Reynolds Restoration Services did a fantastic job after our dryer fire. The house was a mess with dry chemical from the fire extinguisher and a daunting cleanup in our eyes. Todd and his crew made it look like the fire never happened. They were very efficient and quickly got us back into our house. They really showed us they cared with how well they treated us and every item in our house. We highly recommend going with Reynolds Restoration Services!

I'm pretty sure that Reynolds Restoration stopped everything they were doing everywhere this week and came to my rescue. At least it felt like it! They saved our sanity during a challenging time. A dishwasher malfunction poured dirty water onto our kitchen floor and into our finished basement below. Todd and Anthony were here about an hour after I called to stabilize the situation. Within 2 days, Sherry and Steve advised me on what to do and in what order, to file an insurance claim. Their demo crew came every day to check in and they were great - knowledgeable, efficient and they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. Our insurance adjuster was completely comfortable with everything they did and approved their continued work to get us whole again. This is the third time I've used Reynolds for restoration issues (including one on Christmas day!) and I couldn't be happier with the care and respect they've shown us. They treat every dollar as if they are paying it themselves too. My next house will be waterless (lol) but until I get there, I have Reynolds Restoration on speed dial.

We had a fire in March 2021, something you never think will happen nor do you think about everything and everyone that will be involved to get you back home. Andy Dresher from Reynolds told us they would at least board it up even if they were not the company we hired to do the restoration. At the time I really had no clue what he really was saying or the extent of everything: from boarding, demolishing, cleanup, financing, designing just for us to get home. Andy and Reynolds Restoration held our hand, explained to us the steps, kept us updated on progress and sometimes even delivered news we did not want to hear, but needed to know. We are very thankful for the open communication, answering all our silly and I’m sure annoying questions in a timely manner. ( including on holidays) I’m told and hope, this will never happen again but I now know who to call for help. The stained wood grooved ceiling over our deck had turned dark from moisture and age. It truly looked like it had mold or mildew growing on it. Our entire experience with Reynolds was positive. Steven did the initial inspection and kept me updated on scheduling. Brad, Anthony, and Todd were phenomenal. They cleared the deck of furniture and plastic sheet wrapped every surface that might be damaged by the cleaning solution. They even protected our surrounding shrubbery. This was a very high ceiling and the cleaning process was not easy. I was thrilled to see how good it looked after being cleaned. But when Brad, Anthony and Todd returned and applied a clear sealant to the wood... I was amazed. Now our old original stained wood ceiling looks almost as good as when it was brand new! Wind blew the rubber flat roof off my house. I called at about 10AM. They send over Jeffrey Spencer to check it out. He inspected, made recommendation for temporary solution to protect my house from Rain that was on the way. He preformed intended work. Showed pictures after so I could see what he did. Rain came next multiple times over the next few days, NO LEAKS. Worked with Jeffrey Spencer, Shari Wharton & Rayna. Everyone was excellent, thanks for keeping my home dry! No one wants to have to call them, but if you have to they are fabulous. We had our finished basement ruined by a leaking pipe late Wednesday evening. They called me within an hour of my insurance starting the claim.They were kind, on time and as awful as the situation is they made it painless. Laurel and Todd were the two case people who were in my home the past two days. Sheri my contact at the office also called and checked in yesterday. It is nice to know in a horrible situation you can rely on a kind, compassionate hard working people at Reynolds. They were even sweet with my dog.I may have a mess, but it is nice to know they are working fast to get us back to normal.Service: Flood cleanup

We used Reynolds Restoration to repair the front door and lobby of our historic office building after a car hit it. There were multiple materials damaged in the accident, masonry, a wrought iron railing and our beautiful oak door. While I was gathering quotes it became clear that it would be difficult to find one contractor who could not only repair the variety of materials but was familiar with the stricter guidelines of historic buildings. I was and continue to be very grateful to Reynolds Restoration. The project manager Tom was incredibly responsive and went out of his way to make the whole project as smooth as possible. Our office is continuing to work remotely so we needed to coordinate access to the building for the repairs and Tom was diligent in communicating those needs. The crew Tom assembled for our project were all super friendly and just top notch. An issue with my chimney at home presented itself during the course of this project and I hired the mason to do those repairs. Can't think of a higher recommendation than using them myself! If you're looking for a professional, high quality contractor, you've found that in Reynolds Restoration.

The only aspect of my experience with this company that I believe is worthy of a five-star rating is the foreman that works for Reynolds Restoration, Joe. I would give my rating of the experience with this company two stars. My basement flooded in January of 2021. Nationwide Insurance contracted Reynolds Restoration for the demo, remodeling and repair. Reynolds in turn subcontracted much of the work out to a company called Handy Works. Their quality of workmanship left a lot to be desired. I'm sure every project has its hiccups, but my experience with the planning, preparation and completion of my basement's remodeling between the companies involved seemed fairly dysfunctional.After Handy Works finished their work, there were multiple unfinished parts of the basement as well as multiple obvious areas in the basement that was going to have to be redone by someone who is a better skilled craftsman. After expressing my displeasure with the condition of my basement after it was "finished", they sent Joe to complete the work that should have been done correctly by Handy Works the first time. Joe has professionally and skillfully completed the areas of my basement that were unfinished or poorly completed by previous contractors. Joe's talented craftsmanship skill was clearly demonstrated in his work product completing my basement. To my untrained eye, it is very obvious which work was completed by Joe and which was not. I hope Reynolds Restoration recognizes how valuable of an asset Joe is to their team and am thankful to him for salvaging and improving all he could with my basement's condition.Services: Remodeling, Water damage-related cleanup & repair

I had a substantial water loss due to a failed water hose leading to my washing machine. Water was everywhere in my finished basement. The carpet was fully saturated with standing water in spots. The water had sprayed up into the ceiling and walls leaving soaked insulation throughout the area. I called Reynolds Restoration Service's 24 hour hotline and am glad I did. Within minutes I was connected with the on call team leader. He quickly got the details from me and confidently assured me they were up to the task and would be arriving soon. As he promised, they urgently arrived and assessed the situation. They got to work immediately. The leader, Steve, explained what he had found, and what the path would look like going forward. I could tell his and the company's experience in handling losses like this was extensive. I am thankful for the entire team at Reynolds. They helped make a nightmare situation a lot easier to navigate. Their work was excellent. They handled dealing with most of the insurance interactions as well. Spenser and Braden cam out first thing in the morning after my shingles blew off my roof to make sure I would not get water damage. They repaired it and were very thorough in explaining the process to ease the stress of the damage. Very friendly and helpful. The company handled my call right away even though it was on a Friday night . They would have come out right away if it were raining. They are very prompt. Businesses service for United Way of the Capital Region. Provided water damage services after a line to an ice maker that leaked. Dried out carpeting, replaced damaged wallboard and made sure there would be no mold issues. Staff was professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
