Four years later, the salesman returned and this time I did need a new roof. Their prices might be a bit higher than others but if you want quality work, it is worth it. Their estimate was correct for the work they did. They scheduled the job in a timely fashion and completed it in one day. As I was home at the time I carefully observe the work from afar and have no complaints about the quality of craftsmanship or materials used. They did a fantastic job and they cleaned up the debris afterwards. They are not the cheapest roofers in town but I believe that in cases of such important projects it's important not to skimp on quality. When they had removed the old roof they took the time to show me where plywood needed to be replaced and the water damage that they found. Every question I had about materials and application they took the time to answer me honestly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know who needs a roof and I've already recommended them in several cases. Prior to replacing my roof, I had them repair some damage that resulted in leaks and none of them leaked even five years after their repair. That's why I chose them when it was time to do the whole roof and that's why I would recommend them; they do good work. If you come across this review years later and I have not added an addendum about a leak that later happened you can know that their work stood up, because I would definitely come back and add that. They were very responsive from the first call. They set a time quickly to assess the situation. We needed roof repair on the garage and roof replacement for the entire house. Provided estimate in February and were accommodating to schedule the work in the first week of April per our request. Completed the work as scheduled in two days per estimate. Already had a neighbor comment on how good the roof looks. He also said he is retired and was watching the work being completed. He said "Boy, those guys kept working nonstop the whole time." We own a house with a slate roof so it's extremely important to us to get it looked at every year. We have used Paul Wright Roofing for about 8 years and every year, they have been wonderful. We regretted hiring Paul Wright, very disappointed at the quality of work and felt like we were scammed hence we need to call out this irresponsible vendor. We have water leaks at a few spots on our roof recently and our property manager hired Paul Wright. The cost was $5800 to perform at least 5 patches. After the repair, the same spots on the roof were still leaking and we received the same complaints from tenants. The patches seem to be done terribly and I could still see cracks. The tar and mesh weren't applied properly. I called them back but the rep Barry looked confused and didn't know which spots were patched, he mentioned about repairs that they never did and kept saying we have to replace the whole roof. He said we have to pay $500 to ask their employee who did the repair to point out the spots that they repaired, we find it ridiculous to pay someone to show us the spots that weren't repair properly. He also kept saying we have to replace the whole roof. This sounds very fishy to us. We hired another contractor to perform the repairs at the same few patches for much less and the leaks stopped right away, we don't have any leaks since then. It should have been a simple repair but the work they performed was shoddy, they didn't take responsibility, bad customer service and their strategy for doing a bad job was to blame customer for not hiring them to replace the roof. One patch that they did, they used tar over the rubber which was an amateur move. Tar will eat into rubber so that area is going to have some other issues in the futures. We did ask opinions from other roofers and other roofers who saw the repair work said that their work was terrible. I sent an email to their office but never heard back. We are going to file complaints with the state.Service: Roof repair

Customer facing representatives leave me no choice, but to guess at the following... either management has no clue how their sales folks handle their customers, or they are picking and choosing jobs more profitable to them and ignoring less profitable requests. My experience is similar to an attempted used car purchase ...before even scheduling the work, they tried to set up an appointment with a 2nd sales person with presumably more financial experience. After 3 weeks of contacting them, I still did not have the opportunity to schedule roof replacement, because they did not follow up as promised to have me speak with the finance guy (2nd sales guy) for supposed 0% financing if qualified. They know I'm trying to prevent further damage to my home.. I ended up getting 2 other quotes, in a shorter amount of time, that were significantly lower in price. 2 stars because they did a great job with repair in the past. However, there is no good excuse for my attempted roof replacement experience. Communication with the customer was poor, and they did not repect my wasted time.

I had a tile roof repaired by Paul Wright Roofing. It took some time, but mostly to source the tiles, which is common right now with a lot of things. The estimator was up front about the potential time it would take to do the work. Once they had the tiles work was done quickly and professionally. The old saying goes that "you only get one chance to make a good first impression"! Well with Paul Wright Roofing I found that out the minute I made a phone call to get an estimate, as on the second ring my call was promptly answered by a very pleasant lady who very courteously asked me how she could help me, when I told her that I wanted to get an estimate on an issue I had with my roof, she answered with dates and times she had available for someone to come out and look at my roof! Talking about professionalism, organization, service, and first impressions! Well the rest is history, the estimator came over on the date and time I chose, the estimate was reasonable, I was put on their schedule and a couple of weeks later the roof was repaired to my satisfaction, what else can you ask for? The men worked very hard and efficiently on the roof, especially after discovering they had to rip off five previous roofs and replace damaged wood underneath. They covered up our patio and yard to avoid any damage. Everything was cleaned up before they left. The foreman showed me photos of the damaged roof and kept me informed on the progress of the job. After hearing on a radio ad that no job was too big or small I had a toolshed roof replaced. Even though more materials were required than thought the price remained the same.When I needed my home's roof replaced, based on the toolshed experience and recommendations from my neighbors, I contacted Paul Wright.From the initial phone call for a quote to the eventual work, every person I spoke with was professional and ersonable, and did exactly what they said they would do.My concerns were addressed:- strong chance of rain mitigated by adding crew and expanding hours for install- extensive plantings around house protected by tarpsIn the end I found a couple scraps of old tar paper and two nails and that was it. I was very specific in telling this company that the entire back portion of the roof was leaking. I was given an estimate for $3750 which I agreed to.They only worked on a small portion of the roof. When I complained about the continuing leaks, I was given another estimate of $4000 to work on the remaining section of the roof, which I had thought was included in the first estimate.In the meantime, the portion they had worked on continued to leak. Rather than throw good money after bad, I decided not to do any further business with Paul Wright Roofing.Very slow to respond to calls, very poor communication, and ineffective workmanship.I do not recommend this company.
