I was completely happy with my experience working with JBX Roofing! I had them install a rubber roof onto my West Philly twin. I have to say, I've worked with a lot of Philly-area contractors and getting them to respond to an email or text message is usually impossible, or takes days. I was really impressed by how responsive John was. I knew if I messaged him I'd get a response. I'll also add that the quote came in way more reasonable than the other two quotes I received. The crew that did the install was polite and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend.

John and team are great! JBX was quick to do an estimate and explain what neededto be done. The day of repairs, they got to work (on time) and spent the entire day fixing our roof that was done incorrectly by a previous roofer (leaking in multiple places). The team installed new insulation, gutters and rubber - our roof looks clean and better than it ever has. We felt the pricing was fair, especially for the scope of work that had to be done. Thanks JBX, would definitely recommend!

I have two rental houses in NJ that needed TLC before the summer season. JBX Roofing recommended some metal capping work when they came for their next day estimate. I was impressed with how thorough the estimate procedure was. John took his time to explain everything in detail and also showed me photos and videos that are not posted on his website. After many failed attempts and overpriced quotes from other roofers, we finally found JBX.John and the JBX crew were a pleasure to work with. John is very professional, honest, and stands by his work. They removed a skylight that was a constant source of trouble for us. They were able to cover up our old skylight hole, install the proper roofing materials over it, install a new copper drain box, and seal the roof properly - all within a days work.John was always easy to get in touch with, and kept us informed throughout the project. He ID’ed the issues that the other company messed up immediately (what a relief) and it was thankfully an easy fix for this true professional. We had a major issue with our gutters and this company helped us. The gutters weren’t just clogged, they were close to bursting and close to causing serious damage to our house. When JBX came out to give an estimate, they sensed the urgency of the situation and accommodated us NEXT DAY. They were able to totally revamp the outdoor drainage system. They work just so well and the timing was perfect (ahh, those April showers!!!). Also can’t forget to mention how nice they look, very professional.

We had thought my mother in-law used JBX for her roof. John , the owner, said they did not but thought it might be another roofer that also works in that neighborhood. He actually called them for us and was correct in his assumption. We were so impressed by this we wanted him to do the work but he declined knowing it would have voided the warranty from the other company. So while he didn’t do work for us we needed to leave this review as a thank you for the honesty and for helping us when he certainly didn’t have to.

I was in need of a new roof so I began researching and gathering estimates from contractors. JBX Roofing stood out among the others due to their professionalism and customer service. John took the time to answer my questions (which were many) and quickly addressed any concerns. The estimate provided was reasonable. On the day of installation, the workers arrived on time and completed the job within the estimated timeframe. Since the installation of my roof (December 2023) we have experienced some snow storms and quite a few rainy days, and as of the date of this review, we have not had any leaks! We were referred to JBX Roofing by a friend who had a great experience with Johnny and his crew. We called him, he answered, showed up when he said he would, educated my husband and I on the issues happening on our flat roof.I called Johnny and 8 other roofers in the area and only one returned my call, another answered and said text me this info ( I understand he’s most likely on a roof but let it go to VM) and a few just sounded like scam style companies trying to up sell you and finance your life away.His pricing was reasonable. He educated us on the products he uses and the warranties behind them.The day of the job came, he was on the roof and working at the time he said. We could not be there for the entirety of the job due to work but he was in communication with us both and sent photos of the progress and final results.We were very happy with Johnny and our experience with JBX. I would recommend him to anyone looking for shingle or flat roof work in the area.

Our roof was in pretty bad shape and we started to shop around for estimates. When we contacted JBX , John the owner was very understanding of our situation and immediately scheduled a review to complete an estimate. Following acceptance of the estimate John had himself and crew out within days to start the roof replacement. During the whole process everyone at JBX was professional, courteous and informative. The house needed several new decking boards due to rot and John kept us in the know on all the changes and provided pictures throughout to show the work completed. After the roof and gutters were completed the crew cleaned up the entire surrounding area as if they were never there. We just had another rain storm and we are thrilled and relieved with the craftsmanship provided in our new roof. Had an awesome experience with JBX Roofing. We got 4 roofing quotes and John stood out right away. He cut right to the chase, answered all my questions, and was able to schedule the project within 1-2 weeks from the quote time. I also appreciated that he didn't have a lengthy presentation to go through during the quoting process. I'm sure this helps sell some folks on a company, but I don't have time to watch your power point and it immediately gives me the impression that your quote will be inflated to cover all these bells and whistles.John and his team were able to do the entire project in a single day (new roof and gutters), which made his price very competitive compared to all other quotes, who would have relied on a separate crew to do the gutter work on a 2nd follow up day. John also sent drone pictures of their work throughout the day to show progress which was a super nice touch. The crew was here by 7am and were doing final clean up until around 5pm, so a long day but truly awesome work. Really happy we found JBX and definitely recommend John for any roofing work you may have.
