If your looking to build a house and a little hesitant, give Ali and his team at 1st Oklahoma Construction a call! I said I would never build a home and the experience we had with Ali's team was AWESOME!! The entire process was great!! Ali's team will not lead you astray on ideas you have. They had great suggestions when it came to the ideas we had for our custom home. They take great pride in what they do. I can't say enough about working with 1st Oklahoma Construction they were quick to respond and always answered! The sub contractors on our home also contributed to making the process a good one as well. If you're thinking of building for the first time or had a previous bad experience and hesitant give 1st Oklahoma a call! It will be a great experience!!!

We bought our 1st Oklahoma Construction home in 2012 and we still love it! We did have a few issues come up during the warranty period. I was surprised at how Ali responded very quickly to those issues and got them fixed. He is great to work with and always makes sure you are happy with their work. As with any home buyer, we also met with a handful of contractors before we decided to go with First OK Constr. Soon enough we understood that we made the right choice, and that feeling has stayed unchanged until today. Since the very first day all the personnel of First OK Constr have been very prompt and professional in their communication. After being told by Ali several times that he would address the issue of his contractors using different materials than what was promised, he's decided that he just wants me to take down any bad reviews and told me that he will not be fixing the issues. Look elsewhere for a builder who will stand by their work and their word. His brick layers are in my neighborhood right now using muddy grimy creek water to mix mortar for his new builds. His contractors and employees don't respect him and he won't respect you. He told me at the closing table "you know I'm always around, just call if you need anything" then I never heard a word from him about my issues until he called to tell me take down the bad reviews. There are good builders, and he's not one. Call me, Ali, if you want to talk again, buddy ol pal.

Wish I could give this builder zero stars. We bought our house 6 yrs ago from Ali and 1st Ok. Thia house has been nothing but problems. Drywall cracks everywhere, gaps in our hardwood floors, and our retaining wall is rotted and falling apart. Our master shower was built with drywall instead of cement board. When I called Ali to show him pictures of the mold, he told me, "I can't watch all of these subcontractors like a hawk." Um...that is a general contractors job. He cant even tell me the contractor who installed my shower. That is because he bids out every house he builds so he can get the cheapest price. A reputable builder would have subs that he always uses because they do good work, even if they arent the cheapest...then you wouldnt have to watch them like a hawk. If you are lookong to buy a new house, you should look elsewhere, i wish we had.

Please ask residents in his neighborhoods through the HOA Facebook pages what they think of Ali and the poor workmanship he stands behind. It will save you buying a house from this man.
