I had a great experience with Primo. They were the fastest to reach out for an estimate to address a leak in the flat section of my roof. Their turnaround for an estimate was also quick.Their pricing was very reasonable and the repairs/new coating has prevented leaks. The work was done in mid-december. After the rainy and snowy January we have had, I am happy to report no leaks.

Primo roofing is the best! I had a leak in my roof which resulted in the garage sheet rock collapsing. Called primo roofing and they came out immediately provided a fair quote (I got 2 others to compare) and within a week or maybe less I had a brand new roof! What amazed me is their attention to detail and clean up. I have 2 dogs so nails were a big concern. Primo Roofing did an excellent job. We highly recommend working with this family-owned company, originally recommended to us by a center city friend who works in real estate.We live in a tight center city neighborhood, and access to our roof deck was very challenging. They removed our decking, installed a new modified bitumen deck, came back a couple months later and applied 2 coats of ultraflex coating to unify the roof. They had to work around AC units and very limited access. It was not an easy job. The quality of the work seems excellent, and they were very professional and careful with their work. Primo also applied an aluminum silver coating to our main roof for maintenance purposes.We worked primarily with Joe Jr. and found him to be very knowledgeable, creative, good at explaining, and up to the challenge. The price was good - perhaps you could find cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Primo is quality workmanship.Services: Roof inspection, Roof repair

These folks did a fantastic job repairing our roof that was in very poor condition due to our lack of knowledge on what type of roof was installed and what type of prices are fair. I had about 3 folks come and take a look at the roof and one of them bailed saying it was too much work despite being told on the phone the roof was in bad condition and showing up 1 hour before the appointment. The other companies did not even bring a ladder and had to go inside my home to give me a price which seemed kind of sketchy since he didn't even bother measuring the work area or telling me what type of stuff they would be doing there. Finally came this man with a freaking notebook, measuring tape, and a ladder before I could even suggest to use our ladder to avoid them coming inside (I have guard dogs). He went up there and pointed out every issue that both of the roof sections had and didn't even give me a price. I immediately had a good feeling about this company after my experience with the guy. Later that evening, we got detailed list of all the work that would be done on both work areas and a few weeks later (bad weather) they came and did a spectacular job that immediately made glad I went with them. This company was Primo Roofing and Solar and I highly recommend them.You folks made this very stressed first time home owner feel a lot less stressed.Service: Roof repair

We had a bad roof leak, leading to water dripping into our master bedroom. We had repairs done twice by another roofing company, which had not worked. That roofing company at that point said we would have to replace the whole roof, which is only 7 years old. Another company said the same. Primo was recommended to us by our contractor.Joe was punctual and talked us through everything. He was very open about the issues we have and offered to perform another repair. He did not guarantee it would work, but was willing to give it a try instead of going straight to replacement. He was able to do it within a week and so far no water in the house! Thanks Primo!!

I have to say after many recommendations for Primo we went with them to do our roof replacement. The reason I am giving two stars are very specific. Communication with them was always initiated by me, we did not find out they would be doing the replacement the day before they showed up after I had called them. The second and main reason I am doing the two star review, I had a roof hatch that allowed me access to my roof. Primo said they would replace the hatch, on the estimate they had a skylight replacement at $2,000. When this was installed I lost all access to my roof, I made it known to Primo that this was not a replacment for what I had previously. They were supposed to get back with me for options to get my roof access back. it has been over ten days from that conversation. I was hoping they would call back with some options and they have not done so. If you go with Primo be careful and make sure you are extremely specific about your needs.Services: Roof repair, Skylight installation

I don't usually write these types of things, but when someone takes care of me I like to try to take care of them. I almost avoided getting my roof fixed altogether if it meant I could escape the types of unreliable and shoddy work I've dealt with countless times in Philadelphia. A friend recommended Primo and from the start Joe was prompt to our meetings, knowledgeable about his work, (very) reasonable with his estimates, and honest in his promises. Throughout the process he was attentive and flexible and his team was efficient and clean. I'm honestly shocked at how easy it was to get such quality work in this city. For the first time I'm going to keep a contractor's number in my phone because I know I can trust them if I need their help again in the future. Although looking at Joe's work I don't think I'll need them again anytime soon!

I work as a property manager and we use Primo Roofing whenever we have a roof leak. They are very good, always professional and fairly priced. Whether it is a patch or a new roof Primo is the company that we call first whenever we have a roof issue. They have stopped leaks that other roofers worked on for years and they always stand by their work. They do it the right way or not at all, if they put their name on the job then your roof will not leak. If they schedule a visit they show up, we have never had a no show which is rare in this business.

Primo Roofing went above and beyond. I found myself seeing water in an upstairs bedroom. I called numerous roofing companies to come out as I was worried. The owner of Primo came out late in the day after the other 2 companies told me they could come out for a few days. The next day, the crew started work and coated the roof. They were courteous and professional. We haven't had any more water coming in and they warrantied the job. I highly recommend this company to anyone in the Philadelphia area. I am so confident with this company that the company I work for hired them to redo the entire roof of a 10,000 sf building.
