Dan was great from the beginning to the end of our project. Due to the severity of our winter we had to postpone our roof replacement till the first warm day that came available. They came with enough people to complete the job in one day with the exception of the gutters which was completed within the week. I would recommend this contractor to anyone that is looking for roof repairs. And the inspection is at no charge to the homeowner.

Brit and his team came to our door due to hail damage in our area. So thankful he did! He assessed and realized we were affected in the storms. From then on he took the lead and we had a smooth journey to our new beautiful roof! Went from a 60s red roof to a black roof. It changes the entire feel of our house and makes it much more modern. His team of workers came and finished in one day! Would recommend to everyone!

Our house was damaged in a hail storm in May 2014. Universal Builders had a crew sent to our area to assess damage and offer their services. Our decision to accept was one of the best we ever made. Their local representative, Mr. Joseph Slye, sat down with us and came up with a detailed estimate for the needed work. He then provided advice and assistance in our submitting our house insurance claim. We needed to have replacement of our roof, siding, skylights, and screens. We were always told in advance when a phase of the work was going to be done. The crews that arrived were professional, friendly, and did an excellent job. They were very neat as well, and I had virtually no clean-up to do afterwards. Additionally, Universal Builders sent an inspector out after each phase of the work was done. That person examined the work that had been done, and checked with us to be certain we were satisfied with it. All through the process the house insurance payments came through smoothly because the accurate estimates. Our out of pocket expense was just for our copay, and nothing more. The new roof and siding look great, and we would highly recommend Universal Builders for any sort of building project or repair you may be contemplating. Absolutely no negatives here!

We saw some of the Universal signs around, and stopped Dan the rep to take a look to see if our house was damaged along with all of the others from the hail storm in May of 2014. Dan was extremely professional, and he and the rest of the team were extremely helpful in helping us get a new roof and gutter protectors. The team was very efficient and accommodating to our schedule for completing the job. We originally were scheduled in early December, but the weather caused a couple of days postponement. We like to decorate the outside of our house for the Holiday, and we asked if they could wait until the new year, and they had no issues doing so. Once re-scheduled, they came out and completed the jobs in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Universal (and have to 3 of my neighbors already)

We had damage to our house from a hail storm in May 2014. Larry Deemers and Ron Imes did a great job of explaining all of our siding options with us as well as setting up and overseeing it all. They made it all so easy for us.We are very happy with the job and our house looks awesome! The work was done quickly and efficiently.Phone calls or messages to Ron were always answered right away and he kept in constant contact with us from beginning to end. We would recommend Universal Builders to anyone. They treat their customers very well and do excellent work!

Like many residents of Chester County, we were hit by the May 22, 2014 hail storm. Before UB approached us in July, we had several other contracting companies visit us, offering roof inspections, but at our cost. UB offered to look for damage at no cost, they even took us up on the roof and showed us the damage. They worked with us through the entire insurance claim procedure; they completed the paperwork with us and explained everything very clearly. What gave us the most assurance was that unless our claim was 100% approved, we were not obligated to do anything further with UB. A week later, our insurance adjuster came out and by mid-August, our new roof was complete. We appreciated Chris's hands on project management and attention to detail. We were really happy with the final result and the professionalism of UB. We don't normally respond to cold calling and door to door sales, but on this occasion, we are glad we did.

Worst experience ever with a contractor.no follow up won’t return phone calls I had insurance claim with farmers insurance .Universal builders we’re supposed to help me with my claim. They did nothing to help me . I lose my claim because of universal builders. There plenty of good contractors out there don’t waste your time with universal builders

We tried to call these guys to get an estimate, they are located in Columbus, Ohio and were only here during a storm for a short time they indicated.
