We were already friends and neighbors of Sierra James at our own place of business, knew they were in the construction industry, were always busy and were all very nice people. When we found a major water leak in our shower with severe subfloor damage and extensive mold, it turned out that Sierra James was the perfect solution to our problem. The demolition and remediation process was outstanding, communication was immediate so we were never in the dark about anything throughout this part including them finding the exact cause of the leak. The rebuild went forward in a timely and extremely professional manner, again, communication was excellent, keeping us up to date on progress as well as options. The finish work was first class and much better than the original. Sierra James is as good as they get for rebuilds, mold remediation and renovations, if you ever need their services...you will not be disappointed and you will make some new, good friends in the process.

We recently had a horse barn converted into a fully finished workspace/family recreation space by Sierra James. We absolutely love the finished space and how it ties some of the barn character into the modern finish. We appreciated Ian's creativity, experience, and skill in designing the space, as well as his up-to-date knowledge of processes and straightforwardness regarding realistic timelines for the project. We were thankful for Charlie, Laurel, and Rick's guidance walking us through post-design decisions, answering all of our questions, and scheduling all non in-house teams in a way that made downtime almost nonexistent from start to finish. The Sierra James team and everyone they worked with was knowledgable, skilled, and provided quality craftsmanship. We highly recommend them, and would be happy to work with them again in the future.

At that time, we really did not know how wonderful that relationship would be.It took over a year to rebuild our home as the damage was substantial. Thirty percent of the trusses were replaced, the entire tile roof, attic insulation, exterior repainted, all existing trusses cleaned and sealed, every inch of the interior of the house cleaned, sealed and painted, all new wood flooring, all new carpet. As we sit here now and look at our home, we are overwhelmed by how much effort and work it took rebuild our home.We had the joy of working with many of you associates over the last year. Melissa and Jordan are exceptional and their knowledge, experience, and were dogged about getting all of this perfect. When Sean came on the scene the same thing happened. Every detail was followed to our satisfaction. Rachael and Kiah’s efforts and work was equally the same. After a massive upstairs water leak, Sierra James was onsite within an hour of us calling, even though it was evening hours. Hector was awesome to work with and walked us through remediation. Bryon and Brent were responsive and kept us up on schedules and insurance contact, like champs. Melissa Jo is a true GEM!! She was patient and kind and communication was amazing. June 2023I would like to leave a review of the company, SIERRA JAMES.Back in January, I found I had a water leak under my master bathroom and laundry area. After calling my Insurance company, I contacted SIERRA JAMES to come out and assess the damage and give me a quote to turn into my Insurance.Representatives of SIERRA JAMES arrived on time and very professionally, walked me through all the stages of the repair work necessary to bring my home back to it's previous quality.I wanted to have a new ADA toilet installed in each of the two bathrooms, and new faucets.After all the mop up, drying out, floor reconstruction, floor tile installation, wall replacement, and painting, they called in theplumber to set my two new toilets and the sink faucets.This was great, because it saved me extra charges for the plumbers to come out again!EVERY single one of the SIERRA JAMES employees I met during this very stressful ordeal (I have 4 Labrador girls I had to leash walk through the front door, around to the back yard twice a day, while the back door and floor were unusable.) was so friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of me and my home.I always received emails at the beginning of the week to let me know who was going to be coming, when, and what the work order of the day would be.The flooring tiles I chose look AMAZING!!! The painting is flawless, and the repair work on one of the vanities, make it look brand new!I am so in love with this company and their AWESOME employees! They did the job correctly, finished in the time they estimated and did such a BEAUTIFUL job.A DEFINITE 5 STARS!!!

Sierra James Construction has delivered high quality, professional service, and at sensible costs.Where do I even begin?I had an old, ugly, tiny bathroom built in 1978. It was time for it to go, especially when being shared by 3 roommates!I shopped around for several quotes, but I went with Sierra James and I absolutely do NOT regret it.Jesse is honestly one of the smart, professional, and knowledgeable. He's been working in this industry for years!He was able to lay out a budget that made sense, and was consistently updated throughout the project so I knew exactly what was being spent on and for what!Constance I felt like I kept in touch with more than most of my friends! Almost every day with email, or texts or phone calls! Ensuring I knew the project schedule, approval of work or items, ensuring that if I had any questions I could contact her at any time!The construction crew was absolutely outstanding! Jarrod went right to work, and worked hard the duration of the project!Nothing was ever too much of a problem! One time they had gotten the wrong doors and he drove all the way to Redmond to get the right ones and bought them back the same day!Even if something happened, they would contact me RIGHT AWAY and inform me about it, and steps to move forward. No hiding anything, or "forgetting" to tell you about something.I wasn't able to get 100% of everything I wanted as the project progressed, but thats how remodels go! You have to adapt on the fly as things happen, and I am still 100% satisfied with everything!As you can see from the before pictures, the old area was just so dated and ugly! I even was able to increase the size of the bathroom by expanding into my dining area (It was already huge! and I do not notice the decreased size).Check out how MODERN and BEAUTIFUL that bathroom is now! Its completely changed how the home feels!I have told all my family and friends about Sierra James. We recently had extensive water damage to our home caused by a leak in the kitchen Island. We called Central Oregon Heating and Cooling. They sent a person (Andrew) out that day. He replaced the faulty disposal and said we should contact our insurance company as we had substantial damage. I asked Kaya of Central Oregon Heating if she knew of companies that did such types of repairs. She recommended Sierra James. We met with them, were impressed with their staff and started the process.We are extremely pleased with the quality of their work. They pay attention to every detail and keep their customers informed as to the progress. I would like to specifically mention Melissa Jo, who worked diligently to be sure we were aware of each step. She sent us weekly summaries of work done that week. The workers (and their sub-contractors) performed admirably. Thom Rivera, a sub-contractor did an extraordinary job of installing the new flooring. Bryon Malitz of Sierra James, was very diplomatic (and correct) in mentioning which type of flooring we should install. We spent a substantial amount of time with Brent and Lonnie, who impressed us with their zeal for quality control. They would not leave a project until it was perfect. There were many others who worked on this project and kudos to all. Unfortunately, I cannot remember all of their names!
