The Expert General Contracting team built us an amazing deck! Mike was patient and insightful as we worked through the design of the deck. Every time we came up with a change to the layout or something we wanted incorporated into the deck his response was "yes, we can do that." Once we settled on the design the team moved quickly to get materials and build the deck. Anything we weren't 100% happy with during the build they immediately addressed, leaving us with exactly the deck we hoped for at a great price! If you're looking for a deck builder I highly recommend the Expert team!

I was in the market for a deck preferably trex. I received an estimate from another contractor ( someone i personally knew ) and was most likely going to except. My neighbor who is also a contractor told me about Expert Decks. Although my neighbor has never had work done by Expert Contractors he said he has seen his work throughout our neighborhood and told be Expert does great quality work. My neighbor also pointed out one of our neighbors who had work done. I contacted my neighbor who said Expert Decks were on time every day and that he and his wife loved the work they had done. I contacted Mike and set up an appointment for an estimate and the rest is history. My wife and I love our new deck and can’t wait to entertain.

We highly recommend Expert General Contracting! We hired them to demolish an existing deck in disrepair and rebuild a new one. Mike, the owner, was easy to get a hold of, communicate with, and worked with us through the entire process till finish.He and his crew helped us from the beginning with design, and took care of all of the drawings and permitting with the township. He was responsive to concerns we had about existing issues with our house where the deck attaches to the soffit. They did a great job making repairs as needed to ensure things were done right. The company also worked around an existing hot tub and rerouted its electrical system that was attached to the previous deck.We absolutely love our new deck!! and can’t wait to use it daily when the weather warms. It has absolute sturdy construction, it is beautiful day, and night with beautiful ambient lighting. Mike and his team were wonderful to work with. It started with a quick reply to my initial request for a quote. He presented some thoughts and helped pick the perfect colors and options (including lights on the posts). Then, his team completed demo and construction in only a few days. Despite an electrical issue, they figured out a great fix and got the lights working. All of this for a price thousands less than the other quote I received. Mike and his team did a great job renovating my kitchen. Not only did they do the work, Mike offered ideas and helped plan the layout. In the process of redoing my kitchen they had to take out a closet, put in a weight bearing beam, change duct work, move the sink, replace windows, new floors, new cabinets, you name it they did it! Mike and his crew built a 20x20 roof on our already installed cement patio slab. We absolutely love our new outside living space. They installed two ceiling fans, four recessed lights and a 65" TV to make this area a true oasis. They were professional and prompt and they did excellent work. First I like to start off by saying the people at Expert General Contracting,was very nice and professional and they answered all my questions.The work that they do and the finishing touch touch is incredible.So if you want a new deck or you know somebody please use these guy,they are honest and trust worthy and stand behind there work.I have 2 relatives who want to use them as we speak.Just time take time and look at their work and call them.You won’t be disappointed.before and after pictures will come shortly.They finished the job in about a week,the cleanup is spotless.So what the heck get a new deck.

Within two weeks, the team completed demolition, put up a brand new frame, and fully finished a new, larger, beautiful composite deck! During construction we pointed out a minor concern, and Mike was very responsive and quickly corrected the issue. We have been enjoying the deck thoroughly during the nice spring weather.
