Used to be good, but not true anymore. Overpromises and underdelivers then gives you the run around until you give up.His 10 year warranty he lists on the quotes isn't real. Just repeatedly says he's coming then never shows.Looks like he changed the name of the company too to avoid the bad reviews. This was Ludwig's Roofing & Exteriors.

There are certainly worse roofers out there than Elias and his company Ludwigs Roofing and Exteriors but I just still have to caution anyone from trusting this company to handle any contract work. I paid him to perform a 40k+ synthetic slate installation and things started off well. Elias was courteous and showed up as he said and even worked together with his crew. There were some quality issues along the way I pointed out and he was willing to fix and did. The problems started towards the end of the job when he was requesting additional up front funds for instance to pay for gutters. I obliged his request and paid over 3k for the gutters but sadly after many requests never had those installed, nor have I received any type of refund. Additionally I was experiencing some leaks inside my newly completed home coming from the brand new roof they installed. After 5 requests over several weeks and broken promises to come out and fix I finally gave up on Elias and hired another roofer to come out to make the necessary repairs and install the gutters. Since I thought maybe Elias was simply going through a tough time I tried to work with him and ask if he could refund my money in small increments, which at first he agreed to, then he said he would do some other work for free but not surprisingly after several reminders to him nothing came through and Elias has proven his Roofing company is one that 6 o clock news stories about contractors are made out of. He's a young guy and may be able to turn it around but without a foundation of pride I your trade and integrity this is doubtful.Services: Skylight installation, Roof installation
