Just the thought of replacing our roof was unnerving. It had two layers of shingles and some questionable wood decking underneath. We knew it was going to be a big job. After researching many companies in our area, we discovered Phil's Construction, located in Streetsboro, OH, was highly rated on BBB and other websites. The company was locally owned and not part of a huge corporation. We prefer to support small businesses when we can. We were very impressed with Phil's quick response to our call and the detail of the initial quote. It was obvious we had chosen a man with years of experience. We found Phil and his crew to have a work ethic that just couldn't be beat. They arrived early and worked tirelessly all day long. They delivered not only what was promised but went beyond expectations. The attention to all aspects of the job was amazing. We appreciated the way Phil kept us in the loop regarding their work progress. He informed us of the expected times of supply deliveries, etc. He often took pictures of the repairs needed so we could see for ourselves the problem areas of the roof. His solutions were justified and much needed. He gave us great customer service. Their initial quote was not the lowest price given but their work turned out to be the best. We are very happy we chose Phil's Construction for the necessary structural repairs and replacement of our roof. As an added bonus, since this construction company can also build new additions, install windows, siding, and other home improvements, we have already approached Phil about upgrading the plumbing in our bathroom shower. We've used Phil's Construction three separate times. They did a partial roof replacement and new siding for our old house, and later, a major renovation on our new house, including new roof, new windows, two new baths, and an extensive redo on the crawl space. The crew does excellent work, and they're always available when follow-up is needed. Obviously, we really like their work!

Phil did an outstanding job with my basement. The work is high quality and he did it all in 3 weeks from start to finish. We only had one problem with the carpet but Phil dropped what he was doing to come and fix the problem. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor and I would use him again in the future.

I highly recommend Phil and his team. I'm picky about quality work and the character of people at my house and I can say it was a very good experience working with Phil as he knows what he is doing, doesn't cut corners and tells you like it is. He also has good vision of what things will look like when complete and really helped us when designing our front porch addition giving us suggestions and ideas and is actually good at color choices. We never felt rushed during the few weeks we took to finalize all the colors and materials and he was very helpful.Furthermore I never worried about anything getting stolen or not cleaning up as his guys respect him and are good people who work very hard and long hours. I got to talk to them everyday after work and they were a fun group of guys who took pride in their work. I had a new roof, gutters, siding, 12 windows, 3 exterior doors a small deck and a front porch with an addition including brick work and its been almost 6 months since completion and we are very happy. My parents have also hired him for windows and a new roof.
