I contracted with CORE Roofing for the installation of siding on my house. I gave the company a down payment of $7,238.25. The company told me that it couldn't obtain from suppliers the necessary materials to do the project. I canceled the project and asked the company to return my down payment. The company didn’t return it. I filed a civil complaint in my Magisterial district court to recover my down payment. The company and I settled out of court. The company has given me a payment schedule to return my down payment. I will update this review each time I receive a payment.

I worked with Matt at CORE Roofing and was blown away by my experience. He met with me in person to review the options for my roof and educated me on what would be best for my situation. I felt extremely comfortable with the process and have been happy with the results. When I had a leak arise in an adjacent part of the roof that he didn't work on he and his team came out and diagnosed the issue quickly and provided quick service to prevent further damage. Overall, we had a very positive experience with CORE. We replaced our roof and 3 skylights and were very pleased with the cost and materials. The roofers themselves were very quick and cleaned up materials afterward. Two of the three skylights had to be replaced with a model different than the original (as it was no longer sold) which required a bit more aesthetic repair on our part after the initial caulking they did. It has been a couple months and the roof seems to done well and we actually had a neighbor use CORE shortly after our install.

Great job, at a much lower cost. I obtained 3 quotes from my roofing job and CORE was 30-50 percent less than other companies for the same exact roof. Justin was great through the whole process, Tyler did a great job answering any questions and making sure we were satisfied. Matt the owner seems to really care about the customer and making a good name for the company. Highly recommended.

Our home suffered some storm damage, including losing some shingles on the roof. We received a referral to Matt and CORE Roofing from a trusted friend and they did not disappoint! Compared to the size of the roof, I felt like the number of lost shingles was relatively small, but after performing the free roof inspection, Matt explained that even many of the surrounding shingles which remained intact had been flipped up and would not be able to sustain repair. He fully outlined our home owner's insurance process and I was well prepared to explain the details of our damage to my claim representative. Matt met with the insurance inspector and was able to explain and negotiate a generous, but fair scope for the work that was required. It feels rare that something as daunting as replacing a roof could feel like a happy experience, but Matt and the CORE Roofing team's responsiveness, materials and workmanship, and hand-holding throughout the process truly made this a joy, resulting in the peace of mind of a solid and attractive roof over our beloved home. Core came by and helped us with our insurance claim. We had them referred by our neighbor who had work done. At first insurance didn't pay all of our siding. Only our roof. Craig felts was our project manager and handled the entire claim process. Something didn't want to have to do. I am thrilled to say we have a new roof and our new siding just started a couple days ago and looks great! Highly recommend these guys.

Core recently installed our new roof and did a tremendous job. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and did it in a timely fashion with no hiccups. Great hard working crew who completed our job in one day, made sure to protect our landscaping, cleaned up quite nicely, and came back a second time to make sure no nails were left behind. CORE roofing came to the rescue during a recent hailstorm. Not only did Matt, owner, handle all of the insurance communication, he successfully negotiated, on our behalf, for MUCH more than they initially offered to settle the claim. When all was completed, we had a brand new roof, new decking (Matt was able to convince the insurance to cover this), and new siding. My neighbors commented on how professional CORE was and wished they had decided to go with them instead. Next time! Thanks CORE for all of the great work on site and behind the scenes! At first I was extremely upset that the "builder grade" shingles on my 10 yr old home in West Chester were damaged beyond repair causing a leak. I wish the builder used a more quality product.But Matt Parker and his team at Core did an outstanding job from beginning to end. The process went smoothly. Communication before and during installation was handled well. The installation crew looked as professional as they can dress while working on a roof all day. They also did great job including site clean up. Quality job all the way around. I am extremely happy with the quality of my Owens Corning roofing system.

