Fredrick & Son Contracting was amazing. Chandra was a pleasure dealing with over the phone. Zack and Caleb were wonderful from assessing the problem with our furnace, ordering a new heat exchanger to coming back within a couple of days and installing it in a timely and professional manner. They made sure everything worked perfectly before they left. Will definitely be using them again and recommending!!Thanks for getting us heat back in the house!!

Waking up to no heat on a Sunday, we had another 24/7 local company come in and they said we had a bad heat exchanger, a bad circuit board and a bad gas valve. They recommended replacing the 6 year old Lennox furnace. We called to cancel the estimate for a new furnace after contacting Frederick and Son, and told them we were getting an estimate for a repair. At this point it is Monday morning and we had contacted Frederick and Son. An hour later the "other" company called back to say they could repair our furnace for $2015. We said we would get back to them.TO THE RESCUE! Frederick and Son sent Caleb who diagnosed the problem in less than 1 minute (seriously!!) Caleb determined we only needed a gas valve and ran out to get one. He came back quickly, replaced the gas valve and stayed to make sure the furnace would run through a couple of cycles. All Fixed!!END RESULT: A savings of over $1600 and a job that we were confident that was done correctly and completely!Thanks so much!!

The two guys who came and redid our heating system were quick and efficient as a possibly could be given how difficult it was to access our heating unit. They did a great job and everything is working great and I really appreciate it.

On a Saturday we found a gas leak outside at our meter. The gas company came out, gave us a new meter and valve, shut us off and told us to call someone to come and fix it. Monday we call d Frederick and Sons they had someone out in 45 min. The next day they came and completed the work in 2 hours! Was very nice and explained everything to us! There was a little miscommunication when it came to getting the gas turned back on but I think that was as mainly on my part, so I don’t fault them for that! The gas company came back out and turned on the valve and Frederick and Sons came right back out to get everything tested inside and to make sure we were running properly and even took them time to answer a question I had about another issue! Great company and would use again!

My furnace wouldn’t light and wasn’t sure what to do. I ended up calling Frederick and Sons contracting for the fix. 2 young men came and checked it out and got me running in no time. The next night it quit running again and I didn’t want to make it a big deal about it so I contacted one the guys that were here. I am a mom of three children and permanently disabled. Living on a fixed income and having a devastating loss of a major appliance in your home is extremely costly and for many, unaffordable. This just most recently happened to me when my blower motor went on my furnace. I, immediately, googled and came upon GILLECE HVAC repair. Long story short, they informed me that the part I needed was around 3k and that I needed a whole new system anyway which was going to cost me 13k and 11 years of financing! Devastated by this, I began to research possible programs that could possibly help someone that lived on a fixed income with major household repairs such as this. It was brought to my attention that LIHEAP, if you qualify, does just that. In a matter of a day, they hired (LIHEAP) Frederick & Son Contracting to take on the repair. Frederick & Son and it’s employees, from the office staff to the contractors, were extremely helpful, understanding, professional and timely. A special thank you to Zack (my contractor) that was able to make the repair process less stressful and thoroughly explained all the processes and what he was doing throughout the time he was in my home completing the repair. My furnace is now in working condition and seems to even be working better than before. I appreciate so much that Frederick & Sons allows time in their day to help those that may be struggling or are less fortunate. God Bless you all. We would highly recommend Frederick & Son. They completed a drainage project due to flooding issues 2 years ago and just completed a second project to completely replace our damaged culvert along with widening the drainage ditches and lining with stone for better flow. The professionalism and communication was beyond excellent throughout the project and the work was beyond our expectations. Fair price and every detail was handled appropriately.

Frederick & Son was hired to do a complete installation of an HVAC system on a our newly constructed residence. The company became unresponsive after partially completing the rough in work. They ignored multiple phone calls from my General Contractor, and myself. And never offered any explanation for why they disappeared. Thankfully, we have since hired an honest competitor from the area who picked up where they left off. Frederick & Son has shown themselves to be completely unprofessional, and my advice would be to avoid them at all cost.Service: Heating system installation

We contacted Frederick & Son for a time-sensitive sewer line issue. We based our call to them on the stellar reviews on Home Advisor. They requested that we send the video from the inspection over and and stated that the master plumber would be in touch ASAP. We were NEVER contacted. We tried several times to follow-up, but again, did not hear from a plumber. I would have understood if the business was too busy to accept a job, however, this should have been stated. (if not immediately, on a subsequent call) This job had the potential to upwards of 10k, but there was no interest. I find this very unprofessional and I am extremely disappointed in the company and in Home Advisor, as I have received other fantastic contractors from the site.

Can't recommend Frederick hearing and cooling enough! These guys are great. Very fair prices, reliable, and trust worthy. My AC went out on a very hot Friday afternoon and mark was out there the next morning at 9am. I can't say enough good things about this company. You would be wasting your time and money if you went anywhere else for your heating and cooling needs.

They are extremely over pricing their jobs. Be ware they priced a job for me at 2400. I was able to get the job done for 800. Chase was extremely nice but I'm not paying 3 times the amount for him being a nice guy. That must be a trick to get business. Also I put in a request from home advisor and they called me three times before 8 am. 7 am, 724 am 745 am , people are sleeping. Must not be that busy because his prices are ridiculous.

Very professional group to work with. So hard these days to seek help in fields/services one might not know about. When help was needed, these are the right folks to work with. They tell you what they can do, they taught me something new along the way and they gave me written proposal for the job. Most importantly they took pride in their work. After speaking with their journeyman plumber, and sending over sewer camera videos of a potential replacement, I could not get a call back. Based on the lack of response, would you consider hiring a contractor that cannot simply provide a courtesy of a return a call to say that they are either too busy to take my job or not interested? That speaks volumes to their level of customer service.

This company's customer service is unfathomable, they installed ou8u HVAC system incorrectly there are air leaks every where the did not install gaskets on the unit itself and it seems to cool my basement better then the rest of the house do to these leaks they never returned any of my calls avoid this company at all costs!Service: Heating system installation
