I called Malcolm to come give me a quote to install an over the range microwave. He lied to me about my over the range microwave not having the capability to connect to the ductwork to vent outside. When I told him that the store associate I bought it from confirmed that it could, he asked if the store associate was "a female" because "she might not know what she was talking about." I'm not sure why he thought that this unsolicited and overtly sexist nonsense would endear me to him, but the store associate did know what she was talking about. The installation manual explicitly shows that the microwave can connect to the ductwork to vent to the outside, just like I bought it to do. The whole interaction was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable, and he wouldn't even consider that the microwave could do what it was designed to do. This is not at all what I was expecting considering all of the glowing reviews that he has.

I called Proso Handyman, LLC when I needed a light and fan installed in our kitchen. Malcom came to do the work. I was so impressed in his efficiency and knowledge that I asked him to help with a plumbing issue. He was going to just fix the leak in an upstairs bathroom but he does such great work I had him replace the entire tub. Malcom is professional and takes pride in his work and had a calming effect on me. He is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, answered my questions, and provided information I needed to make informed decisions while I was out of town. He goes above and beyond for his customers. His attitude was always positive, he was on time, hard-working, and cleaned up when he was done and gave me the sense of trust I needed. Not only does he seem to do everything, he does everything well. I love Proso Handyman for doing such excellent work and I will be using them again for all of my handyman needs. I thoroughly recommend Malcom, am very happy with the service we received, and will be calling Proso Handyman again for future projects.

Malcom from Proso Handyman has been our go-to person for home repairs since moving into our south philly rowhome 2.5 years ago. He helped with all of our initial repairs including plumbing, masonry work, loose doorknobs, and drywall repair. He communicates well and provides advice without trying to oversell or just providing temporary fixes. Him and his team repaired drywall, added new baseboards, and painted my entire first floor in just one day. His services are fairly priced as well.
