My 30 year old deck needed both repairs and cleaning/stain. We reviewed which areas needed repairs and I was happy with the expertise of the staff in knowing how to best utilize the wood to keep costs down.The carpentry work was great! They let the wood settle for a month, and came back when promised to clean and stain.The guys did an excellent job of protecting my siding from any stain overspray. All for a reasonable price.Great job guys!

I was referred to Protect A Deck by a co-worker who had a great experience. Fortunately for me, this was a great recommendation because I too had a great experience.Terry and Colin were great to work with from the start and I found the costs to be very reasonable compared to another local deck company. Additionally, Terry was very accommodating in getting this work done ahead of a scheduled party I was hosting, which was greatly appreciated.The totality is the job took 3 days to complete. The first day was just for power washing and cleaning. Then about a week later, they returned to prep and then apply the stain to my deck. Tyler was the gentleman who completed the job and he was very professional and efficient in his work. I honestly was shocked to see him complete all that he did in just two days, it was impressive.Overall, I highly recommend Protect A Deck for anyone who is looking to restore their deck. We have a deck that is approximately 22 years old. Protect a Deck and More gave our deck a thorough power wash and then came the next day to do the staining. I can’t tell you how pleased we are with the finished product. They took the time to cover my landscaping and the back of my house so that it was not impacted by the painting process. My first experience with Protect A Deck I'd rank an 8.5/10! I had a deck that was very weathered and hadn't been touched in years. They did an amazing job power washing it and a pretty good job staining it as well. The color is exactly what I wanted and the best part of it all was from the time I got the estimate to the time they finished was under a week during their busy time.The only downsides of why I didn't give them a full 10/10 excellent is we had talked about doing some light sanding for an extra (very reasonable) price and I'm not sure there is much of a difference from before though I was not charged the extra amount discussed. The second thing is the stain is a little uneven in some places however I know part of that is due to the condition the wood was in prior and some areas might have soaked in the stain more than others so it may not have been all due to their processI would absolutely recommend them to anyone and will likely use them again in the future.

We contacted them for snow plowing after other companies either didn't get back to us or didn't show. Protect a deck & more was responsive and timely. Great communication and did a fantastic job on the driveway. The driveway is gravel and not the easiest to plow, and it came out great. Highly recommend if you are looking for someone reliable, good with communicating, and who does good work!

Our deck is 25 years old with several restain treatments over the years. 15 feet by 25 feet with a gazebo.Outstanding technician preparation to prevent over spray on the house and landscaping.End result was a great ...rich color when dry.Carpentry portion, which involved removing and replacing numerous weathered floor planks, several replacement spindles, step boards, and all top rails was excellent!
