Our timeline had to be adjusted a few times, due to situations out of everyone’s control, and Bryan was patient and helped us through it all. His team was professional and kept us up to date the entire way. Thanks to Bryan and his team, our new deck has added value to our home, and a beautiful addition to our backyard oasis.

We hired Reliable Home Improvements to install a sliding door. This was to replace a window on the dining room. This meant cutting a hole that included a brick exterior. The job started by cutting the hole and framing for the door. I understand this type of work creates a mess. But please clean up! A layer of throughly the most of the house. They could have hung plastic isolate the mess. Also the garage and it contents which included furniture was covered with a layer of sawdust. I was always told to leave the job better than you found it. The door was installed and never adjusted at all. Would not slide or lock properly. The interior trim was awful, 1/4” gap on one side. They did later fix that issue. Not sure how a carpenter can leave a job looking like this and be satisfied with their work. Also broke a wheel off the screen door while removing and replacing to clean the door track. The contracted Mason did a good job. That was a plus. In the end I can’t recommend Reliable Home Improvement. Please do some homework when looking for a contractor. Maybe they can build a deck ok, but this seemed above their level of expertise.

The wax ring failed on the toilet in the 1/2-bath next to our dining area and kitchen. Result? New flooring and trim throughout those areas. We had RHIO also install new counters. The work was done quickly and looks fantastic!Highly recommend Reliable Home Improvements.

The crew from Reliable Home Improvements did a tremendous job updating our very outdated kitchen with new cabinets, backsplash, and quartz countertops. The materials were all high quality and installed by a highly skilled, experienced team. The owner, Bryan, communicated frequently with us even before the work began. They also did a thorough job of stripping old wallpaper and carefully prepping the walls to be painted. The work was done in a timely manner. Really pleased with Bryan and his team. They did a nice remodel job on my small bathroom in a very short time.I had all new fixtures installed including a whirlpool tub with new tile around the tub.The bathroom is a joy to use now, they were able to replace everything I didn’t like while still retaining some of the original features like the 1940’s tile floor and walls.I would certainly trust them to do more work for me in the future. Five stars.

Remodeled our bathroom new tub, vanity, toilet, fan, mirror and lighting. Listened to what we wanted and worked with us. It turned out beautiful. Also updated the front of our house. I hired RHIO to repair about 12 feet of rotted sill plate and box beam from an undiscovered water intrusion where the deck abutted the house. They worked with my schedule, efficiently repaired the damage, and cleaned up completely after the job. And all for a very reasonable price. Moreover, the workers were friendly and polite. I called and left a message, no response. So I called again, this time he returned my call.I was trying to find out about getting a complete kitchen and bath remodle. First he stated he was busy, which is understandable. Said it'll be after summer. Ok great I won't be ready till then anyhow. But I wanted to get an estimate done so I can have funds available. He then very rudley informed me he wouldn't come aan hour away to do a remodel.It's not the fact, I was outside his service area. It was the fact he tried to deter me with the time frame, then when I said that wasn't an issue, he stated and I quote "I will not come to kenton for ajust a kitchen and bathroom remodel".Btw Mr reliable guy. You've also lost the opportunity to do work at my property in Urbana too.No need to be rude. All you had to say the beginning was.."Sorry, but Kenton is out of my service area."

Nothing but top notch service. Timley and efficient. Bryan the owner was around to make sure his crew was on top of things and the job was being done right. May not be the cheapest around but you get what you pay for in this world and it is cheaper to buy right the first time than to have to pay someone to clean up a mistake made by another.

Called to and left a message to get and estimate. I waited 6 days then giving them the benefit of the doubt I called again and left yet another voice mail to ask to get an estimate. It has been now 14 days and no call back. If they cannot call you back to even say sorry we are too busy or not interested why even have them do the work to begin with.This is not good business practice. Why bother!

Don't even bother calling them. They don't respond back when you leave a message with work you want done. Signals they don't care, which means the quality of their work is probably low.
