Stayed 2 nights. Was a bit nervous it would be noisy because it was right in the middle of all the shops and activities but it was absolutely the quietest place we have ever stayed! The staff was awesome! The room beautiful and the bed was really comfortable! The kitchenette has a Keurig but no coffee pods....which would have been nice to have coffee when we woke up. That is my only complaint. The did have a coupon for a free coffee downstairs but DID NOT want to go down to get that before Showering and getting dressed. Would have been nicer to have a coffee when we woke up. Will come again but bring our own coffee makings.

Much better than what you would expect out of a historic hotel. We did have a little issue with the key in the door, but like with most older doors you just need to bring the key out slightly to get the key to turn. Room had plenty of space, but the barn door was an interesting choice for the bathroom because it was hard to cover the whole area of the doorway. Front desk people were very friendly and loved talking about the history of the hotel. Parking was about a block away, but they had a space for those to load/unload on the street by the hotel.

The Cons and Pros: :DCons:The bathroom sink area is barely lit, the shower is tiny with only 1, wire basket for a soap bar, our TV's / hotel phones weren't working due to no Wi-Fi, we heard loud street traffic ( including semi-trucks ) well into the night and lastly, the light of our AC unit was by the ceiling ( unreachable) and it lit-up our room ALL night.Pros:The staff is A+, the decor and location are perfect and there is a Starbucks in the hotel lobby! :D

The customer service was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, nice and helpful. The room was large and we loved having the kitchenette. One of my favorite things was that they had large towels. Normally hotel towels are tiny but these were more like bath sheets! The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. The cons I have are minor. I hate showers that don't have detachable shower heads. I just feel cleaner with one when I can directly spray all my bits! Also seems like it would be easier to clean the shower when it detaches too. This is common in most hotels, I just wish it wasn't. Also the bedroom door is cute and adds to the charm but has a big glass panel in it. While you can't see through it, it does let light in the room. Also, I do travel solo and while I wasn't alone on this trip I would prefer a solid door for safety reasons. Parking is about a block away. I was fine with that and with some large parking lots you end up walking that far anyway, but it would be something to note for anyone with mobility concerns. I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Absolutely horrible! First when we check in we said we could do the security deposit in cash and are informed they don't take cash ever.... okay well the proce of the stay had the deposit fee included in it for one big charge and when it came time to refund it I never got it back !! The manager couldn't care less. The first time I called the girl took my name and number almost a week later still nothing..... then when I finally get the manager to call back he wants to argue and tell me I'm wrong when I try to explain the deposit was in the total charge and that he can't do anything about .....Horrible management better off staying somewhere else

We needed a getaway from a stressful week and Frontier Hotel in Pahuwska was above and beyond what we could have imagined. Lisa, who checked us in, was so down to earth., accommodating, and professional. She was a huge part of what made our stay so wonderful! The rooms are simply luxurious and it’s such an amazing place to stay if you are looking to explore Pawhuska!

Wow! What an amazing stay we had! This hotel smells amazing when you walk in and is so clean and comfortable! Aimee at the front desk was probably the best hotel staff we have ever experienced! She was nice, helpful, and she was happy to share history about Pawhuska with us! We are so thankful we got to stay at the Frontier!Even with it being a Holiday weekend, the hotel was awesome to accommodate!

Large room, great view, but it is not a Paris view so 200 a night (169 with taxes 194 a night) over priced. Gm is very know kind and friendly and wants his hotel right. It could be short staffed or no time but room was not up to being listed as a luxury hotel. Absolutely no way to turn the fan in bathroom off...I called an asked. Loud, high pitch noise all night; no sleep. Room was straighten but not clean. Found change and candy on floor under curtains and a rubber glove by the shower. One incredibly small bar of soap for sink and shower and only 1 hand towel. This was for a 2 night stay for 2 people. Kitchenette but no complimentary anything except 2 cups of coffee and 2cups of tea...for 200 a night I expect and normally m recv in hotels, pop corn or cookies or something...not plastic ware and a chipped dirty mug. For 20.00 more stay at the Pioneer Woman Boarding House...they had an out door balcony, and parking, complimentary snacks and coffee etc. The owners of this hotel need to step it up. Spoke to people in elevator and they all expressed they were as they put it "greatly underwhelmed".

Loved this hotel!!!!! The history behind it is absolutely intriguing and the inside is like walking back in time. Beds are super comfy and the window views are gorgeous! Celeste and Mary Jo at the front desk knocked my boots off with their southern hospitality, they were the sweetest girls and were very helpful with things to do and see. I will be coming back in the spring only if these wonderful ladies are there!!!!

With Pawhuska being a small town there isn't alot of options for lodging. With this being one of the only hotels in town, we were lucky they had a room. This hotel is centrally located right in the middle of everything. We came in late, and Fletcher the young man that checked us in was amazing. We booked a Cowboy King Suite. And boy was it Sweet. The room was immaculate, with down everything, even the bath robe. Elaborate kitchenette, really modern bathroom, and even a couch for extra guest that had linens ans blanket ready. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. We came for the Pioneer Woman. To see the places she had, and visit them. With a full 180° of windows I could see everything from my room. I really enjoyed my stay and definitely will be back. I would recommend this hotel to Anyone.

It could be so much better. The room and furnishings were nice. Front desk staff was not welcoming. The parking is very far from the hotel. Housekeeping does not actually clean, they just make your bed. The room had not been thoroughly cleaned after the previous visit (toilet was dirty and there was hair in the shower). To top it all off, we were woken up on Sunday morning to the sound of a jackhammer! The hotel is doing construction and I’m not sure why Sunday morning would be the time to prioritize that?! To be a fairly expensive hotel (by Pawhuska standards) we were very disappointed.

I loved staying here! So cool to have such an old historic building with stylish comfy hotel rooms inside. The Pioneer Woman has some wonderful shops and restaurants in this cute town and it was excellent to stay right across the street. Price was good, I’d love to stay here again someday!

The room we stayed in was comfortable and roomy, on the 5th floor. Beds were wonderful. Glad we had a refrigerator for all the leftovers from the Mercantile! Just a couple of suggestions for the bathroom: really could use some benches or tables, and hooks on the walls for robes and towels. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and highly recommend! Thank you so much!

As a traveling nurse I have stayed in plenty of hotels and this one was absolutely my favorite. Huge rooms, bed was very comfortable, beautiful pillows.Decor was beautiful and the history was so interesting. They didn’t skimp on the bedding, pillows or towels and the bathrobes were nice.Need electric outlets by the night stand and maybe some plastic ware and plates in the room.I will most definitely be staying here every time I’m back in town and maybe a great get away when I’m not working! Parking was a bit limited.Great location to The Merc and food options.

I went on a trip and this was my favorite hotel!! The staff were kind, the bed was awesome and the bathroom! The only thing I would change is the bathroom 🚻 hangers. When you book a room for four people you might want to have 4 hangers. Besides that, awesome place, would recommendNearby activities: The mercantile was right next door and Charlie's ice cream was just down the street. So awesome. And there were a ton of thrift shops around.

Room 205 is beautiful with panoramic views of the town which is amazing at night with the large windows. The room decor was beautifully done and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Soft robes and extra large soft towels. Staff is courteous and helpful with the local establishments to visit. We will definitely return!
