We had a large 4 day project: tuck point both chimneys, replace a leaking vent in roof, tuck point loose mortar/cracked bricks around the house including front/back porch steps, and replace rusted lintels and bricks above 5 windows, which were causing cracks/loose mortar around the windows. Bill did an excellent job providing the estimate, fully answering my questions and explaining what and why needed to be done. (We had 3 different estimates on this job.) The crew was 4 guys that were friendly, cheerful, courteous, and effective. They explained what they were doing and answered all of my questions thoroughly. They also did a very good job cleaning up each day. Not only did they spray off the windows on the last day to get the brick/mortar dust off, they also cleaned them with with windex. I am very happy with the crew and quality of the work.I have already recommended them to a neighbor who needs some chimney work done.

The roof install was fine. But the workers left nails and smaller debris for cleanup until after the weekend - I cleaned most up myself. The gutter guard was put back incorrectly in sections and the new chimney flashing was installed sloppily.I've tried reaching out to them many times to correct the last two issues, but they do not reply. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately we had a poor experience with Karbella. We had leaking from our flat roof, specifically around the exhaust pipe coming from our water heater (as determined by Karbella).To fix the issue, they determined they needed to build a brick chimney around the existing pipe and tar the base area.The leak continued to happen. They came out multiple times to lay more sealant and change the caps on top of the chimney… it did NOT fix the problem.They determined they could not fix it and gave us a full refund.We discovered that installing a solid brick chimney on top of a flat roof (with no concrete support from underneath) was the completely wrong thing to do (karbella should have known better).After paying double the initial cost, using a different company, and yes the brick was torn down, it’s finally been repaired properly.The only positive is that they had enough integrity to see their error and refund the money.

I needed a new roof so I got quotes from multiple local companies including Karbella. Their price was competitive and included a good warranty so I went with Karbella. Installation was completed in a day and half, which included reroofing my shed. One small issue occurred with my gutters where water wasn’t properly going to the downspout, I called Karbella and they were out quickly to fix my gutter at no charge. After getting bids from multiple companies over a period of a few months, we decided to go with Karbella Construction for a full roof replacement and new gutter installation. From the initial estimate that Bill gave us, Karbella was very detailed on the work that needed to be done. Our project had a low slope roof on the back of the house that required different roofing of which Bill explained the pros/cons and different options of materials we could go with based on the slope. As well as how it would blend and match with the shingled portion of the roof.Shane and the crew that came out was on time, professional and took care to protect our property, deck, and landscaping during the entire installation. As nice bonus, they completed the job one day ahead of schedule and the project came it at exactly the price (a very fair and competitive one) that was quoted. Shane and Karbella installed a new roof and gutters on my home a few years ago and did a great job. The entire Karbella crew was professional from start through finish, including their thorough clean-up. Earlier this summer, I had someone else work on our chimney. This other company did a horrible job and damaged our roof and chimney. I explained the situation to Shane and he inspected chimney and roof, identified the issues, proposed solutions, and had a crew out to fix the other company's work in a matter of days. It is rare these days to have a company this responsive with this quality of work for such a fair price. Shane & his crew are wonderful! My husband & I had been dreading replacing our roof & gutters, but they made it such an easy process. We have, in the past, contacted a couple of the 'big name' companies & set up appointments to receive quotes these companies never even showed up to quote us!Shane responded quickly, showed up early & quoted us an extremely reasonable price! They even fit us in within a week of our quote!The crew showed up on time, worked very efficiently & within a day we had our new roof. The next morning they came & finished our gutters.Both crews were very conscientious about cleaning up everything before they left for the day, which was one of our biggest worries, because of our dogs. People had told us to be careful because roofers 'always' leave nails in your yard. We didn't find that to be our experience, they cleaned up after themselves.Overall, Karbella made this a great experience! We will definitely use them in the future! Kudos to Shane & his crew!

We hired Karbella to repair chimneys. They showed up on time, provided the services exactly as agreed. They also had to make adjustment because their lift would not fit next to a chimney due to the proximity of the neighbor house. They could have tried to bill extra, but did not - they erected the needed scaffolding and completed the job. Chris was great to work with. Highly recommend.Service: Custom masonry

Shane and his crew are absolutely fantastic! We needed a new roof and chimney repair as we noticed water stains in our upstairs ceiling. Shane came out the next day for the estimate and the price was very fair. His crew even temporarily patched up the spots where the roof was leaking before they were able to come back out to replace it. He was always available for any questions I had and kept me updated with pictures of the progress. The new roof was done in 1 day and looks amazing. We had a very large tree fall on our house during a recent storm. It smashed a fairly large portion of our roof, and crushed some of the rafters. In the immediate aftermath, I was calling the insurance company and many contractors. The insurance company was fast, but the suggested contractor didn't respond to calls. One of the companies I then called on my own was Karbella. They were the ONLY company that came out immediately to assess the damage and provide an estimate for repairs. This happened within 24 hours. On a weekend. In the snow and ice. So, that's the first point to make: Chris (at Karbella) was super responsive, communicative, and just plain awesome to work with.Next, when it was finally time to do the repairs (after the tree was removed), Karbella put us in front of other jobs (we had a big hole in our roof and it is winter) and replaced the entire roof, including doing the needed internal structural work to replace rafters and other supports. They did this in icy and freezing weather...walking around on a two-story home's roof, risking their well-being to fix our home. That's the second point to make: they were on time, finished the job as quickly as possible, and did it regardless of the risks involved with replacing a roof in icy conditions.Finally, the finished product looks awesome. The roof is beautiful.In my extensive experience working with contractors on a variety of projects, Karbella stands out. A lot. Responsive. Communicative. Caring for their customers. Skilled.
