Joe gave us a bid on some steps and railings that we felt was competitive. We decided to go along with it but Joe said he needed at contract with 50% down which is pretty normal, however he would not give us a completion date as part of the contract. This would give the owner no control as to when the job might be finished. Keep this in mind when dealing with J & L Roofing.

I was very pleased with this company I had two others come place tell me their bids for my roof that I had to have replaced due to wind damage through my insurance company. He was very straightforward with the price and what was going to happen. He was on time for both the inspection and when the job took place. He had my roof done before the day was over cleaned up everything. Joe & his crew have completed numerous projects at our home this year. He completed a new roof, cut down a massive tree, ground out numerous stumps and most recently built a large, beautiful deck around our pool. They have done an amazing job on the projects we have called them on! Joe and his team did a very professional job after a bad wind storm damaged our roof and blew off a big portion of our house siding. Joe installed a temporary fix so the damage didn't spread. He helped me with the insurance company and found a near-perfect color match with both the existing siding and the roof shingles. Unless you already knew, you can't even tell there was any damage! I highly recommend this company. It hard to find a reputable business that you can trust these days, but J&L Roofing-Remodeling is such a company. I can't say enough good about them! They are nice, but be warned they do not use their email or have really any good communication with customers or each other, and they are married.They are tried to upcharge us without clearly knowing and reading their own contracts and when the seller wanted to use another roofer since they were paying for it, we tried emailing them to cancel (to have it all in writing like a normal person that we canceled) they started anyway and told us they never use their email.So far the roof looks good, but they really need to work on communication skills with each other and proof reading contracts they want customers to sign.Service: Roof installation

Do you get tired of businesses not returning your call or acting like a small repair is not worth their company’s time? I know we sure are. If you’re looking for someone to respond and follow through as promised then this is the company to use. We had a leak in our roof and called them on a Friday morning. That evening Joe was on our roof, pinpointed the problem and had it fixed on Sunday morning before a big rainstorm was expected. We can’t say enough good about them. Very professional and friendly.
