We recently had our pergola replaced but unfortunately the company we hired left us with a complete mess of a job. The large columns, which are really the focus point were re-created using flimsy boards which apparently weren't attached properly and within a couple of weeks the boards and panels were coming apart. We called Kraft and worked with Robert and Dave. We really appreciated their professionalism and friendliness. They told us what could be salvaged from the prior job and proceeded to replace the columns and other parts of the pergola with quality materials that look amazing, are sturdy, and match the columns we have around the rest of our home. We were kept up to date on progress and while the old job created a few challenges Dave kept at it until he could fix it correctly. They did not try to rush it. We are extremely happy with the finished product and can't thank Kraft enough! (I'm posting a photo but it hasn't actually been painted yet - it will look even better when it's painted!)Service: Exterior structural repairs

Kraft Custom Construction exceeded my expectations with my kitchen remodel. Robert and Emma were accommodating without compromising craftsmanship in having taken over a projects started by another contractor. Their organization, clarity of costs, construction time-line calendar, and constant conversation left no questions unanswered and there were no surprises that often accompany construction. I was informed throughout the whole process, prior to contract signing to post-completion, and had constant input into my needs and wants. When we bought our house in 2021 we knew we wanted to do some work to elevate it even more than it had been by the previous two owners, but the prospect of finding the right contractor to help us accomplish what we were hoping for was quite daunting, to be honest. My wife and I had practically no experience doing any significant remodeling, and often you hear horror stories about people's experiences with remodels and contractors. NOT THE CASE WITH KRAFT AT ALL. From the very first discovery meeting both Emma and Robert Kraft actually listened to what my wife and I were wanting to accomplish, rather than leading the charge with all of things they thought could be done (which happened more often than we honestly expected with contractors we interviewed). Kraft also followed through on all of their promises of deliverables before we agreed to move forward, which set a clear tone that they are professionals that are organized and on top of things (and this was met 100% throughout the actual project once it started). What we ultimately wanted was a partner that mitigated as many of the stresses that come with something like this as possible, set proper expectations, communicated clearly, listened, executed at a high level, and cared as much about our home as we do, and I can say without any doubt we got all of that. Money VERY well spent.If we do more work on our house in the future, we will absolutely be calling Kraft and will happily wait until they can fit us in, because we know that their entire team (their immediate team and subs) will care as much about our project as us and totally deliver on what we want. In case you only read the first line, let me start with: 100% you should work with Kraft Custom Construction. Before we found Kraft, we had hired another contractor for our big home remodel project(about 700sq ft of unfinished space in a home we purchased last year including a bathroom, bedroom, hallway, and bonus room) it didn't go well with the first company. While the bid from Kraft was higher than the other three I got, it was also clearer and more realistic. They know what they're doing and what it will actually take to get the job done. The systems Kraft has in place, the transparency and high level communication, the support & care from everyone involved, the urgency around problem solving, and the attention to detail & craft will absolutely bring us back for our next project. Did I mention they finished two weeks sooner than planned! I can't say enough positive things. We have used Kraft Custom Construction for two major remodeling projects, and are completely pleased with not only the end product, but the process as well. Our first project was the remodel of two bathrooms and one powder room. The project was completed AHEAD of schedule and on budget. In addition, KCC created temporary quarters for our bedroom, located in our living room, which worked on very well and they even moved our furniture. The experience was creative, in that, as a design/build, KCC brought in an experienced designer so that our master bath was converted to an "accessible" facility, complete with roll in shower and a comfort height "throne." The second project was up dating our windows. Simple you say, well yes, KCC made it that way, for they did a forensic analysis of the design of our exterior walls. The result, a perfect fit, without having any interior work. We really enjoy working with every member of the KCC team.

I did a minor kitchen remodel with Kraft Custom Construction and they delivered exactly what they said they would, in exactly the budget we agreed on and even finished a little early. Their follow through was also very good as they returned a week later to modify a cabinet that I was having trouble with.Don't consider your search for a contractor complete until you get a bid from Kraft
