He communicated with us every part of the process and did it in a very timely fashion. Was direct and forward with his initial price quote and time frame of the job and carried through on all parts. We just moved into the area and needed a new trustworthy contractor. We searched online to start our journey. After having three companies give us quotes, Ray was hands down the most professional and friendly of them all. His people were kind and courteous and super knowledgeable. Our deck was built in a very timely manner and right on schedule. Ray and his crew made us feel very comfortable and at ease. Even our dog Mollly loved them and was excited to see them each morning. I hired Ray in January 2021 to do a remodeling project for my bathroom and kitchen. The expected finish time was for February, I understand due to the pandemic projects could be pushed for a little later. However, Ray stopped answering my phone calls and only did the rough-in plumbing for my bathroom as opposed to remodeling my bathroom like we had originally arranged. I honestly believed Ray was trustworthy but I never had an experience with a contractor that not only stopped answering your phone calls especially to see when they would continue with a project but also decide to never return your keys. I had to get new locks because of this contractor. If you're looking for someone to actually do a project on time, look elsewhere.Service: Remodeling

Please look up my complaint on BBB reviews.We hired Ray on August 1st 2016 to help us build a new deck onto our home. We hired for several reasons: he was licensed, good price, and a promise of a quick deadline being met for us. We were in the process of selling our home and needed our deck to pass a U&O inspection and Ray promised that he could do the job quickly and up to code. He did the permit papers and got them back on August 10th after it took him 3 days to submit. It took him until August 20th to even start and tear down the deck and build the deck. We still had high hopes because he told us it would only take him 3 days to wrap up the deck. We were promised that the deck would be completed on Tuesday the 23rd. We traveled from our current home to this house which was 3 hours away. Ray knew we had to travel. We were promised to have the deck completed by 2:00pm with the final inspection for the codes standard to be met and then we would pay him the rest of the amount owed to him. Once we got there the deck was not finished and the inspector was not going to show up again that day to view the rest of the work because he was already there that morning. Our contractor then said if we did not pay him that day he was not going to finish the deck. Even though it was agreed that deck MUST be finished and inspected before final payment. He then began to bully us into trying to get paid by saying that the deck’s last items to be finished would be an unsure date because we did not pay him. Essentially, He was trying to cover up the fact that he was lying to us because he had to still either obtain a special drill tool or hire out to finish the bolts in the deck. Then he said that he would finish up the next day if we paid him an extra $500. He knew we were up against the wall and needed this done ASAP so as to not miss our settlement day. Oh, and we shouldn’t expect him to schedule any final code inspection before he gets paid!!! Which in turn means NO U&O report for us. He did a 180 shortly after we argued with him and said he would have it done the next day. The next day he nonchalantly called us and said it can’t be done until the following week! I told him I am recording all our calls because he continued to spin tales out of his mouth. Miraculously, he got his act together and we had a fully completed deck with inspection by that Friday. We would have been 100% satisfied with him and even with the delayed work because our borough is no picnic, but his sudden bullying and lying is what done him in.

Very freidly and courtios on time very profesional neat and clean , Installed bamboo flooring throughout my house and remodeled my master bath. finish ahead of schedule and within quoted price. Very satisfied would recommend.
