McCabe And Son were fantastic roofers! Scott talked us through our roofing options and helped us pick what was best for us in a thoughtful and professional manner. The price was significantly better than some of the others quotes we received and the services were more comprehensive; they replaced our skylights so they would not need to be replaced before the roof. His team, which was large, professional and friendly were on time and worked long days (7:45 to 5:30ish) so the project was completed more quickly. They were very conscientious about impacting our family as little as possible. Scott discussed the changes needed to the original quote because of underlying structural issues and addressed those issues seamlessly. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up after the job and putting things back in order. McCabe and Son were great to deal with and gave us a quality roof at a fair price. After an exhaustive search of roofing companies, we settled on McCabes' service. It was the right choice. We dealt with Scott.Scott was direct in terms of what his team would do and how he would handle the job, without the 3 hour seminar that some companies like to give and then be astronomically expensive after taking up your afternoon.Scott was honest about the job details and price and was responsive throughout the process concerning questions and timing issues. With a medium scale project to remove two layers of roof, including a cedar shake layer, the job took 2 days. Four months later, we have not had any issues and the roof looks great.

We had a number of roofers that gave us estimates on our home, which was a high pitch roof, with many little side roofs. As well, we had cedar shakes and two layers of shingles on top of that! Scott was able to convey what needed to be done, and the complications involved. He's very easy to work with, and just good people.The pricing was super competitive, and from a quality work perspective, it was fantastic.All of his employee's we met were professional and nice. As well, they did a tremendous job cleaning up two layers of shingles, and cedar shakes. Five years later the roof still looks great, and I will never use another roofer, as McCabe, is in my opinion, the best!

I contracted with McCabe Roofing to remove a 50 square cedar roof and install new plywood, baffles, asphalt shingles and gutters. Scott was transparent about the process and material choices, set expectations, was competitively priced and most importantly delivered on time and on budget. Scott and his team were meticulous in their daily clean-up and respectful of the property.About a month later we saw a water spot on the ceiling and called Scott. He showed up the same day and inspected the attic and roof. The issue was unrelated to the roof. Scott's response and professionalism through and after the job exceeded expectations. Scott McCabe is trustworthy and provides an excellent product. I highly recommend McCabe Roofing.

I highly recommend McCabe & Son roofing.I had a roof leak going on a few months; trying to find a reputable roof company has been one of the most daunting tasks - companies are either booked for months, don't call you back, or they want anywhere between 200 to 300 just to go up on the roof.I called McCabe & son today, spoke with Scott - within 20 minutes, Jim called me and said he was able to come out right away. Three years ago, I wrote a review about how happy we were with a repair that they did for us. I said we would hire them to replace our roof when the time came. Well the time came and it was a bigger job than we expected. Scott came out and inspected our roof. He determined that our plywood decking on the roof was delaminating and need to be replaced. Understandable as we believe it was original to the house which was built in 1955.Scott did a great job explaining our options. His crew was great!They gave us a new roof - took it down to the rafters, new plywood decking, new shingles, new soffits and gutters. They were efficient, friendly, protected my landscaping, cleaned up all the debris and picked up nails with a huge magnet.We felt the pricing was fair and are thrilled with how our new roof looks. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to have any roofing work done. McCabe and Son Roofing did a fabulous job for us!Original Review: During all the crazy rain we received in August/September, we discovered we had a leak in our roof. Luckily our attic isn't finished so it was easy to see where the problem was.Dave came out and gave us an estimate for the repairs. Given the nature of the repairs, he explained that we would need to wait a couple weeks for the work to be done as they were currently dealing with emergencies at other clients. We thought that was fair as our leak was managable.They came out in a couple of weeks and did the repairs as quoted. We were very satified with the work done, the amount charged and the communication with Dave.When the time comes to replace our roof, these are the people we are calling.Service: Roof installation

In my many years working both professionally and personally with contractors, I’ve never met one as thorough and conscientious as Scott McCabe. His attention to detail and outstanding communication skills made the whole construction process as smooth as possible. His contract alone is a clear primer on roofing. The craftsmanship and care with which he and his crew worked were stellar. This was particularly impressive since he had to work under difficult conditions: simultaneous town construction on an adjacent sidewalk and bad weather squeezed the schedule, but he was in constant communication as necessary adjustments were made. Scott went above and beyond the call of duty, addressing every small concern and leaving a tidy job site every night. His love for his work clearly shows in the excellent results he and his crew achieve.

UPDATE:The owner, Scott McCabe called and immediately came over. He was very apologetic and I could tell that this was not how he normally did business. Due to his efforts, I am going ahead with this company.I would like to give a zero star review but can't. I had an appointment 2 weeks ago at 9:00 on a Saturday for David to come and give me an estimate on siding repairs or replacement. He never showed up or called. After calling them and getting a return call from David, I was told he was sick. I decided to give them another chance and made another appointment for him to come out this morning at 10:30. AGAIN, he never showed up and never called with an explanation. This is no way to do business or treat potential paying customers. Don't waste your time, keep looking elsewhere!!

What can I say other than WOW. Had Scott and his guys silver coat and patch a few spots in June of 2018. Well on 6/20/19 at 1am our roof started a slight leak in a 2nd floor bedroom. The spot had leaked in the past in very heavy rains maybe once or twice a year. Nonetheless I emailed Scott at 2:30am. At 8:30am I received a phone call from him and by 9:15am he was at my house. He and his crew assessed the situation made, found the root of the issue that dated back to when the roof was orginally replaced in June of 2010. Scott took pictures with his cell phone and showed them to my wife and I. He described what the issue were, indicated how he was going to fix them. Took about an hour and the charge was very reasonable. Scott's crew was polite and respectful. A truly A+++ business that I would highly recommend. Thanks Scott......!!

I had some shingles and a pc of siding damaged by wind. its really a nuisance type job for a roofer I think? the roofer who installed the roof could'nt even look at it for 6 weeks . So I got lucky and called Mc Cabe and Son and they had it totally looking like new within 24 hours . Can’t say enough about this company! Honest and truly pride themselves in honest and hard work. I recommend them to everyone. They helped us when we had water pouring from our roof into our basement and it was a simple fix. Plus they were more cost efficient than any other place we were quoted.
