After multiple calls to local plumbers, Brett was the only one to call back. It was a Friday evening and we did a FaceTime call as he walked me through troubleshooting steps on my hot water heater to isolate the problem! It was still under the manufacturer's warranty for parts so he gave me the contact for a local authorized manufacturer's servicer so the parts would be covered under the warranty. I called Brett based on a referral. My main shut off valve was leaking and he instructed me through FaceTime how to correct the problem. Brett’s came to repair my mothers tub drain and redo her laundry sink water lines he did that a well and good despite accidentally cutting a water line he didn’t mean to and I was there watching him do it all and actually helped him a few times when he needed a second pair of hands. What was unprofessional about him was the fact that after he was done he never wrote out an invoice and for a whole year my mother and I have tried multiple times to get ahold of him to pay for his services and just today he sent a text to my mother saying she owed $1,600 because he couldn’t get ahold of her for a year and he made every excuse why “he changed multiple phones, family getting sick, children being born, vacations, etc”All this shows a lack of professionalism of him to complete his jobs unless he does this to all his customers so he can charge them more for “not being able to get ahold of them”

I called Brett for a gas line issue. He wasn't able to take the job but went out of his way to recommend another plumber. His recommended plumber made time in his schedule to promptly come out and provide an estimate. Brett even stopped by our house in the evening to ensure we had someone coming to look at the issue and offer support and advice. While I never wish for a plumbing issue, I look forward to calling Brett again and paying him for his services.

Home with 2 small kids and the main floor toilet is clogged. I called Brett - he was just leaving a job and headed to another but asked if we could try to do it together. Brett FaceTimed me and he walked me around my pipes, explained what he was looking at and why and also what each pipe did and why it was set up the way it was. He then patiently explained each step of the process and cheered each time I got it right. The clog cleared and I was ecstatic but then Brett went a step further. I had mentioned that the toilet was never a good flusher. He the walked me though the steps to fix that!! While fixing that he explained the type of toilet I had (brand and age specific without me telling him) and using what he noticed of the bathroom told me whenever I’m ready to replace what type of toilet to look for so I can use the existing footprint! My toilet has not worked this well in the 11 years I have lived in this house. My husband thinks I am lying about doing it myself. Brett’s willingness to take the time, use available technology and empower me to properly care for my own home is priceless. I will never call another plumber If you have any doubts about using Brett don’t - he is a shining example of a master tradesman.Service: Toilet repair

Had an issue with a toilet, and based on our last experience with a bigger company, went with Brett's Plumbing based on reviews. And time to pay it forward. He was accommodating to my schedule, did a very thorough job, and gave some welcome pointers. Absolutely a reasonable price, and the personal touch makes it all the more worth it. I had originally contacted another company that spends tons of money advertising on KDKA. I was recommended to call Brett’s Plumbing. I do not regret it. His service, knowledge and professionalism is beyond reproach. He is my first call for all my plumbing issues. I even thought my final bill would have been between $900-$1300. It was only $458. I hired Brett recently to fix a shower drain that was leaking into my kitchen ceiling. I had seen two different plumbers prior to Brett that were unable to resolve the issue. Brett gave me some instructions over the phone to diagnose what might be going on and then ultimately came out to fix the problem.He was very prompt and thorough and took care of the problem definitively within a matter of a couple of hours. His price was fair and was very professional and knowledgeable. The only downside with Brett is that he's so good that he is in high demand. But I'll hire him again.
