Lorin returned my call and came out to bid our roof job the same day. More importantly, he pointed out just how damaged our roof decking was and pointed out some less-than-ideal materials that had been used in the construction of our roof. It inspired confidence that he called out and quoted materials that were appropriate to the weather Newport experiences.His crew was able to fit us in as an emergency and replaced the roof decking and roof the same week, during a break in the weather. The crew that came out was great, they worked fast and did a good job at a fair price and were very friendly.Great work, very responsive, I would definitely use Tru North again.

Lorin and his team at TruNorth have been excellent to work with! After having terrible luck with finding contractors, I found Lorin. They did our roof replacement as well as rebuilding a deck. Never completed the contract, caused damages they never repaired or paid for, lied about returning to complete the work and why the job was taking twice as long as promised. Lorin's site manager was very nice and apologetic but Lorin was an arrogant male chauvinist pig who thinks his body building makes him better than everybody else and that it is more important then his customers. Lorin refuses to answer our calls or address our complaints at all. Filed complaint with CCB and intend to sue to recoup our losses on this terrible experience with a bad contractor.

Due to the low slope in my roof I needed to replace my roof with a membrane roof. I had at least 6 or 7 estimates. I live on the coast and my old roof had started to come up all across the back of my house, I was getting concerned as it was late in the year and the wind can really blow here and did not want to be roofless! Of all the roofers I talked with, Lorin was the only one that said he would bring some sand bags over and set them on my roof (I was actually very relieved rather I needed them or not) a membrane roof is considerably more expensive than your basic roof and I had to figure out how I was going to pay for a new roof. They weren't the least expensive and they weren't the most expensive, they did a great job in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anyone.

These guys seriously rescued me. Had a huge leak show in my house during the storms and these guys were at my house within an hour and Ace got it patched up great. He was the consumate professional! I am super grateful and appreciative. They are super knowledgeable, friendly,and an excellent value. Thank you so much and I hope we get a new roof on my place soon!! Don't bother calling anyone else!!

This company is definitely not recommended: They did a poor job on our decks. After a few days, bubbles formed because the film was applied incorrectly. We complained and the owner of the company denied having done a bad job. Allegedly, the material was to blame. The communication with our general contractor and with us as customers was arrogant, indifferent and cheeky. It was only when our lawyers wrote letters that the company came and repaired the membrane. Hands off, there are better companies.

We did over 60+ roofs including PVC membrane, Comp Roofs, F-wave, GE Silicone and IB PVC decks. We guarantee to uphold our personal 5 year workmanship warranty as well as our product warranty. We install according to warranty speculations to uphold our certification, as well as your product warranty. That is with OC, Gaf, GE silicone, IB and Melarkey.Please note: if there is ever a manufacture error, we have to call our rep/tech team. We will send a crew out immediately.That is the Tru North LLC process and reputation.To recap on the last review. We communicated clearly with the General Contractor about the IB product we had laid for Peters deck. The GC had heaters drying the sheeting out. The GC said the deck was good for us to apply our product. Our team inspected the deck. Our team applied IB pvc decking according to SOP. Two days later the decking bubbled. We sent a team immediately out to inspect. Our team communicated to the GC that we are sending photos and will be in contact with our IB Tech Chad from IB headquarters, so we can insure we have an exact resolution. We were discussing if the application in October weather from going to 70 degree - 40degree day could have caused the shrinking and expanding too quickly . (Oregon Coastal conditions).The home owner was upset and called. I Lorin, communicated with the homeowner. I explained that I communicated with the GC and updated the homeowner on the process. I explained that they have a warranty and we honor the warranty. We will make sure everything is taken care of and made right. I explained the process and order of the operation that is taking place.We also explained that we would have a team arriving the following week. I explained the communication with my tech. I received emails from IB. We communicated to the team what IB wanted. Made sure there was closed loop communication.The homeowner sent a letter from his lawyer stating the dates that the deck needed to be accomplished. I reiterated to the GC and homeowner that team coming as planned. We fulfilled our word and did exactly what we said.On a brand new build it can be very challenging to have a homeowner and a GC communicating their needs.This was an emergency job that we jumped on to help the GC out.

I was in great need of a new roof, so I got four quotes. Before any negotiations, Tru-North's bid was, by far, the clear winner. I did have one small issue after the job was finished. I sent one email to Lorin about it, and much to my amazement his team was there within the same day to address my concerns! I highly recommend Tru-North.
