Unfortunately we had a bad experience with MKF. We hired MKF to do an addition. MKF had poor communication and was dishonest. There seemed to be problems every step of the way over 1 and a half years! The subcontractor actually ended up finishing the job for us when we parted ways with MKF. MKF still owes thousands to the subcontractor for work completed that he has not paid. MKF assured us that everybody was paid in full and there was still money left which was not the case. Luckily the subcontractor was nice and chose not to put a lien on our house since he legally could have. After dealing with other contractors, it is a night and day difference between real professionals and this company. Even though the price might seem right, please save yourself the heartache and choose someone more reputable.
