Over a year ago I needed to have my door replaced in my home and a screen door installed, which I didn't have before. I got quotes from more than one construction company or windows/doors company, and Great Lakes Construction had the best quote while also using a good brand door, ProVia. Not only did they install the door, but they also replaced the frame so well that it looks original to the home. Huge improvement on energy efficiency. Easy transaction also. I've got plans for other projects around the house I will probably call Great Lakes Construction again.

My husband and I recently needed repairs on some windows, that we purchased from, Great Lakes Construction, in 2007. The repairs were due to age and wear and were covered under warranty. Office manager, Tina provided great communication. She replied promptly to our emails, and followed up with some phone calls. She arranged to have the guys come to the house in less than a week.The guys arrived on time, they were professional, courteous, and quickly repaired the windows.Thank you all for your quick, responsive and professional service!

Did a great job redoing my whole exterior back in 2008, but when I reported moisture coming in above my entrance door this past November, it took a month and a half (and perhaps the previous version of this review) to hear from them. Anyway, they did come by to check out my issue, which apparently was not caused by their work. Bumping up to four stars; the only reason for not going to five is the aforementioned response time. Still recommend this company and would use them again.Service: Roof repair

Not only did they have the most competitive price, Sean was extremely responsive to my numerous emails and calls (sometimes on a weekend). Their crew was also pleasant to deal with during the siding and windows install and cleaned up everything. Same with the gutter installation. I really didn't have any concerns ... I was impressed.

Great Lakes Construction replaced my roof in 2017 and now in 2021 it's leaking. Have called three times and each time someone says "we'll have someone come take a look" but no one ever calls me back or comes out.Service: Roof installation

Very disappointed in customer service after the sale. I needed a part and after 13 phone calls and two visits to see if they had it or had to order it, I am still waiting to hear back. Every year when i clean my windows , the same part breaks. The others are hard to close and lock.

I had someone come to my home on 7/20 and as of today 9/4 they have not gotten back to me with an estimate on replacing my windows. Even if they did great work I would NOT hire them! Must be nice to be so busy you can ignore potential customers! Totally unacceptable business communication!

6-6-18 requested GLC replace 1 aluminium storm door and install a lock on a mandoor of a garage. GLC was unable to install lock in door because it would require cutting a whole in door and they couldn't do that. To replace the screen storm door would charge over $800. Not a good company for small jobs.

I requested a quote for a new front door and a deck. Due to the cost of materials, they are not quoting decks. But I never received a return call about an estimate for my door.
