I highly recommend Cornerstone for tree removal. Matt made quick work of 4 dead madrone trees near my house. One big one was leaning towards our house and was going to be more difficult the longer I waited (madrones get real brittle and tend to be more unpredictable the more dead they are). Matt climbed it, and lowered the branches gently down to his helper (his son this time:) so that they didn't disturb the nearby shrubs and saplings. He did the same with two others that weren't as close to the house as well. The fourth tree he was able to get to with the huge boom truck since it was within reach from our driveway. The one thing I was amazed about was how quiet the process was. He used battery powered saws (very powerful ones) whenever he could which cut down on the noise substantially. He had to bring out the gas saw for the big stuff, but it was surprisingly minimal.Overall, experience was fantastic. Matt is a real down to earth guy and easy to work with. I had a little bit of an emergency to get my sub-floor finished because the previous contractor abandoned me and I had new flooring being put in in a day or so. Matt showed up late afternoon and stayed until finished.I also had a tree fall during some strong wind a couple months ago and was worried about the other trees around the one that fell. Matt assessed the problem, and thinned the remaining trees appropriately and now they look healthy and happy and full of life. Matt did several projects for us and we are pleased with the results. He built a 140 foot, decorative retaining wall and it is admired by all our visitors. He constructed steps leading to our creek, making them safe, functional, and esthetically pleasing. He removed a tree which others had refused to touch. Finally, he constructed steps and a ramp for our shed which have remained durable. Matt is a hard worker who produces outstanding results.

Did a great job setting fence posts and grinding down some tree stumps however then he never returned any phone calls texts or emails so I'm not sure what happened because he was looking at doing additional work for me but now I have contracted with someone else.
