The 3R’s Construction team did a great job on extensive repairs and remodeling of our farm house originally built in 1921 and its stand alone garage. This was a complicated job that included a new standing seam metal roof, a complete kitchen remodel, addition of two new bathrooms and remodel of a third, repair and rebuild of a portion of the foundation, replace all piping, extensive electrical work and full repainting of interior and exterior. They completed the job within their budget estimate. They were also a pleasure to work with, responsive, and enjoyable to interact with. Best Radon Remediation Company Ever! They are experts in the field. At the purchase of this home the radon was supposed to be fix. The prior contractor scammed the seller, not doing the work except throwing in a fan. We were at 7+ readings and had to get it fixed. We found 3Rs information on the Oregon Radon page. 3R's came in and got everything sealed, put in the correct barrier and the correct fans. They were always timely and professional. They were adamant on meeting industry standards. We are now happily below 2.0 every day. We are breathing with clean air now. We are so happy we found and hired 3Rs. Go with the best and stay away from the rest.

Duane, the owner, personally came and changed our locks and repaired our sliding glass door locking mechanism. He was professional and kind. He even cut PVC pipe to add extra security to our sliding glass doors. Duane knew that we needed to feel safe in our home and went above and beyond to ensure that we did. Their communication is very poor. They have the fake professionalism down really well, but if you ask them simple questions they get offended very easily.I called them asking about doing a sliding glass door install in a wall that didn't have one. I sent them a couple pictures and they gave me a quote of 20,000 dollars. Pretty high from my expectations, but I asked simply "20k for a sliding glass door?" and I originally sent them that email because I was pretty shocked at the prices and they sent like 4 invoices filled with a bunch of stuff I didn't understand. The guy replied but was pretty sarcastic and basically said yeah its more then just a door. I called them trying to get more details because speaking through email was obviously not going to inform me as to why it costs so much and they seemed to be taking what I said the wrong way. I then spoke with some one to just have some come out and look at the project and maybe we can discuss why it costs so much and I can be better informed. I setup the appointment with some one else and everything was good to go. Their secretary called later and was pretty condescending with me. She told me she could get some one to come out for an estimate in a couple weeks(after we kinda had a strange augmentative phone call) and then proceeded to schedule my estimate out 4 weeks. Then today she sent me an email saying she talked with the owner and now they don't want my business. I have no idea why they are so touchy when a customer just wants to know why they are charging so much. I am a software developer. I am not a construction worker. So maybe in the future you can actually explain things to people instead of being so sensitive?

They replaced 4 windows, new trim inside and outside, painted said trim. They did a wonderful job. My windows are beautiful. Dominic, Joe, Tom and Will are very pleasant, hard working and do excellent work. I have 2 more windows to replace and when I’m ready I’m having them back to do those. I cannot say my experience with this company was very good. The flooring is repaired and looks good, but my first issue is that we had requested quite a bit more work initially, and after the floor was complete the scheduler seemed confused why we were asking about the walls being repaired as well, which was brought up in our first email with them…After the floor was completed, we noticed our dryer outlet was no longer attached to the wall, and sparks were flying out of it! The worker had knocked it off the wall and did not notice, and when we contacted the company about the issue they ended up charging us for their workers mistake. But that all is the least of my issues. The final invoice came in, and it is well above and beyond any level of reasonable charging. To break it down, it cost over 2 grand to move a water heater and reinstall it. I could’ve bought a top of the line water heater, had it installed, and STILL save money!I think the minute they heard about us using insurance they just saw dollar signs and made up charges.Never working with them again and I wish I never did in the first place.Service: Repair flooring

Best service I've ever received from construction company! I really can't speak highly enough of this company and the individuals who work there. Then really stepped up and provided me with excellent service in a time of need. All of the crews went above and beyond to get my mitigation, demolition, and remodel done. I was very impressed with the finished product of my bathroom remodel! Every person I encountered at the company were very professional and knowledgeable. Ariah was incredible to work with, she was very on top of things, good at communicating, and over all a very kind person! Melissa was very personable and continued to advocate for me when dealing with the insurance company. I am very appreciative of all she did. Both Melissa and Ariah were awesome to work with and treated me like family throughout my whole experience.All and all, 3R's was a quality and professional choice. The estimate was non specific and 4 times higher than anyone else poorly written and not detailed. Abandon all hope ye who enter here...

