I highly recommend MSI. I used them for a leak in my roof that caused water damage to the ceiling and walls . From the beginning, talking through my situation with Joe was easy and he explained everything to me. No nonsense, didn’t try to upsell me on anything, and he ended up saving me a lot of money by walking through what would be needed vs. what wouldn’t be needed. Very fair pricing.The team that came out to do the work were awesome. They were extremely meticulous in covering furniture in the bedroom, setting down sheets to cover the walkways where they’d be walking a lot on, and explaining to me what they were going to do. All were extremely professional and respectful. And upon completion of the work they did an amazing job cleaning up and went the extra step of covering the exposed wall to prevent brick dust.I hope I never have to use them again because the leaking has stopped for good, but if anything does come up like this again I know I’ll be using MSI.

We had water damage from a failed sump pump in the basement recently. My insurance company recommended I call a water mitigation company to assess the damage. Joe and his team from MSI were great. Joe was very responsive and answered all my questions. He was honest and explained the water mitigation process. We love Joe and MSI! They’ve saved us countless hours and frustration twice after faulty appliances leaked into finished areas of our past and current homes. The crew is professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Joe educated us on proper water remediation after a big named company left us with water damaged ceilings and walls in our old home. He took the time to show us exactly what needed to be done to properly dry our space and prevent mold from growing. When we had a leak in our current home we called MSI immediately. They are the BEST in the business. Joe is the most responsive contractor that I have ever worked with. Shortly after we purchased our home, we found mold. Joe called me at the end of each work day and explained to me what the team had done and what they would be doing the following day. Joe answered every question without hesitation. Wizards at Work! I had an A+ experience with the entire team at MSI relating to the clean-out and mold remediation in my basement. The crew was punctual and worked quickly and efficiently during both phases. Also, they were all very professional and courteous.Joe, the owner, explained the entire process of the work his team would perform. He checked in with me as the work was in progress and afterwards. Mike inspected the basement prior to starting the work. He believed water was getting into the basement. He was correct. Once the drywall was taken down, in the corner of the basement, there was moisture between the drywall and the basement wall. A couple of weeks later, after several heavy storms - water did trickle in at the same corner of the basement. I would not hesitate to recommend MSI. If you have a mold issue, call MSI. We had mold testing done through a home inspection agency and learned with had elevated levels of mold in our house. This particularly worried us because we have an 8 month old son. I found MSI through a Google search and saw great reviews. I spoke with Joe on the phone and knew right away I was going to use his business. He laid out the whole process and was very up front about the cost and the time it would take. He sent a guy out that day to check out our situation and had his crew out the following week (the week between Christmas and New Years when they usually take off) to remediate our mold because he knew how concerned we were about our son. Joe called at the end of the day each day to ask if we had any questions and to lay out what would be happening the next day. He spent a lot of time on the phone with us and never made us feel rushed or like any of our questions were stupid. All of the employees who came to the house were very friendly and professional. I had major flood damage from Hurricane Ida that completely submerged my basement and came up into my first floor.I called around to the big company Flood Remediators like ServPro and TLC but they wanted to charge me $150 for an estimate (ServPro) or didn't call me back (TLC). Neighbors that used ServPro had estimates from 30-40K. These big companies use you as a piggy bank assuming insurance will just cover everything. Well insurance penny pinches anywhere it can and for damage like this we need every penny.Joe the owner of MSI was the opposite of these big companies. He gave me a bunch of great advice before he even came out for his estimate. Was flexible, responsive and professional through the whole process. The guys he has employed were also great. Mike was knowledgeable and went the extra mile to help where he could. He's even recommended a contractor I ended up going with who's done a great job so far for a fair price.At the end MSI charged half of what ServPro would have and worked with me constantly to help with insurance. He came out Monday morning to do an estimate and by Wednesday he had a crew out to get the job done. Very quick and efficient with a fair price. Unfortunately, I've had to have MSI over twice- once for mold when we bought our house, once for water damage after a burst pipe. Both times Joe and his team were fabulous to work with and helped manage not only the cleanup but how to deal with the insurance as well. His team is prompt and professional. About 2 weeks after a flood in my kitchen, I discovered mold growing in one of my cabinets, so I called MSI (Mold Solutions and Inspections) right away. They did an AMAZING job… I HIGHLY recommend this company!The