Kurt and Bob replaced our failed septic system. They arrived when they said they would, and completed the work in a timely manner. They are very hard-working and give attention to detail. They clearly knew what they were doing and the project was completed without any issues. When the dirt inevitably settled around the tank, I called Kurt to request grass seed because I wanted to match the seed he originally used. He promptly delivered some. This past summer (2023) B & K returned to our place to fortify the north east bank of our wildlife pond. Two summers ago they rebuilt the south east bank, and also graded and resurfaced the access road along its lower side. Previously, they installed a French drain in the area. These jobs done correctly are challenging, and B & K is always up to the task. They do a thoroughly professional job.If you have a project anywhere within their remit, call B & K! Bob and Kurt were very patient with me and built me a beautiful retaining wall and graded the yard to correct a water drainage problem. I could not be happier with the work provided by B&K! Their knowledge of septic systems & mountainside drainage was so comforting to someone unfamiliar with it all. They never seemed to mind my endless questions and I now have a much better understanding of how it all functions. Bob and Kurt work well as a team and provided reliable referrals to other specialists if/as needed (Greg was great!). Their attention to detail is notable and often difficult to find today. They will work with you on what you can afford and their prices were more than fair, even with inflation. Not only is Kurt Hall an excellent heavy equipment operator with a good touch, he is also a man of his word. To no fault of Kurt's, a bad load of material was delivered to my project. Kurt assured me he would make it right. He immediately contacted the trucking company and quarry while keeping in daily contact with me. Kurt kept at it until I was 100% satisfied. That means alot. First, B&K Excavating is as their name depicts, an excavating and digging company. We had water coming through the base of the foundation into our finished basement. I contacted them through their webpage messaging system late on a Friday night and by Saturday lunchtime, Bob had called me. That Monday, Bob and Kurt were at our house to evaluate the foundation french drain issues and make their recommendations. By Monday evening we had an estimate in hand. The estimate was very reasonable (a coworker of mine can also speak to their pricing to be fair). They put us on their calendar for a few weeks later. Bob called a few days before the dig to let us know when equipment would be dropped off and work would begin. Bob and Kurt very efficiently worked around the weather that comes in early spring and got the job done. Bob contacted us after the job was complete to check in and give us the good news that the job came in under the estimate. Both gentlemen are polite, professional and prompt. I truly enjoyed speaking with and working with both of them. If you need any digging done, call B&K Excavating!

I'd give 10 stars if i could. We can't say enough good things about Bob & Kurt. These guys went out of their way to help us when we needed help badly...they came to the rescue! They did beautiful work and were just good people! They were quick & reliable. Always answered the phone & any questions we had. Worked hard. They did a beautiful job with the septic&mound and lot landscaping. Kurt explained what to do & what to use for a nice lawn & it turned out just as he explained it would. They fixed our water run off issue with our driveway too! We'll have you back for cheese steak hoagies again sometime when we need more done...lol. We would definitely hire them again. Had this father son team install a sand mound system to replace my failed septic. They were knowledgeable and actually made some recommendations that made my system better than the original design. When it came time to do the work they showed up when they said they would and put in some long days during some of the hottest days of the year to ensure minimal disruption of our normal use of water. Great to see a father son team running a business in this day and age. Their work ethkc is excellent and they are very good at what they do. Highly recommend theirservices!!

Bob & Kurt were great to work with. We had them clear and fill an old cistern and install pipes to route our roof rain water underground and away from our home. We needed a place to store our new trailer and decided to build a stone pad. We called B & K and asked for an estimate. Bob knew the area and gave a very fair estimate within 15 minutes of our phone call without coming to our house! I called them to get an estimate on clearing land at my cabin. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and friendly....she told me she would have Bob call me back to set something up. Bob got back to me quickly the same day. Bob and his son Kurt came out on a Tuesday for my estimate and were willing to come back out the next day because of the weather coming that week. Kurt showed up at 7am like he said he would and got right to work. I told him what I was looking for and he nailed it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Actually I will be calling them back for more work on my property in the future.

Owning a small farm we were really dependent on the existing pond that was on the property. Over the years it corroded down to nothing. We had some issues with a foundation wall that was damaged due to some other work being done at our home. B&K was here quickly to look at the damage, made suggestions on how to repair it, and was back to do the excavating within a few days to allow the wall to be repaired. These guys did an amazing job! I had a rather large heaped up garden in my back yard that I wanted to be leveled off for a pond and patio project. They leveled it off quickly and accurately making sure that the edges were finished off nicely. I would trust their equipment operations in the most tricky of areas.
