I can't say enough about how great Pro Tree Services is. It started with Rich coming out to give an estimate. He was prompt and thorough. He explain how the tree could be taken down. There was no pressuring and the price was good. It only took an hour and a half to take the tree out. The yard was cleaned like they weren't there and the tree gone. Another crew came and grounded the stump out. They were as good as the first crew. No mess at all, I was very satisfied with the service. I highly recommend Pro Tree Services.

After getting an odd request from an insurance company to remove a very LARGE tree to avoid future claims, I contacted a friend who highly recommended Protree. I hated to have to remove this shade tree . The very next day, Rich from Protree came out. He was quick to respond & gave me quite an education regarding this very LIVE tree, as well as other large trees needing potential work in a few years. He was super thorough & was able to provide me a detailed written certification & quote for PRUNING back the tree within the hour. He not only addressed my concerns quickly but also provided me a VERY fair & reasonable quote, that I accepted. The Protree team was great in scheduling me quickly, keeping me in the constant loop of any changes as it was winter & snowing on several of the scheduled days. The crew came out & their foreman went over all the details prior, assuring me that he would address everything in the contract & assuring me I’d be happy with the end result. The crew was a well oiled machine while taking great care in protecting other surrounding trees as well as the property in general. The team was in & out in no time and had the property looking spotless, better than when they showed up! My experience with Protree was commendable. They’re professional, friendly, conscientious & efficient. I will certainly use them for all my future tree issues. I would highly recommend them to anyone! A++

They always kept us informed with updates and if we had any questions they were quick to get back to us with an answer. The crew that came out to cut down our three trees were awesome! Pro Tree has been awesome! I had Pro Tree for emergency clearing from a bad storm very large live trees came down tearing all electrical wires from pole to pole and pole to electrical box from my home. Pro Tree cleared everything and all the very large trees and debris in the same day so we could get an electrician here and for us to be able to leave our home. Trees also had to be removed from our vehicles.Pro Tree has really come through for us!We have had Pro Tree return for other clean up and have had a great experience.Thanks to Rich and the crew. Rich has come out to our property for several projects over the years and always takes the time to listen to our concerns and explain what the project will entail before sending over a detailed quote that explains the project upfront so there are no surprises. We had a massive tree that was visibly dead and had a few quotes. The quotes person was very honest and the only way to remove the tree was for a crane to carry pieces over my house. As terrifying as this is, Pro Trees did an impeccable job of removing and cleanup. Compared to other quotes, their price was reasonable as well. I would recommend and definitely use them again.

Exceptional job! We have two large oak trees that hang over a busy road and the ProTree team did an excellent job moving quickly and working exceptionally well with the traffic. They cleaned up the yard perfectly- clearing every branch as they worked and left our front yard looking even better than when they arrived. Would absolutely hire again!

We have used Pro Tree Services for a number of times; each time Rich their Arborist has provided detailed information that has been very helpful in understanding the scope of the work that is involved. They are reasonable for the work they do that is pretty involved when removing a big heavy tree that includes stump grinding & removal. We'd highly recommend them as they don't seem to have gouging level of pricing. In 2023 we may have spent over $5,000 with them as we had over 5 trees that fell.

These guys impressed me from start to finish on the whole job for us. We needed a dying and rotted tree removed underneath power lines in the back of our fenced-in back yard, which could be kind of a tricky job, but not for Pro Tree Services. They did a free estimate which came in at a better price than everyone else, easy and flexible scheduling, and quick to respond the whole way through. Their crews were professional, courteous, and QUICK. The tree removal and stump grinding happened over two appointments and they spent maybe a total of 30 minutes in my yard between the two of them, and each day they left our yard as clean as it was before they were there. Great experience from beginning to end! Rich (the estimator) was honest, knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive. The team removed 4 very large (about 5-6 feet diameter) trees from the back yard over a neighbor's yard. It was a well choreographed ballet between the guy attaching the sling and lopping off great chunks of tree, the crane operator, who maneuvered these chunks out of the yard and onto the ground, and the ground crew who promptly ground then into truckload after truckload of mulch. They estimated 2 days for the job, and finished in one. They made our yard, the neighbor's yard and the street cleaner than it was before they started! They were also very careful with our neighbor's driveway and property. I would not hesitate to hire Pro Tree for our next tree removal.

Rich was extremely informative and friendly. He well explained the issues with our yard and understood that we were looking to form a long standing relationship due to the nature of our project. He was also able to provide the best price for the service as we contacted several other local tree-trimming/removal providers.His team did an amazing job in increasing the safety of our yard and our home. Initially I was so impressed with Pro Tree. They came out quickly and did a fabulous job cutting up and removing our downed tree. However, part of the bid included removing the stump. They have said they were coming twice now with a no show. Unfortunately I paid them for the completed job. Hoping it gets done soon so I can give them 5 stars again.

