If you are looking for a high-quality design and remodel firm, you need look no further than C&R.We can't thank C&R enough for the smooth planning and construction process and beautiful outcome of our kitchen remodel project. From the very first on-site visit with Sam through to the final walk through with Beth and Rex, we always felt we were in good hands. Beth and her team developed a very thoughtful, creative and functional design consistent with the character of our 115year-old house, all while working within a challenging existing footprint and adhering to budget constraints.Due to their many years in business, C&R has established relationships with some of the best trades in the area. All subcontractors on this project, were pleasant to be around, outstanding craftsmen and took pride in their work. Our lead carpenter, Mark was our main contact during the construction phase. He is a gentleman and a artisan. Mark kept us apprised of the planned schedule, when subs were going to be onsite, answered our questions and was always on top of any issue that came up. In addition to Mark's updates, we had access to Builder Trend, an interactive project management and scheduling site and were able to monitor project status there. Thanks to Beth (designer), Ed (lead contractor) and the tradesmen who were involved in the recent remodel of my bathrooms and laundry room. Beth and Ed listened to my needs/wants and made them happen. The trades people C&R used were prompt, polite and did excellent work. If something wasn’t exactly as I expected (which was very rare), I just mentioned it to Ed and it was addressed promptly and without fuss. I also knew, day-to-day, what would be occurring so I could plan around it.Being a busy person (aren’t we all!), my objective with this project was to hire a company that I could share my needs with and then trust them to do an excellent job with minimal oversight from me. That is exactly what I got! I work from home and other than a brief progress report each day from Ed, I was left to my own work and they went about theirs. We hired C&R to remodel our 1950s kitchen and bring it into the 21st century. They were an amazing company throughout the whole process from bid and design to construction and final product. Beth and Sam were super easy to talk with and always made sure our needs were met. In order to stay within budget, C&R allowed us to do some of the work, such as demo, painting, and tile, which was really important to us. The website they use to track projects was great as well, you always knew what subcontractor would be there everyday and what work would be completed. Our Remodel consisted of full master bath Remodel, master bedroom update and two other bathroom flooring updates. Everything from initial consultation to final review was top notch. Beth and the design team were great to work with. It was interesting to change things real-time in the modeling tool to see how they would look in the final product. That was a great tool. Terry was great to work with during the build. He worked with our schedule and 2 dogs so well. Terry ensured that the rest of our home was kept blocked off so the remodeling mess didn't find its way to the rest of the house. Terry, Sam and Beth always got back to us quickly when we had comments or questions. The whole experience was set up so professionally by C&R to really reduce the stress normally felt during a Remodel such as ours.