BEWARE: We have had a TERRIBLE experience with Core Roofing and Restoration in Downingtown, PA. It has been over 2 years now that they have had our insurance money. It took SO long for anyone to get any colors to us for roofing and siding that the color I chose for our roofing became discontinued. I had to go to a supplier to get MY OWN siding and roofing colors after repeatedly calling trying to get these given to us. By the time I finally got my own siding color swatches, the Covid shut down happened. Now the owner, Matt Parker, is trying to blame shipping and supply issues for the reason we still don't have our job done, yet he cannot produce ANY work orders back ordered or otherwise to back up the fact that he states he ordered our siding back in August not to mention that this conflicts with a prior message from the owner stating our siding was on its way, but got held up because of the hurricane in Louisiana at the exact same time he's claiming our siding color was discontinued. After complaining to the BBB and the Attorney General's Office of PA he finally decided to back out of our contract where he is thinks he can keep $2000 of the insurance money even though HE backed out of the contract. At this point, we are fine with that as we are happy to be done with this nightmare company; however, he is now illegally holding our money hostage and threatening legal action if I don't rescind my complaints against his company, so we still await our money. I have since found another review from a family that sued the company civilly for $8000, won the court case, and still have not received their money either. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.Update: Matt Parker emailed me with a homemade contract that he “claimed” came from his attorney promising to pay our money if I removed my reviews. We agreed but had our attorney draw up a legal agreement for both of us to sign. Our attorney emailed the contract to Matt Parker, owner. He said he would review it. That was eight months ago. He has never responded regarding the contract with the terms he wanted and is not responding to any of my messages…AGAIN. Time to file in civil court.

DO NOT TRUST CORE Roofing LCC. We contracted with CORE for a roof replacement after hail damage. The company representative insisted they could complete our roof for our insurance monies. Two weeks after handing over the full amount of our $8000 of insurance monies (we now know by law companies can only request one third prior to commencing work) the owner said CORE would not commence work on our roof unless we agreed to arbitration for additional insurance monies. We were able to receive additional funds, but the company still would not commence the roof replacement. The owner canceled our contract, but did not return our initial insurance monies. We sued civilly and won the judgement, but CORE Roofing still has not refunded our insurance monies.Service: Roof inspection

Promise after promise of working with my insurance to get the entire roof covered.. etc etc. all while never providing a price for the actual job. Matt was pushing me to sign a letter to invoke rights to dispute the appraisal but still.. no cost estimate for my roof.. It felt shady so I decided to hire a company that disclosed pricing upfront. Once I told Matt he then sends my insurance a bill of $1300 for a tarp! "But don't worry, I spoke with them and they're going to pay for it." So all this talk for work with my insurance only happened with this sham tarp. This money should go towards fixing the damage not some shady tarp bill. Oh and 4 days after the bill sent via email, the harassing phone calls began. I was getting harassed before the money was even released to me! I got tied up in this sham company who's CORE competency is getting as close to insurance fraud as possible with enough plausible deniability.

Warning: do not utilize this business UNLESS you absolutely want to waste your time! I called and set up an appointment to have someone come out and inspect my roof. The appointment was set up for a Friday between 9 - 11 am. Mind you, I specifically took off work so that I could be home when the roofer arrived. The roofer never showed, and after 11 am I called and left a message to ask if they’d be coming over. I NEVER even received a call back. This business is absolutely unprofessional, unreliable, a waste of time, and a scam. Unfortunately, I won’t be reimbursed for the time I took off work or the time I wasted scheduling the appointment. It’s extremely disrespectful they didn’t even have an ounce of courtesy to call me back and apologize for standing me up, or the fact that they didn’t call me to let me know they wouldn’t be coming. I’m extremely disgusted with this business. It is clear they don’t value their customers and don’t have any respect or courtesy for peoples’ time.EDIT: yes this is the right business. I received a call from “Matt” with core roofing a while ago. I honestly am not sure how they have my phone number if I was never in the system?

Had suffered hail damage due to a freak storm and after a few shady contractors came to try to get the job, CORE Restore Group was in a class by itself. Courteous, prompt and walked through the entire process. Highly recommend CORE.
