100% Recommend Guss and his crew for your renovation projects!Guss and his team saved the day. We renovated most of our bathroom. Our original contractor bailed out after partial demolition of our bathroom. We called Guss, and he arrived in 30 minutes! He made a plan that day to complete our bathroom.Guss educated us on our options, costs, etc. He was able to manage all aspects of the project, Tile, plumbing, countertops, fixtures. He was showed up every day to ensure the work was going according to plan, and to guide us at every step.His crew was very courteous. They kept the work areas clean, and were extra diligent with keeping the house as clean as possible while working. One of them even made friends with our cat! They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day of work.I would definitely recommend Guss Construction, and I plan to use him for any other needs in the future.

Gus and his crew were on the job and finished in great time. We added walls to create a room and we are seriously pleased with the work. These photos are one day from completion. He built in a shoe rack and hangers in the closet. Couldn't be happier.

So, after dealing with the countertop place, they refuse to replace or fixed the defective countertop. It looks like I'm going to be at about 10 to 11 Grands, give or take to replace all of it. The countertop has buff or twirl marks in it that can't be removed. The back splash was pretty much unacceptable. As you can see, the countertop above the sink is half an inch off from being level. And some other pictures of their work.

Guss Construction installed a backsplash in my kitchen and soft close hinges on my cabinets. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Very professional and great work. I will definitely be using them again!

Guss is seriously my hero! We live in a rural area where permits aren’t required, so we were stunned to see what Guss and his team uncovered when they started the demo for our remodel. Any other contractor would have run from the crazy mess they found. Guss spent days trying to find a way to make it structurally right. I’m pretty sure our floors almost gave him a heart attack, but he found a way to make them solid and level. And they’re beautiful!! When my bathroom vanity was lost in transit, he spent half a day tracking it down to make sure I got what I wanted. I can’t believe this is my home. Everything they did far exceeded my expectations. We will never hire another contractor! No matter how busy he gets, he’s worth the wait!

What can I say besides Guss and his team made my dreams come true!! I had 2 very outdated bathroom, I had a vision of what I wanted, explained it to Guss and got more so much more than I think I even expected. From start to finish Guss made sure he communicated with us every step of the way. Very professional, his team of guys were excellent! Our remodel took a little over a month, many of those days just his team was in our home, they are very professional and respectful, I never felt uneasy leaving my home in their hands. When I wanted to change a few thing in the middle of remodel Guss made it happen, we had a mishap during the upstairs remodel that caused a water leak, not only did Guss fix the problem he went above and beyond to repair the damage. Guss fixed the hole in my kitchen ceiling then repainted the ENTIRE ceiling and the walls in my kitchen/dining room. My kitchen looks better than before Guss started the job, and that wasn’t even what I contracted him for!! He is a man of his word and his clients approval/happiness is his number one goal. What can I even say?! There are so many things I could put on here but I’ll just hit the highlights. Guss was SO HELPFUL throughout our whole garage conversion process. At one point we tried to save money by finding our own electrician and it turned into a nightmare situation and Guss helped us through it instead of being frustrated with us! He was a huge resource for us at that time and felt more like a friend. He always kept his word on timelines and worked so fast. His crew was phenomenal and all were so kind to our kiddos running around during construction. Guss answered his phone/texts within 5 minutes just about every time I texted him (even once when he was under a house!) and yet somehow I don’t think I ever saw him on his phone while he was doing our work. We were truly so blessed to find him and to have him help us with our project. He’s a solid guy with tons of knowledge, compassion, and kindness. We will be using him in the future for anything else we might need.

