Ben and his co-workers Ian & Dave did a wonderful job installing our new kitchen cabinets, kitchen floor, and installing our new appliances. Ben also did a great job replacing shut off valves that were old and needed replacing and installing new water line and valve for our refrigerator. Ben also did a great job installing new kitchen lighting and switches. He also brought our outlets up to code and installed new wiring for our stove because we had the location moved in our remodeling design. Work was also done in our family room that went beyond what we had planned. We originally thought that our ceiling drywall was damaged prior to us replacing the roof only to find out that we still had a problem that Ben explained and repaired. A larger area of drywall had to be replaced and it was done efficiently and helped make our family room look great along with the new flooring that they laid down. Ben's work is done and we are planning on finishing touches to our family room in the near future. I have seen all of the work Ben completed for family members: kitchen and bath remodels, back splash tiling, roofing repairs. He recently completed a laundry room sub floor repair, tile work, and installation of a hot water heater for me. His work is impeccable. He offered a reasonable estimate, and the work was completed within one day. He carefully cleaned up and hauled away almost 400 pounds of concrete! My laundry room looks better than it ever has, and I have nothing but the highest praise for Ben's work! I will definitely use his services again in the future!

Ben just remodeled our hall bathroom (in our house, it's the most widely used bathroom) and finished last week (06/19). My wife said to me when he left Friday "this turned out even better than I had imagined it would!". Ben was on time every day and always kept us "in the know." His work is terrific, and his professionalism and friendliness are an added bonus. Regarding his craft, Ben's attention to detail and thoroughness is exemplary. I have already told him to expect us to be on his calendar quite a bit in the future. Ben was highly recommended to me by some friends and now I see why.

I have used Ben Stutzman for several jobs in my home. They include removing, replacing and painting 13 interior doors, painting my dreary basement paneling and replacing the dropped ceiling to give my basement an updated look, removing the floor in my powder room, laundry room area and installing porcelain tile. I have always been very satisfied with Ben's work. He and his workers work efficiently and do a great job. He can do just about everything. I will certainly use him in the future, and I would recommend him to anyone in need of a trustworthy handyman who does a great job.

Ben completed work on our deck and around some of our windows where the wood was rotting. Additionally he did some electrical work for us. We are extremely pleased with the quality of his work which was completed very quickly and efficiently and is exactly what we wanted. Ben did an amazing job on my master bathroom remodel. He communicated great, did beautiful work, and out of the 5 quotes we got he was very reasonably priced. I’d also like to note in reference to his only negative comment regarding the 20% increase in price. I’ve worked in a construction industry doing billing and 20% is not high at all. It is actually pretty common practice for many contractors to make this overhead and profit percentage 30%. Just be aware that in the majority of home maintenance services, if you are utilizing materials for the work that could calculated and picked out by you, but you are having the service do this for you overhead and profit will be applied.

We hired Ben Stutzman for some remodeling work in our bathroom, and we're happy with the results. Our tub and shower look beautiful. We did notice a few minor scratch marks on the tile, but nothing to get worked up about.The one complaint I have is he didn't mention up front that he charges a 20% markup on materials. He encouraged us to pick out our tile at the store and then let him order it and pick it up. We could have easily brought the tile home from the store and saved quite a bit of money. Before putting in the order, he told us what the total cost of the tile was going to be, and I asked him twice why it seemed higher than it should be based on the prices we saw at the store, but he still didn't mention the markup. I agreed to go ahead with the order anyway even though the numbers weren't adding up--that was my mistake.I now understand that this is a common practice among contractors (although I'm told that 20% is high). But I feel that he should have mentioned the markup when I asked about the tile cost.
