O'Donnell was an outstanding company to work with! I had water leaking in my front porch roof and Mick came out to do a full assessment and make recommendations. He was thorough, patient, and put my needs first, always being really transparent about what would remedy my issues fully but giving me other options that were less expensive. He walked me through the choices of siding and windows and explained the pros/cons and price points.Eventually, I had new siding installed on the front of my house, a new porch roof installed, and new windows. The teams completing the work were all very respectful and thorough, and Christina was really communicative in scheduling the teams and giving me updates on the project. Unlike a prior roofing company I used that just put a new roof over the existing roof, they discovered that I had six roofs plus a metal roof on my porch and removed them all before installing a new one.Everything looks beautiful and I haven't had any water leaking since. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a company that involves you, is communicative, and takes their time to produce high-quality, highly-effective work.

I was concerned about my roof so I called O’Donnell Roofing for a free inspection. I told Rob, from O’Donnell that I did not want him to tell me I needed a new roof but I did not want him to lie to me. Well, after inspection, he said you don’t want me to lie but I have to say you need a new roof.So, my roof project began. It could have been very stressful but the team from O’Donnell made it easy. From calling for the roof inspection, signing the proposal, setting up financing , scheduling which was three weeks earlier than originally quoted, taking off the old roof, putting on the new roof, clean-up, gutters, new back door, everything went smoothly. The team at O’Donnell work very well together. Everyone I spoke with was friendly yet professional. I want to thank Tracie, Rob, Cristina, Linsey, Eddie, Myles and Shannon for all your help with this project. Also, thank you to the crews who worked on the roof and gutters. I was looking for a roofing company to do my roofing project and was recommended O'Donnell Roofing by neighbors. I reached out O'Donnell Roofing.They were very quick to respond and very professional to talk to. Mike O'Donnell was my contact person and he was respectful, listens carefully and responds promptly every time I have questions. After we discussed everything that I needed to do, I signed a contract with them.My roof was really in bad shape (I didn't know until they ripped off the old shingles), but they did an amazing job even replacing the rafters, plywood and reframing the roof. They are quick, clean, honest and very professional. They finished my this huge project in three days.My final bill was a bit more than I expected and planned to spend, but that was because of the additional work that needed to be done (unknown when I signed the contract: bad rafters and frame). I spoke to Kevin, the CEO about my final bill and was able work it out. O'Donnell Roofing Company was referred to me by a friend during an emergency on a Sunday. I live in a townhouse style condo. The previous Sunday, a leak in the roof revealed itself from rain water coming down the front wall of my building and through cracks in the wood trim around the window in my master bathroom, buckling the wood trim and also spreading within the walls of my unit. The roof is part of the common area and the responsibility of the condo association. This Sunday, 20 hours of hard rain was forecasted and I had not been able to get the condo association to respond all week. I was at my wit's end after trying to find a roofer to come out all Sunday morning when my friend provided me the contact information for O'Donnell Roofing. I left a message on the O'Donnell business line not expecting any results. Within a half-hour I received a call from Kevin O'Donnell. He said he would come out to my property within a half-hour which he did. He inspected the damage and then then went to the attic area to gain access to the roof. He was planning on having one of his roofers come to do a temporary repair to the roof. However, the rain had begun and was becoming more intense and he decided it was too dangerous for his employee. Instead he borrowed trash bags and a cardboard box and using a baffle he had with him created a contraption the collected the rain water in the attic and rerouted it outside the building. This seemed to work until after dinner when the rain intensified and the water began coming into my master bathroom again at a pace that would fill up the buckets I had in place in less than two hours. I called Kevin on his cell at 7:00 PM out of desperation thinking he would surely not come again. He answered and said he would be out within the half-hour which he was. He went into the attic again and repositioned the contraption he had set up. This worked and slowed the water coming into my master bathroom to intermittent drops that the buckets were able to hold until rain stopped in the early morning which allowed me to get sleep. He also described to me the damage that had occurred in the attic area from the water leak which had been long ongoing and provided what he believed caused the leak and what repairs needed to be done. This was service well beyond the call of duty from someone I had no previous relationship with. This indicates to me that O'Donnell Roofing would provide the highest level of service and reliability on any job for which they may be hired. I would highly recommend them for any roofing needs.

