Installation done in 2016, have had two leaks since. The first leak we had a lot of trouble getting repaired, and the second we can't even get them to respond, phone out of service. We do have a warranty on the roof.Service: Roof installation

We have used Exterior Qualities Home Improvement for 7 years for all of our home projects. Projects included renovations on our primary home's master bathroom and kitchen, roofs at our primary home and our investment home, all new windows in our investment home, our primary home's deck and property privacy fence. They are very professional throughout the whole experience starting with the owner, the sales people, and the installers. They always make everything right !! We will continue to use Mike and his team for all or our future home improvement needs. Great company!

Do not hire this contractor! I had to have the first crew removed from the project due to extremely poor craftsmanship. They had no idea what they were doing. The second crew did a much better job but had to be called back multiple times to fix issues. I paid them in full before the gutters were put back on, when they eventually got installed, they were sloped the wrong way. They still have not returned to correct the issue after over a month of phone calls. They never return calls to schedule. I'm sure if I hadn't paid them the remainder of the bill they would be back immediately. Once they get the money they totally disregard there customers. I would definitely not recommend this contractor!

My wife and I had a home addition that included two bathrooms and a third floor bedroom constructed by exterior qualities. We had a very mixed experience. We asked several times for a timeline never to receive a detailed plan. Dates and timelines that were discussed in short term were were missed and short notice on some things made it impossible to accommodate their needs as well also causing delays. The final product is of average quality. Instead of having tile professionals or professional dry wallers do those jobs they had their crew do it all. The crew was extremely polite and hard working but tile and dry wall can make it break a finished project. Mike did compensate us in final price for some of the flaws in the finished product but I feel like this job was a bit over their head.

Do not hire this Contractor! Not a single task on our dream project was completed with good quality, there was a lot of miss-communication. They sub-contract work to very un-professional, low-quality team and keep saying that those contractors won't work for them any longer. Even after several emails, calls, they have not completed work. They did not collect remaining funds that is even more un-professional. It made us feel that they probably recovered good profit by hiring low quality sub-contractors and provided us higher estimation. I waited for months before writing this review. Anyways, We completed work on our own and by hiring another contractor. I would definitely not recommend this contractor!

We had our outside on the house done. The roof looks good, the windows are nice. We also had siding installed. Well needless to say, the siding is falling off and warping on the ends of my home. Tried e-mailing and calling them, with no response. We are not happy.

We had a piece of roof fascia come off due to a storm. We called Exterior Qualities to see if they could fix it. They came out and fixed it the next day even though it was a minor repair. Fast service and great price! We will use them again!

Parents used them for their addition. Many problems occurred during construction. Needless to say poor quality. Still waiting on them to contact me back about my mom shower unit that should be covered by warranty. And while I wait it is leaking into the crawl space doing more damage. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

If in could give negative stars if I could. They overbooked and rushed to get the job done. They didn’t follow the plans and had to redo some parts of the deck. The lack of communication is the worst. Still having issues with one of my decks and we can’t get anyone to call us back, it’s been almost a year. I could go on and on about the poor workmanship but it won’t get me anywhere, since it appears they only respond to the positive reviews. So for the person reading this do your research before hiring this company.

Amazingly beautiful! After speaking with Mike Barney and making the final decision to have EQHI complete this project, they began. Thank you to Robin and Amber for all their assistance and making each phone call a pleasant one. To Mike Barney, Justin, John and all you sub crews, thank you for EVERYTHING. With all the twists, turns, ups, downs, rain, heat and an association that governed their every step, you all did amazing following the rules.It was fun for me to watch. It was like a footballgame. We had kickoff with step one, the footers. The crew did a wonderful job in the blazing heat and due to the rules, no heavy equipment and nothing on the grass, they dug it by hand for 2 days. Timeout for Inspector visit, passed. On the move and concrete work began, again with the rules it was done by hand in the blistering heat.. Then came the framing, roof and being enclosed. Really taking shape. Electrical and flooring next, then windows and slider. We were so impressed by the workmanship. Also, the crews cleaned up outside the addition as well as inside and hauled it away after each working day. Then on September 09, 2019 we had touch down and the addition was completed. We just kept walking around in it and saying WOW. The room is now decorated and enjoyed by all of us. The neighbors would check it out each evening and stopped for visits after we finished decorating. Compliments a plenty and we told them that the addition was done by EQHI.Again to Mike and all that are family at EQHI, we thank you for this beautiful addition. Your professionalism, courtesy and workmanship to all involved in this project are well noted.Oh and if you're wondering yes we'd hire them again, yes the cost is affordable, yes the workmanship is great and the communication between EQHI and the customer is quite satisfactory.Mr. Barney its been a pleasure doing business with you and EQHI.A very happy and satisfied customer.Kathy Miller

I would never recommend this company. Unprofessional, my project was to start in August and my 2 1/2 WEEK project just finished 5 months later. Many parts of the project had to be replaced due to poor workmanship

Unfortunately I am in the same position with this company as I was during construction. They do not respond very well or at all. I have some issues with the work that has been done and I can't seem to get any help even though I supposedly have a 10 year warranty. It's unfortunate that a local family owned company won't provide service as promised.

I worked for these people for a year terrible communication all the time overcharging customers constantly owner must be going out of business or something they cant even pay their contractors they have owed my crew and I 3 grand and keep making excuses why we cant get paid looks like my family is going to miss out on the money doubt I'll ever be paid
