We recently purchased an old house with a slate roof. Reportedly the roof had been "maintained" plus repairs were done just before our purchase. That work was poor & incomplete at best. Joe came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate to replace 35 tiles & coat the metal valley with a polymer, not the inappropriate tar used previously. He even stuck to the original quote after finding additional damaged slates. I will only use Amato Roofing for my own house and as a Realtor highly recommend them to my clients. Thanks Joe!

My mother has been waiting for these guys to come out and do her gutters. And for months they hadn’t gave her any updates or a time frame. And just yesterday after waiting for months l, my mother gets a letter from the owner stating that she is receiving her refund back and the letter stated that they couldn’t do her job for her that they are busy.. and then he even tried to say that they tried to come over to do it one day but the neighbor wasn’t there or some bs excuse. My mother’s the one who hired them not the neighbors. And the neighbors gave permission already prior to that. So the owner is full of it and full of excuses. Its really irritating that they didn’t give any heads up. If u make a deal for a job you stick with it. If not give a heads up. Not months down the road.. I’m sure there’s other great roofing companies out there that won’t be full of lies and excuses.

They did a great job repairing and maintaining the steep slate roof on my mom's victorian home. Not all roofers want to deal with slate. Good rates too.
