Terrible Workmanship. YR later the siding is all buckled, under the front porch all waving. See pictures apparently James got upset when he realized he mistakenly misquoted the job and we paid the ultimate price for very crummy work.Much of this will need to be redone $38k + later. There was a One man Crew for weeks before another guy came to help- No one spoke English. NO SUPERVISION- they took alot of short-cuts. Shoppers beware!!!**Watch them when completing the Roof** They didn’t properly tyvex the roof before installing shingles- Luckily my husband caught them & insisted they correct.**we supplied Tyvex & Dumpsters to help him**. Very disappointed. All the roughins were completed before you came in to do the Siding. Don’t lie about your One Man Job.

Reliance Restorations replaced the roof on our house and garage. Its proposal was the most complete and lowest cost of the four re-roofing proposals we received, all from highly qualified roofing contractors. The job entailed removing two layers of roofing material, the bottom layer comprising the original, 100-year-old shingles, installation of a new plywood roof deck throughout and applying the new roofing system on top of that. This could have created a holy mess, but instead it created almost none due to the way that debris was handled. The quality, speed, and efficiency that characterized the work on this job was remarkable, as was the responsiveness of Reliance's owner, James Kim - and I'm saying this as an architect.Reliance used every time-saving tool and piece of equipment available to keep the job moving, without compromising quality. The workers were obviously experienced at what they were doing, and worked tirelessly - even into the evening - to complete the sections of roof on which they were working. A job that I thought would take more than a week was done in just under four days. Mr. Kim was a pleasure to work with, always positive, never hesitating to work with us constructively to address unforeseen issues. All in all a positive experience, and we are more than satisfied. I recommend this firm highly.

I am writing this review almost a year later after having our new roof last through Hurricane Ida, several tropical storms, record rainfall, and a long, cold winter. The new roof James and his team installed on our home is superb. We experienced zero issues over the past year and we can tell it is from the quality of workmanship James and his team provides. Working with James and his team was an absolute pleasure. They showed up early to our home in NJ and left our yard pretty much spotless when they were finished. James is easy to talk to, answered all of our questions, and priced our roof fairly unlike many other quotes we received through the pandemic. We'll always recommend James whenever we can. It is a great pleasure for me to give a five-start review to Reliance Restorations. The original person I hired to put a new roof on my house kept giving me excuses for putting me off, then said he wouldn’t work for me and would return my money…except he didn’t. Three months after all this he is now under arrest and awaiting trial for contractor fraud.With that as my reference, Reliance Restorations’ conduct was most welcome. James Kim, the owner, is extremely reliable and professional. He gave me a very reasonable price—better than any of the other companies who gave me an estimate. Within days his crew was at my house and by 8:00 that night the job was finished. The new roof looks great. James made it all seem very simple. I cannot recommend this company enough for its price, reliability and quality of workmanship!

After some due diligence, multiple quotes, and meetings with different companies. I ended up choosing Reliance Restorations and I am happy that I did. James was very accommodating and professional when we met. He made me feel extremely comfortable about the quality of his work and knew that I wouldn't be disappointed. I’d give this company 10 stars if I could. I’m so glad I found James’s company to install our new roof. James was very helpful throughout the process. He was literally a text or a call away at all times. I was looking for someone who was not going to rip us off and a local business from our community. Before signing the contract, James patiently answered all our questions and addressed all our issues with the old roof. He had promised us two days for the entire 3600 sq ft project because we have little kids and the job was done in 1.5 days. He made sure he stopped by every few hours to check in on the progress of the roof and he’d give me an update in person or through text. Our new roof looks phenomenal. His crew was very polite, punctual and very hardworking. The first day they stayed back even after it got dark cleaning up the property. Highly recommend this company if you’re looking for a reliable and reasonable roofer.

This is the second time we've used Reliance Restorations for roofing. The roof is two years old now and still looks brand new. Part shingle, part torch down on a flat section of roof. Fair prices, no pressure sales and James is the most responsive professional I've ever worked with. He personally picked up stray nails from the project. Job was done with no issues. Workman cleaned up everything leaving no mess. Workman were very pleasant to deal with. Owner (James) came by several times to explain what the workman were doing and how it protects the roof. Overall this job was handled professionally with no problems. How many times during your lifetime do you hire a workman/installer and have no idea who it is you are hiring . You take a chance ! You pray they are honest , experienced , do excellent work and have reasonable prices . Today , I hired Reliance Restorations LLC FOR A ROOF REPLACEMENT ! They were a 20 star company ! They started at 7:00 am and continued until they finished replacing the entire roof at 6:30 pm . They left my property CLEANER than it was before they came . Their workmanship was impeccable . Their employees were courteous and respectful to my wife and I and of our property . Their owner , James Kim is a gentleman who explains everything making sure you understand what he is about to do to make you 100% happy . As an example one of the skylights we purchased was discovered broken when opened and Mr. Kim drove two hours to get a new one so we would be 100% covered for an upcoming rainstorm . A few months ago we decided to change our siding from stucco to vinyl. After doing extensive research online and receiving a few estimates- we settled on Reliance Restorations. We're glad we did- The price was reasonable compared to the quality of work. Our consultant was super patient with us and took the time to explain the various siding options. The contractors were punctual and we now have new siding we will enjoy for years to come.We will eventually need to replace our roof and will be in touch.

Car drove through my house. Damage was so extensive even the roof was displaced. It was raining and I needed a roofer immediately. I found Reliance on the web and called. James (the owner) was understanding and at my house that day to get a tarp put on. The roof couldn't be repaired until the wall was, and by that time it was winter. James made sure the tarp would hold and got me on his schedule for early spring. Meantime I got 2 other estimates and the price was in line with all 3. He showed up with his crew when promised and the job was done by 3:00 pm. He's even bending over backwards to accommodate me with insurance needs and I really appreciate it. Roof looks great and I'd definitely recommend Reliance to anyone.