Update......Huge mistake trying to work with this company. I should have trusted my first impression of them. They take your money and they do not provide you what you've paid for.Update: I received a call from Duane who had explained the reason for being unable to keep our scheduled appointment. I understand now that he has explained the unfortunate events and I appreciate his willingness to make it right. I am looking forward to working with them.I had scheduled a kitchen remodel estimate that was weeks out due to their limited availability. I had confirmed the appointment twice including the day before the appointment as my husband had to take the day off work. I received a call the morning of the appointment stating the project manager had called in sick and the appointment had to be rescheduled. This is a huge red flag about their business ethics and I am not interested in working with this company.

Do not use this company. After they found out I was using insurance they charged whatever they felt like and when asked to justify their charges I was told no and my insurance adjuster and I were hung up on. They charged almost double what insurance estimated the charges to be. The owner of the company called me hostile when I confronted him with this issue and told me everyone has bad days regarding the employee that hung up on my adjuster and I. I left a yelp review as well which is still in my review history but conveniently it doesn't show when you look their company up on Yelp. Red flags all around. I found myself in a position where we needed a contractor I could trust- and 3R’s came highly recommended. We had wind damage to my late father’s home four hours away from where I live, and dealing with the insurance issues and trying to oversee the work would be difficult at best. 3’R’s handled everything from start to finish, including the insurance negotiations! 3’R’s did exactly as they promised, and I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Duane and his crew at 3Rs are really top notch. We were not really expecting to have to tear our kitchen apart and re-model it, but that is how it played out. 3Rs had originally come to our house to clean up a mess under our house caused by some old pipes. The service itself was at a price that was hard to beat. When Dom had finished his work under our house, he noticed the water damage that had recently occurred from the dish washer in our kitchen. After a few pictures and a meeting with Duane, 3Rs was able to work with our insurance company to replace everything that was damaged, and then some. Duane and Casey worked with us, and around our schedule, to get everything done to our specifications. Our satisfaction was one of their main concerns, and that is something to appreciate.

After 21 years in our previous home, our family moved to Salem. Renovation of our newly acquired home was necessary to meet the needs of our family. We completely gutted and rebuilt the kitchen. This meant we basically had nowhere to prepare and store food, Duane and his team worked quickly and appliances that were installed first were the ones we needed most. In order to keep the dust down, our home clean, and protect our little dog, the work area was secured at the end of every work day. The end result is a kitchen that belongs in a magazine!In addition 3R's installed a kitchenette in our lower level and expanded a half bath into a gorgeous full bath while using a tight space very efficiently.3R's not only does renovations but has come when our home, that was empty for at least a year prior to our purchase, became riddled with huge spiders. He sent someone out very quickly and sprayed the house for both spiders and ants.3R's has also performed work cleaning and repairing our gutters; killing and cleaning moss from the roof; and repaired a burst pipe. For the burst pipe, we called late at night. Duane immediately helped us turn off the water by giving us instructions over the phone and then he and some of his crew came very quickly to bring fans, fix the problem, help clean, and call the insurance because all work is insured and guaranteed! 3R's has also pulled up carpet, cleaned the area under the house, installed new bathroom hardware, and installed all our light fixtures.Needless to say Duane, Tammy, and crew have been a God send to a family that has been ripped off in the past and have been left feeling unsatisfied. When working with 3R's you become part of the family. We knew every person's name as they were introduced at the door. You are treated with respect, care, and they realize how much is costs YOU to go through a renovation. They are a truly caring, careful, and quality company that we will use, probably, forever.
