I'm telling you: book with Hawthorne Painting. I can't say enough great things about John, Don, and the entire team. We bought our first home and the entire outside and nearly all of the inside needed a revamp. John was extremely kind and communicative from day one and that remained true throughout the project. The same is true of the foreman, Don, and his team. We couldn't be happier with the process, pricing, customer service, and very importantly, the beautiful results. We will absolutely come back to Hawthorne for any future projects and highly recommend them!

Inexperienced workers did poor job. They missed some spots on the wall slightly and failed to notice leaving the wall look uneven. They should've redone this but they didn't do it and just left. Its disappointing, not very recommended.

Used Hawthorne Painting to prepare my condo for sale. John was prompt, professional and communicated well. He provided a detailed quote and was flexible and responsive about providing some touch ups at my request. As a caveat, make sure to discuss specific details of the job, as walls are considered separately from doors, wood trim, etc. I had an overall smooth and easy experience with the team and they did a nice, clean job with no stray paint and nice crisp lines.Service: Interior painting

John responded to my request for quote quickly and had his team over within a few days. His team did an AMAZING job painting our whole house and even helped match our stain on some woodwork we had redone in the house. John and his crew just completed the second project in our new home. Last summer, they refurbished our roof deck. They power washed the entire surface, did minor repairs and then restrained the deck. Our 7 year old roof deck now looks brand new. In January, John came back to do interior painting. John is a perfectionist -- repairing the walls and woodwork so that once the painting began a good result was achieved. The results are amazing!Hawthorne Painting is by far the best painter, I have ever used. They show up when they say they will, they took great care protecting our furniture and artwork, they cleaned up at the end of each day and are exceptionally easy to work with. Pricing is fair, excellent communications, reliable and take great care in making sure that the job is done right and that the customer is satisfied. They are the BEST! Highly recommended.

I had a very good experience from the initial meeting with John for pricing until the job was completed. He introduced me to his crew on the first day and they were all very mature, and professional. My job was exterior painting of shutters, trim and doors on a 200 year old, four floor historic house, plus stucco in the back. The crew was here for 3.5 days and the job was completed to my satisfaction. I would contract with Hawthorne again and have already recommended them to others.

Hawthorne Painting just finished painting the exterior of my historic townhouse in Queen Village. Stucco, shutters, door,three story house. They finished everything but a few little details in three days, sent a crew of six people each day. All the workers and foremen were terrific, they worked incredibly hard even in the extreme heat this week, were completely professional, and did a stunning job. They cleaned everything up carefully each day and even washed my windows when they were finished. Neighbors and strangers have been stopping by to say how great the house looks and taking pictures. John, the owner of the company, lives locally and stopped by each day to make sure all the details were being taken care of, and responded quickly every time I communicated with him.
