Alex and his team did a wonderful job in every way. The contract was detailed and the estimate was accurate. Alex remained in close contact with us throughout the job to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Alex is meticulous and takes great pride in his work. His work is beautifully done. He is very experienced in many types of contracting, allowing him to offer creative suggestions and solve difficult problems with great skill. The work is neat, clean, efficient, reliable, with arrival on time, and finishing according to contract. We had Artech our to replace Our wooden back stairs. Alex and his crew did a great job, were very reasonably priced and got the work done beautifully and quickly. They cleaned up great, too.When we noticed a few small issues, Alex came back out first thing the next morning to correct them, and do some additional finishing work.We would definitely use them again for future projects!

Professional! We had a number of small jobs including outdoor siding, interior plaster removal, mold control and insulation and repair of a damaged ceiling. All jobs were completed in a timely manner at a very reasonable price and to a very professional degree, so glad that I found Artech and Alexander! It was really nice working with a company that can do it all! I will definitely be using Artech again in the future!

I cannot express how much I love using Artech! I love their work, professionalism, and accuracy. I have used them for a lower roof over my front door, to repair my basement bathroom, and to add a closet to my bathroom. Recently I acquired them to mount a tv. We had an unfortunate experience with Artech for a bathroom remodel. We had Alex and his team complete a project in our basement to include some sister beams to add extra support to our first floor. We had such a wonderful experience and was excited to hire Alex and his team again for a project. We hired Artech for our main bathroom remodel in February of 2021. We were put on the schedule about a month or so out. We were anxious for the project to start but understood there may be some delays due to material and worker shortage. We had to move out of our house temporarily since we were doing a full bathroom remodel and this was the only bathroom that we have in the house. The project was expected to be approximately two weeks and wound up being 4 weeks. This wouldn’t have been an issue but was for us because we were living with family and friends during this time. Alex is very knowledgeable and during the demo and renovation, we checked in with Alex and everything was going to plan. Alex and his team are very trustworthy and do take good care of your home. We were very pleased as the work was being completed. As we got to the end, and the final touches were being completed, we asked if we could go over a few things that we would like addressed: nail pops in the ceiling, rough walls, noticeable taping where the drywall met, scratches on the floors. Alex became frustrated that we were criticizing his work. I understand that Alex is very proud of his work, however, to be a great business owner, you need to listen to your customers, be patient and come to a solution. At this point we noticed that the towel rack was not heating up. Alex worked with us to troubleshoot this issue and in result a pipe burst behind the wall and water started to leak through the floor and through our dining room ceiling. Alex was very apologetic and fixed the wall and drywall but couldn’t find the problem and told us that we should reach out to a plumber. We paid Alex the remaining cost of the project minus how much the repairs for the heater could possibly be. We called a plumber, and they were able to address the issue within a few hours. The project “ended” and we reached out to Alex to see if we could meet to discuss how some of the outstanding items could be addressed and come to some sort of agreement. We never heard back. The drywall, taping and painting is very sloppy, we have chips on the marble slabs going into the shower, the sink was leaking (which we were able to fix ourselves) and most of all, the entire black marble floor is scratched up so badly that we need to get a professional out to address the issue. This will likely have to be sanded down and sealed. There are other things here and there that we also would have liked to be addressed as well. I do believe that Artech is a good company, however, the experience that we had for this renovation was extremely disappointing. I thought that we built a good working relationship with Alex and his team, but we were wrong. We spent a lot of money for the materials and renovation of this project and although everything behind the walls may be done correctly (hopefully), the finishing of this bathroom is very messy and amateur.Service: Remodeling