Guss is a very good all around guy. He goes above and beyond, he requests payments in a reasonable time frame. He is not a throw it in type of contractor. If there was something I had missed in the framing or something else, he would repair without an hassle. He would send pictures/videos of progress and worked late as he needed. Gus was just so Amazing! I had a broken water line and had to turn my water off last Friday while I located someone to fix it. I called a few of the big commercial companies but it was days before they could get to me and their charges would be much much higher. I looked at the better business bureau to find an Independent contractor and found Gus! He came out to assess my problem within an hour of my call and then had it all fixed and running again the very next day! He and his staff are very kind, courteous, and professional! His compassion for other people shows as he works to keep costs down as well. My wife and I moved out here from Colorado in August and we have a long list of renovations that we want to do on our new house to make it our own. We contacted a couple of other contractors but were unable to get the work done either because of the price or the within the timeframe that we wanted. Luckily my wife found Gus! He responded to our phone call very quickly and was out at our home the next day to give us an estimate and help us navigate the process. He is very knowledgeable and was able to give us advice on the remodeling that we wanted to get done. He started the project within a couple of days and him and his crew worked hard to get the job done quickly and to our satisfaction. They knocked down two interior walls, moved the plumbing and electrical to new spots, tiled the floor in the new area, and even added a 30 amp plug for our RV. We are already working with him on our next project which is replacing our kitchen counter tops! We like how nice, honest, prompt, and knowledgeable that Gus and is whole crew were and we will be using him on all of our home renovation needs in the future. We had a great experience with Guss and his whole team. We live in an older home and had a bathroom in poor condition overall. The bathroom had an ugly old bathtub with stained dated tile, a leak behind our shower bath that had damaged the sheet rock to the side of the tub, and a leaky sink. Guss replaced our bathtub and a plumber named Mike replaced our bathroom plumbing. They even ran into unexpected problems and Guss didn’t charge us extra. His tile team took great care and did a detailed job with our tile. It looks AMAZING!!! They even made it look more modern by adding an indented place for shampoo etc.without spiking up the price. I would highly recommend Guss and his high quality team! We plan on getting more repairs done in the near future. Thankful to find an honest business that does beautiful work at an affordable price. Most importantly to me...the whole team was super kind and non judgmental. So grateful!

Guss Construction did an amazing job transforming our outdated kitchen into a beautiful spacious room. New cabinets, flooring, pantry and arranging a better flow. Guss remolded both of our bathrooms and did a great job. Always courteous and always on time. A week after he was done, we had a little issue, which had nothing to do with his work. Anyways, I called him to ask him for advice and he showed up and helped me out! He didn’t have to, but he did with a smile! Great job Guss...I would recommend him to anyone!

If you want to know if Guss really lives up to they hype the answer is a resounding "YES!" If you want to know why, read on! Saying that everything went perfectly during a construction project would be a stretch because it just does not work that way, especially on a 70+ year old home. That being said, every hiccup that came up with our elderly house was handled professionally and with care by Guss and his team. Every question we had along the way (and there were a lot) was answered thoroughly. Every time we needed something addressed it was taken care of promptly. We had some unforseen issues come up during construction and Guss was very understanding about each of them and was more than fair about the cost of addressing the issues. There are even things that I know he took care of without upcharging us out of the kindness of his heart. The team of workers that were in and out of our home were all extremely polite and kind as well. I cannot say enough about how comfortable they made us feel in our own home while it was under construction. They all went out of their way to be as unintrusive in our daily lives as possible. As long as Gus and his team are in business I won't trust my home in anybody else's hands. I know that I can hand the project over to them and not have to stress about it after that. Guss to the rescue! We initially purchased new flooring through Home Depot, but had a bad experience with their installation process. Eventually we had to cancel Home Depot and find someone to finish and correct their mistakes. Enter Guss, he went above and beyond to finish our flooring project. We thought we had a leak in our shower. I looked on Google for a reputable plumber and found Guss Construction. The company has an A+ rating with the BBB so I decided to try them. Mr Guss picked up the phone, listened to my issue, and came out the next day. He determined what the issue was and thankfully, it was not a leak but buildup in the showerhead. He clean out the showerhead and then he even checked out sink faucets and cleaned them too. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and explained the issue in detail. He even recommended another service provide to clean out thankless water heater since we didn't know who to call.
