After damage to my downstairs ceilings in every room and the walls from a bathroom leak I hired recommended New Era to repair the damages. I also had them replace my upstairs bathroom toilet and install a new one. The workers were very professional and everything they’ve worked on was beyond my expectations. The staff always arrived on time and even called me to let me know they were on the way. The materials and paints used were good quality and I was especially amazed of how they matched my hard to find wall paint coloring perfectly. We need more friendly and loyal workers like the ones at New Era Construction. The price for the job was a fair price and I had no complaints. I highly recommend this company for anyone in need of great service to repair their homes.

Kamau and his team at New Era helped me navigate through a first-time home owner's worst nightmare: a dangerous home remodel done by the previous owner that was left as my burden to bear. He was always very responsive, willing to answer all of my questions, analytical, always erring on the side of caution with his decisions, and he and his team are extremely professional. Kamau personally visited my home multiple times during the project and made sure his guys were doing everything correctly and following the permit drawings to a T. As a carpenter and contractor himself, Kamau always inspected the methods and materials being used on the project to make sure they met or exceeded his standards as well. He went out of his way to create custom trim work for my house when requested, and his prices are fair for a client who wants peace of mind and a builder who stands behind their work. Most importantly, New Era Construction is LICENSED AND INSURED. This is a detail that may be overlooked, but it can save your life. He works with a licensed architect and structural engineer on his projects, as needed who are also very pleasant to work with and competent in their fields, and I can tell that they all care about not just doing a good job, but doing a SAFE job. I highly recommend New Era Construction for any home renovation/remodel projects in the Philly area.

I was fortunate enough to be referred to Kamau by a family friend whose recommendation means the world to me. So, my expectations were HIGH. Kamau and team did not disappoint!! Work was done on time, communication was consistent and clear, most importantly and impressively they took my little broke down house and made the walls throughout look brand new—drywall throughout and the house was transformed! I wish all contractors were clones of Kamau.

New ERA Construction & Management replied immediately to my emergency request to renovate the bathroom. The bathroom was in terrible condition with plumbing and construction issues that he addressed immediately.Mr. Floyd was very professional and patient with our questions and concerns. He identified the various problems and outlined the solutions to resolve the various issues.The renovations were completed ahead of time and according to what was discussed.I have used Mr. Floyd's firm on several projects and highly recommend him for any renovation, plumbing, roofing, painting and electrical work that one needs to be done.

Please don't buy any houses that they built. My inspector found out several problems and they promised me they would fix. However, they keep giving different excuses (bad weather, out of material, or even loss of family) to delay the repair. They are so difficult to work with. They barely answer your call or any email. They would try to waste your time until you give up to them.
