Tom and Mario were a pleasure to work with and provided one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. I would highly recommend them.I hired Tom to remodel my basement and more specifically to install a kitchen. Tom provided good value, quality work, and professionalism. They always showed up on time and never left until everything was cleaned up. Tom always clearly communicated next steps, stayed within the original estimate that he provided, and completed the work within schedule. Finally, the most important part was that the quality of work was high. My basement kitchen now looks better than most people's main kitchen. Tom Thornton of Tri-County General Contracting did a great job transforming my once old and dingy kitchen into a beautiful new custom kitchen with all the bells and whistles. Tom is great to work with, fair and very skilled. Every job, no matter whether it's a bathroom, kitchen, deck or whatever always has challenges - our house included. Tom was great at problem solving - handling the quirks that arise when people want their 30 year old homes to include all the latest amenities. He was always there and stayed within our time frame. Much more importantly, he stayed within our budget!

Tom Thornton, of Tri-County Contracting, repaired and remodeled our basement after a wind storm did considerable damage. He and his team of two men, Josh and Darryl did an excellent job. All three are highly skilled, dependable, and hardworking. The job was done quickly and professionally; we are totally satisfied. Tom was flexible, when we requested changes to the original plan and was very easy to deal with when issues came up. When emailing or calling him, if he did not pick up the phone himself, he got back to us within one day or less. Very impressive person. Honest and hardworking. In addition, he helped us with the insurance part of our claim, when he volunteered to be here when the claims adjuster came to evaluate the basement and participated in a phone conference with the insurance company as well.We would highly recommend Tom and would use his company again, without pause. Tri-County has done great work for us at a reasonable price. They did a complete re-do on our Master Bath; a complete re-do on our Powder Room; installed a new hard tile floor in our Family Room; and replaced all the interior doors and closet doors in the entire house. They are professional, courteous, and make great suggestions but do what you want. I would highly recommend them.
