Handy Hubby completed our basement a few months ago and we have been loving it ever since!! If I could give them 15 stars I would!! Jack and his crew were incredible to work with. From start to finish Jack was reliable, very responsive, patient, and pleasant. I do not have one complaint about Jack, his crew, and this company! We welcomed Gary into our house every day and he always greeted myself and my 2 toddlers (that anxiously awaited his arrival every day) with a smile! This company and crew are trustworthy and professional!! They were neat and tidy throughout the entire remodel. When everything was finished, Jack came in and cleaned everything from top to bottom-you would have never even known there was just construction going on…We didn’t have to do anything but start enjoying our new space! We recommend Handy Hubby 10/10 times and will absolutely use them for any future work we may need!! Thank you Jack, Gary, and crew!! We love our new basement!! Where is the ten star button? This is a gold star remodel of our master bathroom. From start to finish the project was completed in a timely manner. Joe is a master carpenter. The crew is always delightful to work with. They were accommodating to some changes/upgrades we had. We found glass sinks and had them install plugs under the sink so we could uplight them. We purchased lighted recessed medicine cabinets and they were framed in beautifully. We chose a shower door on rollers - new technology - and although it took longer to install, looks fantastic. 12/2/22 Update: Had HH return for my kitchen renovation and Jack is doing a great job now being owner. Joe and Dan were stellar in getting quite an overhaul of my 100 year old kitchen remodel/relocation involving taking down a support wall, moving washer and dryer to 2nd floor from basement, swapping our kitchen and dining room locations, moving radiators, and replacing two windows with a single bay window! A summer long project but top notch kitchen we now enjoy very much! PAST REVIEW:, Thank you so much...I knew Handy Hubby was the crew for making my vision a reality! John spear headed this with Joe and Jack as the manpower to make this happen and my family couldn't be happier (especially my 3-year old daughter!). From day one, the attention to detail and integrity that radiated from John sold me to sign up for their services; it was worth every day and every penny spent towards replacing my old attic stair which has gotten me another step closer to having an epic attic play room as I did back in NYC. My home is getting close to the 100 year age, as are most in my neighborhood right by the zoo, and Handy Hubby was careful throughout the whole process spending the time to confine and cleanup the demo area in accordance with current lead safe practices. Thanks again John, Joe, and Jack and keep up the good honest work!

Handy Hubby was very responsive and reasonable with their timeline. Jake came out to add spindles to our railing to close the gaps where our son could fall through. He was precise and did quality work. Pictures show unfinished screw holes because that’s how we asked him to leave them since we plan on waiting a bit to paint them. Although he did offer to finish them further. We are so grateful for Jake and Handy Hubby for their professionalism. Hands down would use them again in the future.Service: General repairs

Josh and Jimmy did a fantastic job finishing our basement. They were so friendly and just kept telling us that they wanted to please us! They were very tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day. They showed us step by step what they were doing and it was really awesome to watch it all come together. I could tell they really cared about our family and the outcome. This remodel was during the Covid-19 and they took extra precautions to ensure our safety! Highly recommend Handy Hubby!

From start to finish John and his crew transformed my attic beginning with the attic stair replacement in 2018 and culminating with gorgeous finish work and built-ins. The attention to detail and creative carpentry this project required caused me to hire John for the job because I wanted the quality of work they put into my stair continue on through my attic space and they did not disappoint. Thank you for taking the time to put quality and detail first over rushing to get this done. I can finally enjoy my unique view of the Maumee River from my attic balcony here in South Toledo by the Zoo!

The guys did a great job installing my awning. Carmine picked out the perfect one.They also did a great job replacing the small fence in my backyard. They even added pickets to keep my small dog in. Handy Hubby did an incredible job transforming our new house into our dream home. From the first meeting, Carmine was honest and realistic about how achievable our goals were and immediately offered alternative ideas and solutions to issues we didn't even realize were there. Foremost was making the house wheelchair accessable and multiple dog resistant. Communication was constant and clear- impressive, given that we were still in the process of packing up and moving half of our household from across the country. The crew was upfront about what would be the best use of our time and budget and referred us to a range of terrific vendors who provided services in cooperation with Handy Hubby. The office staff were friendly, accommodating, and patient with scheduling needs . When we started the move in, the courteous and incredibly good-natured crew provided encouragement and advice as we took on DIY projects to put our finishing touches in the space even as they returned several times to get the smallest part of their work the way we preferred. It means so much to our household to be starting off life in this house supported by the great work and positive energy that Handy Hubby brought to the project.

First time using Handy Hubby and couldn't have been happier. We hired them to install tiled floor , wall paneling and new toilet in our bath and their work was exceptional. Our floor tile is unusual and Jack handled it beautifully, even when he ran into an issue with the old floor that we hadnt anticipated. Prior to placing tile he even laid it out in two different patterns for me to choose from to insure my satisfaction. He is a perfectionist. John, the owner oversaw everything and is readily available for questions and planning. We wouldn't use any other company for our home improvement needs. They are all professional, curtious and keep your home as neat and clean as possible.

Jack and his crew did a phenomenal job updating our house to get it ready to sell. The price was reasonable, even as we added on additional work during the course of the project. Had a door rehung and aligned and a new storm door installed. They are booked up and it took a month for the actual work but man it is worth the wait. The estimate was spot on and very reasonable. The workers were on time and very professional. The storm door they brought was perfect and everything was sealed up very nicely. Thank You so much! I can't wait to use you guys again. Fixed mailbox! Excellent service, reasonable pricing. We had been without our mailbox for over a month because it had broken and even though they were booked out for about a month, they made sure to fit us in and get our mailbox fixed ASAP. The technician even replaced some rusty screws, going above and beyond. This was our first experience with them and would highly recommend!

I used Handy Hubby Remodeling to do a complete remodel of my unfinished basement. The work included framing, drywall, flooring, installation of a full bathroom, kitchen cabinets and electrical. They use a certified/licensed plumber & electrician. They worked with me on my floor plan and the flooring contractor I wanted to use. From beginning to end, this was the best contractor experience I've ever had. The owner - thorough overview of the contract, great communication, very responsive. The crew (Jack, Joe, Brandon, Carlos) - polite, clean, communicative, quality work and on time. I also found out that they have a handyman service (Rapid Response) and will plan to use them for the minor things I need to have done (small installation projects, quick fixes, etc.).