I removed my original review after I was asked to remove it in exchange for a service credit. The original review was 1 star and spotlighted a lot of the shortcomings that Unprotree services exhibited during their work at my property. (Trash left, tools left, using my property without asking for their own convenience, and leaving hazardous holes as deep as 10 inches in the yard). An attempt was made to fix the holes (only after I called myself and reminded them of the mess that they left) in my yard and a free stump removal was credited as an apology. However I still have dangerous hazards in my yard after 2 cleanup attempts and I do not want unprotree services to return.This company cannot or will not communicate to the site workers that when soil is poured, it must be tamped down. Then, typically more soil needs to be poured and tamped again after the initial settling. Skipping one or more of these steps results in quicksand pits. Especially when we've endured the amount of rain that this summer has brought.I didn't think it was uncommon knowledge but when you dump soil and don't tamp it/let it settle, the hole will remain. Unprotree services are just lucky no one got hurt. Unfortunately all the good will that they did indeed show in apology to the inconvenience and the laziness or lack of awareness from the site workers is undone when my yard becomes a mine field of holes filled with loose soil that someone with less perfect knowledge could roll or break and ankle if stepped in.UPDATED 8/25/2023Sounds like you're quite proud of yourself for hoodwinking a woman in her sixties. If any recommendations were spoken about your services it was a month ago. BEFORE she got outside to discover the holes herself. And BEFORE you guys had 2 chances to prove you don't take property damage seriously whatsoever. Frankly I feel bad for Jim who obviously wanted to to do the right thing but the company wouldn't let him deliver dirt that I could use to fill the hole myself. Unfortunately its true that they did use way too much dirt. If they used a wheelbarrow and shovels instead of just dumping loads with a backhoe, you probably could have gotten it done in one trip and not wasted half of the dirt you used to rain runoff. Here's a novel idea. Take property damage seriously and train your workers to take it seriously too.And don't break your arm patting yourself on the back too hard for fooling an older woman who doesn't have time or energy to inspect your handiwork the way that I did.Services: Tree stump grinding, Tree stump removal, Tree removal

We had so much tree work done in one day by ProTree. They were extremely efficient, careful, skilled and nice on top of everything. The estimator gave a very detailed list of the scope of work which the top notch crew went through methodically.The final cleanup left our property better than when they arrived. Huge equipment was brought in and nothing damaged in the process. We highly recommend this company.

We reached out to Rich from ProTree on a Sunday afternoon when we noticed something strange with one of our trees. Although I was just getting it checked off my list and didn’t expect to hear back on a weekend, Rich emailed me back right away and had the office call on Monday to schedule quickly. He stood in the rain and talked me through what’s happening with a few of our trees and what to look for in the future that would be cause for concern. We’re so appreciative of his time and sharing his knowledge. We’ve worked with ProTree in the past to remove a couple of trees (one diseased, one almost on top on the house) and wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.

We live in Chester County on a very wooded lot, and have used Pro Tree Services for several years. They are very responsive. Recently we experienced a major storm resulting in 8 tree falling, one of which crushed our heat pump resulting in no heat. I called our salesperson who came out immediately, that day he arranged an emergency crew to clear the debris on and around the heat pump so the heating contractor could install a new heating system. Additionally we had 3 huge poplar trees threatening to squash our house. The next day a big crew arrived with two trucks and lots of equipment to remove the terrifying trees and others. The crew needed little direction they all knew what to do, it was fun and a bit scary to watch. This company is very experienced, organized, and fun to work with.

Rich from Pro Tree is very professional. He reviewed the job promptly (removing four large trees that required extracting them over our house), provided a very reasonable estimate, and explained in detail what the job entailed. Because the job required a very large crane, I was concerned about possible damage to our driveway, landscaping, hardscaping, and our geothermal system with piping running under the driveway. Rich was meticulous in writing up the estimate, providing detailed instructions to the crew. The Pro Tree crew, including the talented crane operator, arrived exactly when scheduled. I relayed my concerns to the onsite crew leader and crane operator. They listened patiently and explained how they would do the job and all the precautions they were taking. They were very efficient and each crew member was very professional. The job went faster than I anticipated and they left the property cleaner than when they arrived. I'm happy to recommend Pro Tree to anyone, especially when the job is complicated and requires one of the region's largest crane and experienced crane operator.

Horrible company to do business with! They did a great job cutting down my tree but then broke my neighbors front storm door and never came back to repair it. Multiple phone calls no resolution. I ended up having to replace the door on my own. They broke it while grinding the stump.

We hired Pro Tree to do some tree work. They had to take down a very large beech tree that was dying and had to trim 2 other trees. Jose and his team went above and beyond with their expertise. Jose did a beautiful job shaping the two remaining trees. The young men were so different and cleaning up with a wonderful attitude to boot. We are very very happy. Thank you!
