It was a large project in which they reconfigured the original floor plan, added a second story, remodeled the kitchen and updated 3 bathrooms. I had the pleasure to work with Ed and his team on my complete bathroom make-over/remodel. I live in a 1920's bungalow and my bathroom was the saddest 1950's hodge-podge when I bought it. The bathroom needed a full gutting, with new wiring, plumbing, fixtures, paint...the works. They did an exceptional job and I am so happy with the results. I'd recommend them to anyone. PGC did a major remodel of our home. Substantially modifying interior rooms - almost gutting the interior of the house and rebuilding it - and built on two additions - a master suite and a large "mud room" connecting the house to the garage. The work they did was spectacular, they did the initial design, working closely with us to give us exactly what we wanted and as the work started they kept us informed all the time. As the inevitable issues arose they worked with us to resolve them, even suggesting lower cost options for us. The Project Manager, Devin Creek, was knowledgeable, friendly, and always on top of things. For part of the remodel we were living outside Oregon and Devin kept us fully informed with email and calls. Given the scope of the remodel and us be remote, a lot could have gone wrong, but PGC performed exceptionally well, did an excellent job on the remodel and the additions, and kept us fully informed of progress. We are extremely happy with the final product and their workmanship was outstanding. It has been a year since the work was completed and we have had zero issues with their work. I highly recommend PGC for any home remodel or design. I do not think you can find in Deschutes county.

Costs and timelines were on target except for the upgrades/decisions that we made along the way. I'm a new homeowner and I want to do a variety of projects to remodel my house over time. I signed up with PGC to do a small project to replace a window with a sliding door, being VERY clear with them that my priority was getting it in quickly, and that I would have other projects that would follow. They said there was a 3 week lead time on the door and they would fit my project in between larger projects after that. 2 weeks later, I got a followup indicating that they hadn't ordered the door with a lousy excuse about the "door guy" being on vacation. I asked for a commitment on timing on the installation to proceed, and they said 1st week of September. I said fine, waited a week, didn't hear anything, asked for a followup, and they responded with another slip in the schedule, changing the install time to 2 weeks - 7X as long as the 2 days I was quoted. I responded, copying Ed on my e-mail to let him know that I was totally unsatisfied with the level of communication and commitment to the expectations they had set with me. That was two weeks ago, and I haven't heard back from either Ed or Elizabeth who is the project coordinator to follow up on ANY aspect of the project.

Called and talked to the receptionist and she took down all of our information for a custom home and shop and she briefly discussed the process. She said that someone would be in touch with us promptly to discuss the details of the build so we could work our way towards an estimate.No one ever called. There's too many home builders in Central Oregon for me to chase these people. One thing PGC doesn't stand for is "pretty good at calling." You lost my business. I'm on to the next custom home builder.
