One of the owners was interested in either buying or consigning my old shed/tiny home at their location last fall. Every time I called him, he kept telling that he would call back on x date to schedule a time to come see it. The date would pass and I would call him back again and then he would give me a new date. This happened 3-4 times before I gave up. I wish there was more communication and professionalism used to either tell me they were not interested or they were too busy so they wouldn't waste my time thinking that was my option to sell it.

I first went online to take a look of available sheds and barns to get an idea of what would fit on my property. After doing so I called and spoke with Matt Pilling who made arrangements to come view the site to take measurements and answer all my questions. A went with a 10 x 20 Lofted Barn with 7 ft walls. The roof adds more space as well to have plenty of room for tall items. Overall Matt was in and out with measurements. He called me when he got back to the yard, sent me photos of what style was discussed and then made arrangements for delivery. Overall the experience was quick, precise, and professional. I had my additional storage installed on site in less than a week. Overall quality of the barn is excellent in comparison to HD.

We bought a shed last year and they have absolutely failed to address our numerous issues with it. They did not install electric despite promising to, and then when we found out their efforts would not be up to code we asked them to leave it so the walls were removable with screws so we could have electric put in easily. They proceeded to liquid nail all the walls up so now our interior is patchwork just so we could have the amenities we were originally promised. Come to find out through winter that the pipes were not insulated from the exterior walls- more patchwork and a season of unusable plumbing. Now as we get nearing winter they have been entirely unresponsive to our issues and requests for help. This shed was so expensive and ended up costing us a ton more. DO NOT EVER get a shed here. They are incapable of producing sheds that are up to code and usable in central oregon, and they have proven time and time again to be unwilling to help us with the massive problems we have with this shed. This has been a total nightmare, I wish I'd just sent the shed back when it arrived with half the roof blown off in transit. What terrible work and seriously worse customer service. Negative stars.

This is an update 10 months after delivery. So very happy with this shed! 1) We opted for the engineered flooring. I just recently had to tap down a few nails, no biggie. This stuff has had no swelling or shrinkage and sweeps like a dream. 2) Definitely get a window and vents, this thing is well built and drafts don’t get through when closed up. 3) Get as big as you can afford, be it money or space. Cramming stuff floor to ceiling will make you realize you’re no better off than when it was all crammed in somewhere else. As we live in the woods, I sprayed it with insecticide while empty and it’s like walking into my house! If something happened to this one, I’d definitely replace with same. Highly recommend

This company USED to be fantastic with customer service and support! So good, in fact we have purchased twice from them. Fast forward to this past month and a half. NO customer service at all! We have left several messages, texts and have called several times and gotten excuses or zero response at all! We used to be able to call and were helped immediately. We have been trying for 6 weeks to get a shed moved and zero support! We finally had to pay a competitor to do it and guess what? Update after 12 months- the shed is not insuleted well enough at all! They said it would perform the same as any building for our climate. Our plumber put in insulated connected Pipestone the shed per county standard, the plumbing in the shed walls freezes in 20*F (we gdt so much lower temps here its basically unusable) and causes consistent problems with the laundru and wash rack. They failed on what they promised. Read the rest of review for more details, this has been a NIGHTMARE. TerribLe to work with and will not fix your problems.They made numerous errors, including the entire installation of the roof which blew off in transit to the property. They failed to install any of the electricity aspects including lights, heater, vent fan, etc. So we now have to install much of the electric ourselves or pay hefty rates for an electrician to do what should have already been done. The carpentry is mediocre and the doors are not done to our design specs. Neither is some of the other aspects to the shed. They have been unresponsive and ignored our concerns and requests for them to help us fix this. It was a very expensive shed and has caused us nothing but issues. Do not use thes guys for your shed. Even after attempts to fix some meager issues they sill left us with a shed that is not 4 season and cost us 30k. This was so much more expensive than what we got, even in this economy. I have had a lot of experience with salespeople in my life and I almost always feel like I need to search for an escape route during the process of buying. Not this time, in fact i was shocked to hear that Matt was not only the salesman but also the owner of the company ( old hickory sheds/titan building rentals ) in Redmond Oregon. I cant say enough about the wonderful service provided by Matt and his professionalism was over the top. Oh yeah did i mention he is only 25 years of age. First off, it is important to know, which we did not, that Central Oregon Sheds is a retailer for Dream Carports. They do not actually own the shed that you will purchase from them. This is a big issue as Matt Pillings, who told us he owns Central Oregon Sheds, can promise you anything he wants, but Dream Carports is the actual company you pay for the shed and they may disagree and not follow through with Matt’s promises.On may 10th 2021 we put our down payment on our shed. We were told by Matt Pillings at the time of our down payment that generic blueprints ALWAYS work for Deschutes County. On May 10th our quote was 17,608 for our building and we were told it would take 10-weeks maximum. When we submitted the permits Deschutes County was clear that they absolutely do not take generic permits. It then took 2-weeks for Matt to get back to us about this and 2-more weeks for him to confirm that we do need actual engineered blue prints. We were then told by Dream Carports that the permits would be another $770. At this point we asked Dream Carports what our options are to get our deposit back. They told us that we had to contact Matt and that he was not obligated to return the deposit. Since we were already into the building $2600 we decided to sign the contract to do this. Then 4 weeks later we were told that the engineers had contacted Deschutes County and there was another $3800 worth of increased fees due to Deschutes requirements. After contacting Matt Pillings and complaining and asking if he could help in any way, which he said he could not, and contacting Dream Carports and complaining about this, we were told that we had signed the agreement to pay (when we signed for engineering blueprints) and so we are obligated to do this. (Better read the fine print with this company).In total it took 19-weeks to get this building (9-weeks later than promised) and an extra $4500, than what our original contract was signed for. This company was the worst company we have ever dealt with. And we have built a home and dealt with many contractors. Central Oregon Sheds had horrible communication. Throughout this process we would call Matt, whose voicemail was always full. We would have to call several times, over the course of several days, before he would either answer or call us back. He would then promise to deal with it, and then never call us back. We would have to call over and over again before he would then get back to us again. This happened several times throughout this process. Take your business elsewhere so you don’t have to deal with all of the stress, and extra costs, that this company put us through.Service: Steel shed design & building

I ordered a shed from them but when I did they said I can cancel the order anytime before the shed was build. I canceled my order within the week I got it because a lot of family issues came up and I was no longer going to be able to move into my shed. So I called and canceled my shed order and I never got my money back as promised it’s almost been a year. Get your shed somewhere else. I’d give 0 stars if I could.

Communication was awesome up until the point they took a money deposit on our custom building design which I’m going to take a guess and say that is what the individual contractor selling the shed (this business) will be profiting from the building. Once this business had money in hand they have neglected to contact me in regards to status of my building which was supposed to be finished and delivered mid December in which I have called, emailed and texted with zero reply. After finally getting ahold of someone with Old Hickory Buildings (the parent company of this business) I ran into even more problems with the territory manager. Told me mid December from the beginning and then when I reached out on Dec 23 he said the building was complete and just waiting on delivery drivers to get back from Christmas vacations and someone would be reaching out to me on January 1 to schedule delivery. Fast forward to January 6th no one has contacted so I get back in touch with the territory manager after going through their corporate office again and he says that they didn’t have the double pane windows in stock so they are waiting on finishing the shed which was also, guess what, in fact a lie and the building hasn’t even started construction. What a horrible company and even bigger nightmare. Really needed this thing on time and it’s been troubling at minimum to see a business and people blatantly lie about things. Do yourself a favor and go to a locally owned business and not a corporate owned place like this.Service: Custom shed design
