Recommended from a friend to do great work. I was up front that I have a toddler and it would be hard to do the work on days she is here. I explained she is at daycare Monday Wednesday Friday. It takes me a month to paint the trim and he said I said two weeks. I explained it is difficult to get things done with a two year old around. He calls to schedule and says it is Thursday. He never asked to have me to confirm the day just scheduled it with his "boss" . I explained I still have a toddler to feed and she needs to nap he basically said that's too bad. Then he tells me to find another person to do the job.

Jim is a very professional contractor. We had a wall knocked down and they took pristine care of the inside of our home. They took time to build temp walls and used a zipper tarp system to keep the rest of our home dust free. We had a few issues with our hvac and Jim was very knowledgeable with all the issues we had. Jim and his crew were able to do all the work themselves without having to hire other subcontractors for any electrical or hvac work. Jim’s knowledge saved us hundreds of dollars. We were so pleased with his work that we had him install our outdoor fence as well. Jim and his crew worked vigorously in the heat to ensure our fence was done in a timely manner. Throughout both jobs Jim was very professional and informative the entire time. We have and will continue to refer Kilmer construction to anyone looking for a general contractor.Service: Remodeling

We called Kilmer Const. because we had a leak coming from the roof area and into our livingroom. Jim and his crew looked at a few different areas to pinpoint where it was coming from. Found that it was the siding on the dormer. He stopped the leak, and repaired the damage in our plaster ceiling. The repaired area matches great.. He did outstanding work. Was always on time and answered all questions from the initial estimate until the work was finished. We definitely recommend.

Kilmer Construction Is AWESOME!!!!! Great Business !! I had both my bathrooms gutted and redone , Back deck built, All new flooring throughout the house. I also had water damage in my basement and the owner replaced all the plumbing and rotted studs and sheetrock. I am very happy with the finished look done by the owner and i couldn't have picked a better contractor!!! Called for quote- made appointment for 2pm never showed up - called him multiple times and got back to me and called hours later to tell me he had to take care of his bed bug issue at home - very nasty over the phone and ball parked the price out the field with out seeing the job. Will go elsewhere