owner, Joe, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He spent a significant amount of time on the telephone explaining how the process would work. He answered all of my questions and helped to put my mind at ease. Joe also contacted me after the work was completed to inquire about my experience and to ask if I had any additional questions. The workers, Joe (a different Joe) and Mike, showed up on-time both days. They were extremely friendly and worked quickly. Joe and Mike were respectful of my home and cleaned up very well after they were finished. I was impressed with the number of pictures that were taken to document the damage (for insurance reasons). Joe and the team were TERRIFIC. I needed mold remediation in order to close a house sale on an extremely tight time frame. They were able to schedule and complete everything by the deadline, despite numerous hiccups (outside of all of our control!) The MSI team stayed patient and addressed everything that came up with professionalism. Joe gave me frequent updates, and guided me through everything that needed to be done to ensure a successful remediation. They then went above and beyond (including cleaning up messes left behind by other contractors..!) and checked back in on the house several times after the job was completed to make sure everything remained dry and clean. I can’t speak highly enough about MSI! Joe, the owner was hands down the most professional and courteous professional I’ve worked with in a long time and I have worked in the construction industry for 16 years. We had some water damage in our home from a storm and called our insurance for help- the team they sent was sloppy, took short cuts and missed wet insulation that laid on my walls for 4 days! We fired them and called Joe at MSI. His team was there days later, took everything out that should have been out the first time, worked non stop for 9 hours and cleaned up every step of the way. Trust me, don’t waste your time with the other storm restoration companies- if you get damage to your home call MSI and start with the best ! I needed an inspection for suspected mold for my home for a refinance on our home. Joe explained the inspection process and affiliated costs honestly and clearly so I knew what he would be doing before he arrived. After a fire in my home that involved months of insurance and claim management issues, Joe and his team not only provided exceptional and thorough post-fire mitigation services, but he also took a tremendous amount of time to assist me in getting my claim back on course. My experience with MSI was one of the best customer service experiences that I've ever had with any company or vendor.Joe is extremely knowledgeable and technical in his field of specialty, he's honest and goes above and beyond to help his clients in all facets of their home-related issues; as other have said, he basically treats you like family. MSI's work was done professionally and comprehensively, and they supplied all the documentation that was needed so that there were no questions left from the insurance company. Joe's pricing was beyond reasonable, and he invested several hours to ensure that his invoice for services would be understandable to my insurance company adjuster (to be sure I wasn't left footing the bill for any necessary mitigation work). In the end, the insurance company paid for all that Joe billed without any back-and-forth appeals, and thanks to the excellent work by Joe and his team, my home is finally primed to be restored.I am genuinely so thankful that I found Joe and MSI to assist me with what otherwise could have been a disastrous experience. Joe and the MSI Team were AMAZING in helping us out in a tough situation. I searched AngiesList for the best vendor and MSI's track record (150 A+ reviews) was by far the most impressive. Joe was at our house the SAME DAY and brought 6 very high quality fans to help dry the flooring and carpeting to prevent mold. We were very lucky to have Joe, the owner, come to our house given his 20 years of experience in dealing with every type of home-related issue. Joe had such a warm personality that we felt like we were dealing with a friend and his knowledge of how to prevent mold/mildew by placing the fans in the proper locations was very impressive. Joe kept in touch with us and worked around our schedule (we were getting married the same week) to dry our house and perform the sheetrock and drywall removal. Joe is well connected and was able to put us in touch with a Public Adjuster (also Joe) who helped us with the insurance claim process. Overall, Joe and MSI had completed their work in 3 days and we were really happy with the quality of their workmanship and Joe's ability to communicate effectively with us. Joe from Mold Solutions was great - not only was he on time to our initial consult, he was quick in diagnosing the problem and the extent to which it was occurring. Thankfully, our job wasn't too big, so he was able to get his counterpart out the next day, who was prompt, professional, and efficient about his work. On remediation day, Joe even returned to check in on things and to ensure I was satisfied with the process and results. In short, finding mold in your house is an unnerving and frustrating experience, and MSI was great in making the best of a bad situation.

I can't say enough good things about MSI. We had mold in our home and it was causing some illness. Joe contacted us immediately and came out to test and determine what needed to be done. He is so knowledgeable and he's able to recommend the least intrusion (read: most cost effective) way of making sure the problem is fixed...and fixed right.
