We had no clue what to do when our dishwasher leaked and water flowed out under our flooring, and was dripping from the ceiling to the rooms below. But after reading some recommendations on Masters of Disaster, we gave these folks a call. They showed up the same day, and we felt like we instantly had some “friends” in the business. It’s never easy dealing with repairs while also living in one’s home, yet these guys made the very best of the situation. They were always courteous, communicated very well, and followed through with excellence. They explained how they would work with our insurance company as well, which was such a relief! All in all, the whole “disaster” is in the past now, with good memories of good people and a great outcome! Thanks to Nikolay, Travis & Lorin… also Morgan, Tyler, Dan and the rest of the crew!

Our experience with Masters of Disaster was outstanding in every way. From the beginning of our loss until the completion of our repair, we were kept current with all progress. Morgan was the first person I met on the team and she was VERY informative, walked me through all my questions along with being very supportive of the s I was facing. She continued to be someone I REALLY listened and heard my concerns and questions. Drew started the repairs the next day and was very respectful of my home and the problems being in my space to repair. He informed me what was going to happen and what I could expect. He cleaned up throughly and left me time for planning for a gathering i was having that weekend.

The team was quick to come clean up and dry out my water damaged house. They were able to replace all of my flooring, paint, drywall, and kitchen countertops in a timely fashion. Talking with other people using different companies, they had completion dates as far as 8 months out. The Masters were able to do a great job in just 2.5 months. Nick was able to coordinate his staff and contractors in an efficient and effective manner. Everyone was polite, clean, and respectful. I have 0 complaints about the work that was performed or the quality of the work. A week before Christmas 2022, a water pipe broke under our kitchen sink which destroyed most of the hard wood floors in our main living area, our daughters carpet in her room, the bathroom floor and vanity, the laundry room, a couple of kitchen cabinets and massive amounts of water in our Hvac. As stressful as this was for us, Masters of Disasters came in with prompt action not only to start drying our floors and crawl space but also to help get us settled into our 1st of many Airbnbs that we would live in for the next couple of months. Nikolay seemed to work endlessly with the insurance mediator and insurance company to get us money for those Airbnbs, with the first check in our account within 10 days. He worked diligently to get every single penny owed to us from this disaster and communicated with us every step of the way. Travis came in full force with a contagious smile that made us believe "it will all be ok". He's quick actions getting things dried out and inspected for mold was key to us and such a relief. Lorin, the Fung Shui master was able to listen to what we wanted and made every effort to design, within the space we had, a dream concept from what once was a massive nightmare. Every person on the team and every sub contractor did their jobs with respect to us and respect for the job that they were doing.Our experience with Masters of Disaster couldn't have been better. These guys rock!! I'm a business owner myself and am very careful on who I refer as it is a reflection on me and my business. We are a flooring store and from time to time we come a cross active water leaks caused by water supply lines for ice makers and dishwashers over flowing washing machines etc.. Every customer of mine that has used them has given them 5 stars and said they were a class act company and they made the dry out proses easy and worked with the insurance carrier and was able to streamline the entire project. We were out of state and Travis from Masters of Disaster came to rescue the kitchen. Water was spraying under the kitchen sink which caused cabinets and flooring to be soaked. He came in immediately and dried everything out, and saved the house from additional damage. He was great, kind, knowledgeable and met me ontime for appointments. He even met with the insurance adjuster for me. I hope I don't need them again, but they will be the first ones I call if a disaster happens at the house again. Travis absolutely rescued a dismal situation by cleaning up a bat infestation with very short notice to accommodate roofers who were racing the weather. He rearranged his schedule to collaborate with the bat excluder and roofers, showed up with a great friendly crew; prepared, cheerful and confident. While we are extremely happy with the timeliness of the our job being completed and the good work they did we were extremely dissatisfied with their overall billing responsiveness. We had wanted to submit our work to homeowners insurance and needed a itemized receipt. They had only ever given us the original quote and told us that was what we owed but we wanted a final bill that showed what work was done (I don’t know anyone that pays a quote?!) several weeks passed and we received a call reminding us to pay. We obviously wanted to pay but reminded them we still hadn’t received a final bill and wanted to submit to insurance. We also thought they may have received some payment from the closing of our house and they weren’t sure if they had and needed time to double check that…a few more weeks passed and we got a call from our realtor that he was contacted because we had “failed to pay” and they were going to take us to court if they didn’t received payment! We called them again and this time they were able to tell us that they did not get payed through closing and they don’t even write up claims for insurance! We were still told to pay the original quote which I find really odd and was adamant we receive a final bill. Work was done mid-August. It is now end of October and we just received our bill. I have no problem paying what is owed and wish we would have received final payment immediately upon completion of work. A quote is NOT a bill it is a estimate. I am very upset at a threat to take us to court when we had only been contacted twice and were very clear about what we needed. Our realtor was as well. Again, timeliness and work completed was fantastic but billing has been a nightmare!Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Can't say enough great things about this team. We had a refrigerator leak causing extensive damage in our kitchen and living room. We had delays with our original disaster relief company and called Masters of Disaster out of the blue and they came out the next day to mitigate and limit the damage. We also went through them to do the rebuild and they did a fantastic job top to bottom. Nik and his team were great! Had a pipe freeze on a Saturday and they were out within an hour to bring fans by to start the drying process. They came back Monday morning right on time, helped get furniture out of the way, and started pulling back the carpets, cutting out the drywall, etc to further assess the damage. I had a lot more damage than I thought I did. The crew explained what they were doing, approximately how long the process would take, were willing to do the reconstruction, and took care of all the insurance stuff as well. We had damage from a wind storm. The damage included our roof, a fence, irrigation system and some personal property. Our insurance company set us up with Masters of Disaster. They were on the job the next day. The downed tree was cleaned up and within a short amount of time all work was completed. The company was very good at communicating with us. We were extremely satisfied.
