My husband and I recently discovered a leak that was potentially behind the wall of our closet in our hallway. We were told about Xtreme by another contractor and called their customer service department. The dispatcher was able to get a crew to respond within the hour. Gene and Ray got right to work! This company was so easy to deal with. My insurance company recommended them and Angela has been great. She kept me informed and made this whole insurance claim so easy and worry free for me. I do understand the importance of keeping the customer/client informed, which is huge and Angela definitely went above and beyond.The work Bill did was AMAZING 😉 my basement looks better now than before, and to my surprise the wall paint was a perfect match.Bill went above and beyond. The best thing to come out of 2020 was finding Xtreme. I had a tree fall on my detached garage and it did significant damage, including cracking the walls, ruining a light fixture, and puncturing the roof. I called multiple companies, only to have some not call me, some not show up, a few show up but never provide an estimate. A coworker recommended Xtreme and I decided to give them a call. Xtreme came out at the agreed upon time, did and sent an estimate which was the most competitive, found damage that was missed, and then completed the work. Their work exceeded my expectations by a significant amount.Later in the year, I walked to my guest bedroom to find a significant drip during a rainy day (to be clear, this was unrelated to the tree). I frantically called Xtreme (shout out to Angela for her calmness and efficiency!) and they had someone out to my house quickly. They got the drip resolved and set up the drying equipment. Each day, they would accommodate my schedule to come check the ceiling. Each time, they showed up exactly at the agreed upon time and every employee I dealt with was extremely personable and patiently explained things to me (I know next to nothing in these realms).Sometimes when dealing with repairs, you have to pick your priorities. Is customer service/responsiveness more important competitive pricing? What about quality? I cannot emphasis enough how Xtreme is the whole package. Responsive with excellent customer service while performing excellent work at a fair price. I highly recommend!

I’ve used Xtreme three times - once for restoration, once at my mom’s for various minor jobs and most recently for a porch roof addition. We own an older house and we had two pipes burst over a year apart. Called them up they came and gave us an estimate in no time walked us thru what was going to be replaced and why it was getting replaced.we had carpet replaced flooring in our kitchen replaced and the work was very well done and The work was done when i was told it was gonna be done. There employees were very friendly and knowledgeable and always on time even made an emergency evening repair to get us thru the night when the pipes burst. I will be having xtreme do a bathroom remodal and a few other things done to our new house. Never knew when they’d appear. They came from two counties away. Spent only an average of 4-5 hours per day on job, if showed up, balance was in travel and warehouse time. Only one of them knew what to do other was training. The job was for water damage, mold and remodel for handicap use of bathroom.Liberty Mutual Insurance stated my need to use this outfit or may not pay. Had to have a plumber come in to complete their error. Had electrical issues, flickering lights! Didn’t put appliances back correctly, can’t use drawers under washer and dryer.Got rid of things without authorization, I could go on. I don't normally review businesses, but I am taking the time to write this now to warn others not to trust this company with their belongings.My roommate and I experienced a house fire in February, and our insurance company hired Xtreme Home Improvement to do our restoration work. Having never experienced anything like this, we trusted our insurance company's recommendation. The workers seemed nice and explained what to expect. We went over items that were unsalvageable, they promised to keep track of everything they threw away for our claim, and we let them pack up our things believing them to be professionals and experts. A little over two weeks later our things were delivered to our new residence. Immediately we noticed dirty things being carried in, items that we were told were unsalvageable were returned, we were given stories about how hard they worked to clean the things that were visibly not clean. Within a matter of hours, it was evident that we'd been taken advantage of. They didn't clean the contents of a single box, and merely wiped down a few items like floor lamps and floor fans. As we unpacked, we found damp and ruined items packed amongst our things. The free-standing cloth closet that had taken a direct hit of water was packed inside my heirloom cedar chest beside my keepsakes. They returned our dish drying rack inside a dirty litter box. They badly damaged my bed frame. They destroyed my brand new orthotic shoes by rolling them up. And to make matters worse, because nothing had been cleaned or reboxed, our new home began to reek of plastic smoke. We had to unbox and clean everything ourselves urgently to prevent further damage to our new place. Anything that we couldn't clean ourselves, that could've been saved with professional tools was lost to us. What's more, many items that were not damaged in the fire/resulting water were never returned to us, things like a rice cooker, immersion blender, blood pressure cuff, back brace, a heating pad... the list goes on.To make matters worse, when we received their invoice, they charged us more than double what we had been told to expect. In fact, they charged us more than we had left in our policy. As a result, we have yet to receive any compensation for our losses as our insurance company negotiates the price. I have photos to prove every word of my statement, but evidently Xtreme Home Improvement's contract with our insurance company guarantees them the right to "try again" if a customer is unsatisfied with their work. The request to re-clean, came several weeks after our items were returned... in the middle of a pandemic. I am disabled and have an autoimmune disease that makes COVID-19 especially dangerous to me, combined with the loss and damage Xtreme Home Improvement perpetrated, and the time that had already elapsed during which we'd be forced to clean or throw everything away ourselves, we declined their offer, so the struggle continues. They also didn't keep a list of items they threw away, and only listed the handful of large furniture pieces they trashed, so we are having problems with our claims list.I also think it is important to warn people about their billing practices. It's my belief that anyone who has ever had work done by this company should check their invoice line by line, as we discovered numerous discrepancies including an up charge in taxes between $0.01 and $22.44 on nearly every line item. They also charged us for the materials to repack our items in clean boxes, which we know they did not do.Ultimately, we feel this company preyed upon our ignorance of this process and took advantage of us. We are waiting to find out if this situation can be FAIRLY resolved by the insurance company before we bring in our lawyer.Please be careful when hiring these contractors!