Hired O'Donnell Roofing for a skylight replacement based on a recommendation from another contractor doing other work on our house. Great experience from project start to finish. Immediate call back after my initial inquiry (which can sometimes be the hardest part of finding a contractor!) and great communication about getting the job started. Quickly came out for a free estimate, gave me realistic options, didn't try to up-sell me on anything, and the price was right so we hired them. Shortly after agreeing to the contract and ordering our skylight, we got a date on the calendar and they were here to do the job. The crew doing the work came on time and were very courteous of our needs while they were here (we have pets and they made sure to keep the doors closed behind them). They worked quickly and were done with the install in a few hours and diligently cleaned up after themselves leaving no trace of their being here aside from a great new skylight. They educated us on how it worked, told us about warranty information, and without being pushy to sell us additional services, informed us of the condition of our roof and what to look for should it need work in the future. We have been very pleased with the quality of work and service we have experienced with O'Donnell Roofing. Kevin is very responsive and knowledgeable. This past spring, we had a bad leak due to old siding and gutters that was causing damage along with a few pieces of siding that fell off. The repairs were made quickly and they even returned when the leak came back to fix it. We eventually needed to replace all of the siding and gutters in the fall, because we were getting water damage in other spots. We also replaced the garage door. Again, we were very pleased with Kevin's responsiveness, recommendations and the crew that came out to do the job. Everything was done professionally and looks great! As long as you’re willing and able to do the communication work, O’Donnell does a good job. They came to inspect our issue in a timely manner, but did take some work to get follow up as they weren’t the best at moving things along. They were responsive when we reached out. Our initial work was not all complete at first due to their error, so we had to call them to get them to come back and complete. Update: 2 years later. We have water stains on our ceiling. O'Donnell was quick to come out and re-caulk around the chimney, stating they used a "bad batch" of caulk. We are very disturbed that only a thin bead of chalk stands between us and rain.We're very pleased with the work that was done at our house. Used O'Donnell Roofing Co to provide trim capping and soffit on my 100 year old garage in Havertown PA. The skilled workmanship provided by Matt and Rich was amazing. Its like having a new garage again. With the flat wood surrounding the garage door, they added extra wood to created 3 dimensional layers. They did great job boxing in the old rafters with soffit and transitioning the front soffit to the side soffit. See Pictures. Matt and Rich are very skilled workers. They are hard workers,, very punctual, 7:45am and left the work site clean at the end of day. I have a few other small jobs that I definitely will use O'Donnell roofing. Extremely satisfy customer.

Team cleaned up very well each day and at the end. I had the team perform a few minor fixes on the drip edges, which was expedited when we raised the issue. I called O’Donnell when our bathroom skylight started having a small leak during an intense rain storm. They came out to do a free estimate and were very candid and upfront about issues with the type of skylight we have and this type of leak. They shared that it looked like ultimately, we’d need to replace our entire roof in order to fix the problem- definitely not what I was hoping to hear. Knowing the financial requirements of this kind of job, the team decided to try to do a repair first to buy us some time without causing more damage. While the initial repair didn’t work, Matt came out and was able to determine what went wrong. With his fix, we haven’t had any leaking so far. The whole team clearly takes pride in their work and won’t settle for anything that isn’t perfect. I contacted O'Donnell in late June because water was leaking from my old roof, a drainspout had fallen down, and I had siding damage from high winds. They promptly responded, professionally assessed the condition of the roof, etc., and promptly submitted a proposal.They began the work on July 18th, and installed and/or repaired roof, siding, and gutters within two weeks. Their work crews were efficient, and the administrative staff was extremely friendly and responsive. I unhesitatingly checked off all of the categories listed above, and highly recommend this company!
