We enjoy this quaint little hometown restaurant. The staff bust their rears. It is a small place but usually always packed. We enjoy listening to everyone catch up with their friends while we our meals are being prepared. BTW, they make us really good vanilla cokes.😋Parking: There's parking in front of the restaurant and their motel, also street parking.Kid-friendliness: We see kids here all the time. Very family oriented.Wheelchair accessibility: Their parking area is flat, and the door is wide enough for a wheelchair. It may be tight getting to a table, but they will accommodate you.

Huge $10-12 meals! By that I mean plate of fries and two bacon cheeseburgers. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Friendly service the girls in their hustle.

Stopped here for lunch while riding the GAP Trail. Probably the beat milkshake I’ve ever had - ever! Great burger and patty melt too. We needed to charge my wife’s e-bike. Owner graciously let us put bike in a open motel room to charge it while we ate! And amazing prices!!

Stayed here & ate breakfast here on our GAP trail ride. As I ate my excellent Western omelet it occurred to me I can taste everything in it; might sound silly but I couldn’t remember ever having that thought before. The peppers, onions, and tomatoes were all flavorful and distinctly noticeable, and it was excellent !!Neither of my sons were able to finish their big, fantastic pancake, and these 2 usually eat everything in sight : ) I tried it and the pancake was very good. So Michelle batted 1000 while we were there. Our rooms were basic but clean, and by far the most affordable lodging in town. Yea, no AC as someone mentioned, but the fans did the trick for us. Next time thru Meyersdale we will definitely be back.

Besides serving breakfast all day, they offer real maple syrup! And it's definitely worth the extra charge. I ordered one pancake and bacon. This was my pancake. Too big for the huge plate. But delicious. And the prices are hard to beat.

This little diner in Meyersdale has friendly locals, friendly staff, and good food. We visited on a Sunday morning, probably around 10:00 AM, and the staff were somewhat overwhelmed with the number of customers. They still held a positive attitude, and worked hard to get our orders to us. With the crowd, it did take 20-30 minutes for our orders to arrive, but the breakfast food was tasty and filling. A single pancake covered the edges of the plate, and the homemade maple syrup was delicious. If you are riding the GAP trail, just know that you have a steep downhill to get here, which you then need to climb to get to the trail, but it is a short hill compared to others in western Pennsylvania.

We were biking through this town on the GAP trail and decided to spend the night at the campground. We got up the next morning sore and hungry. We almost went to sheetz when we saw that Donges Drive In was open. We sat down had some amazing food and regained our strength to continue on our bike ride to Cumberland. The pancakes here are exquisite.

Stayed in the motel as well as dinner and breakfast during my GAP ride. It reminded me of my small town upbringing where the locals drop in for their 'regular' and chat up the news. Food was great but you just need to be patient as the kitchen is a one-person show. My room was perfectly fine and appeared to have been recently renovated. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Ask about what is NOT on the menu and "enjoy" the pedal back up to the trail!

1,000% worth riding down from the GAP trail for lunch. Where I'm from, this would be called an "authentic 60s diner" but here is just "the diner". The food was amazing. My wife had a full breakfast with a pancake that was bigger than her dinner plate. I had a hot roast beef sammich served on a bed of crinkle cut fries all smothered in gravy. Two drinks and a 40% tip was all less than $20. And the cook and waitress were just so dang friendly.

The owner is an awesome lady, and the staff are wonderful. It reminds you of a "CHEERS" kind of environment. Everyone knows everyone, and if you are not from there, they make you feel welcome. The food is amazing and a great deal with the quantity and the price. I recommend everyone to try. I drive an hour and a half from W.V. to get food from there.

I recommend this place to anyone. I took my girlfriend here. It was her first time. She definitely will be back. And loved there food. The prices are very hard to beat. If you have time to wait for your food to be preped the way you like. It's definitely my favorite place for breakfast!Parking: Parking infront of the building fits a small quantity. But usually u can find room on the street

Wonderful place! The wings we got were absolutely delicious, service is always great too. Prices, definitely worth the food you're getting--you can't find anywhere with prices this great for the amount of food!

I love the staff here. If you love tiny diners and a local feel with food that tastes like momma made, eat here. I get a reasonably priced breakfast here on pay weeks and it's a good treat. Highly recommend. Seating and parking is limited, but worth it.

We had the shakes and they were excellent. I'm sure all the food was good. A fun small diner with very reasonable prices. Shakes were 3.50. Worth a stop if you are in town, but a bit of a uphill ride back to the GAP trail.

This is a great place to stay while biking the GAP Trail. We showed up after getting caught out in a thunderstorm - bikes and ourselves absolutely filthy. "No problem, go ahead and take your bikes in the room, but we've got a hose if you want to rinse things off." The rooms are basic but clean, and the attached diner has great old-school fare. Definitely recommend the pancake (yes, singular - it's only slightly smaller than a manhole cover) and the 50 cent upgrade to local maple syrup is worth it. Wonderfully friendly staff, convenient location, reasonable prices - what's not to love? We'll be back.

Enjoyed a delicious big breakfast here while biking part of the Allegheny Gap Trail. This diner feels like it's still in the 1960s, but in a really good way. Old-fashioned signs, friendly people, super-generous portions of home-cooked food (GIANT pancakes, the best we've ever had!), low prices, and real local maple syrup (50 cents extra, so worth it!).

Unassuming accommodations but you get exactly what you're promised. You can't go wrong with a $70 room that you're allowed to bring your bicycle into. I was pleasantly surprised but how nicely updated the shower was in our room. Breakfast the next morning at the diner that's literally attached to the motel was quintessential American diner fare. Happy to see places like this still making a go of it!