The other night while I was doing laundry, Greg and I started smelling plastic burning and ash. I went into the laundry room knowing it had to be in there and sure enough, the smell was rolling from our breaker box. I instantly shut the dryer off and we checked the walls to make sure we didn't have a wall fire going. Luckily, we caught everything in the nick of time. I instantly started panicking because one, my ultimate fear is a house fire and two, we really don't have the money to fix an entire breaker box especially with our sons expensive medication coming up soon. I picked up the phone and contacted Rob at Xtreme Home Improvement. It was later in the evening and I didn't think I'd get such a quick response, but I did! He advised me what to do to ensure we wouldn't have any over night issues and then the next morning, I contacted Angela to set up an appointment. I was not expecting someone to come out that day as Xtreme is always in high demand but sure enough, within about an hour or so, Dennis and another gentlemen were at my door. They assessed our issues, got the parts and had the problem fixed in no time. He didn't waste time and he only fixed the issue at hand, he didn't gouge us and try to talk us into stuff that we didn't need. I explained to him my fears and asked if we should have any ongoing issues. He took the time to explain everything to me and even went one step farther to inspect our fire extinguisher to make sure it was safe for electrical use. He also didn't mind the fact that my dog is a nosey jerk and barks a lot, he took the time to pet lou to also help him feel at ease because a dogs life is SO stressful 🙄 The Xtreme team is by far, the most honest, reliable and trustworthy company eastern PA has seen in a long time. Although these guys are in high demand, they will always make sure to fit small jobs in and ensure that families are kept safe and taken care of. I'm really grateful to know Ang and Rob but I'm also super thankful that they single handedly built their business on morals and compassion, something most companies lack these days. Their guys are also highly trained professionals, including being sent out for classes so they can do their jobs at 100% efficiency. Friends or not, this company is outstanding and God forbid we ever run into another small or large situation, these will be the guys I turn to.If you are in need of help, no matter the job, please call Angela to set up your appointment. They also work with insurance companies to make your life easier in a crisis. I cannot give enough kudos to this team!

Very professional, explained everything that they were going to do and the process well. Had a leak from my toilet onto my kitchen ceiling. They removed drywall, dryed everything and double checked to make sure I wouldn't have any future issues. Price was reasonable as well. Just to begin I would like to emphasize how I have worked with many many companies for home improvements, maintenance work, plumbing and so on. NONE have met and exceeded all of my expectations as xtreme home improvements has.My husband And I bought a house and of course, had several issues, when our kids bedroom began to leak, we were referred to xtreme home improvements. Winter was starting and they had plenty of other work to get done and they still fit me in their schedule to start the work before snow started.Angie made every effort from day 1 to work with my availability, estimate and budgeting was all carefully done and discussed with her so we knew exactly what we had to work with. She and I had endless discussions on how to make sure we were fully satisfied with our quote as well as the work being done And as early as possible. She always made sure to clear with me anything before a specific work needed done, and to explain the process and any wait times, while preparing me for the wait? I didn’t have to. She once again made it work and the work is almost complete already! She’s also incredibly patient and helpful, I made mistakes for payment several times and she helped me fix them (no matter how many times it took) and with the most positive attitude!Dennis and ray, were exceptional. I felt comfortable being home with my kids or running errands while they were in my home, they worked so hard and with deep knowledge walked me through every step of the work being done.
