They overcharged me to repair my roof and skylights which did not actually fix the problem, and my roof has continued to leak. I had a home warranty after they came the first time, so I had the warranty company come to patch up some of the work Roof Gurus messed up. That worked for a while but now it's leaking again and worse, and I found out it was from the original skylight repair which was not done correctly. I am furious I paid so much to roof gurus for nothing!

I contacted Roof Gurus by accident & I'm glad that I did! They have a nice website & are easy to get in touch with. Tom came out to inspect my roof that was due for standard maintenance & a porch that needed a new roof. He was honest & gave a quote that I think was reasonable. The guys who came to do the work arrived within a good amount of time, were respectful, left things clean & sent me pictures of the completed work. Very negative experience form this company. Did not honor a 5 year new roof guarantee. End up paying another $1200 for service to Tom at roof guru for sealing. Guess what, the Roof is still leaking and now No response and multiple no shows for previous appointments. I would not use this company again!Service: Roof installation

I hired Roof Gurus to replace the roof on my house after receiving multiple quotes. Their quote was fair and complete. They answered all of my questions and re-quoted part of the work when I changed my mind. Most importantly they completed the job in the timeframe they promised and the workmanship was top notch. Although this is a very busy company, I was able to get scheduled for my roof instillation in a timely manner. The people in the office were nice. The roofers were done in a reasonable amount of hours. Afterward I was shown pictures of the completed project and all of my questions were answered. I compared pricing and the work they did for me was within my budget. Im glad I chose this company off Home Advisors, no regrets 👍👍. I was very pleased with the work Roof Gurus did at my home and the cost was less than several other quotes I had gotten.The workers were punctual, courteous and worked with excellence.The worked entailed several aspects such as cleaning all the debris form the roof, reconditioning it, applied silver coat, cover an opening on the wood ledge of the roof, paint the ledge and install a chimney cover. Tomm or John called me and stayed I made a appointment with them. I stayed no I didn't which I didn't. He stated he was inferring of my door. I stated to him that I'm not in the home and I would be there shortly I seen a ad on FB that stayed off your roof is over 5 years old the government has a program I filled out my info next day Monday November 27th he's at my home. Tore my roof up to pictures quote me a price of 4k they took my roof apart . I wasn't having any leaking just wanted to check since I was renovations on the property he lied and stayed he Never was on my roof then how you come up with a invoice and telling me what I needed if he didn't go on my roof. Rope my header board up now talk Very Rude telling me that the wood was over 10 years old and just painted when it had capping and I took pictures to show no leaks in the roof it just Rain all day Saturday 25th. So why no rain damage . I'm going to sue this company he should of never went on my roof telling me how his hand could fit into the hole. Imy phone records my conversations so he needs to explain this. To his boss or my attorney

This company is exceptional. Had a water issue about 2 monthe after new roof and they were there the next day to find it which was a roof vent that was leaking. When they put on the new roof, they removed all the layers of old roof. They used drones to show me. Excellent customer service from Tom and Nick. Thank you!

I have used this company in the past, for roof replacements on my rental properties. This time I had them install a new roof on my home. My home has a large complex roof with several elevations. They arrived on time and performed the replacement in three days. They did a great job, on time at the price quoted. The work area was left clean when they were finished. I called to fix a leak in my roof. Water is on my sheathing about 1 foot wide by 2 feet long. Out came a guy who was very nice and told me I needed a new roof on my dormer and new siding to fix the leak. I was quoted $2,800. I called back a few weeks later to ask a question and the same guy answered and said he could do the job for $2,650. I accepted and sent a deposit of $800. Few weeks went by and they came to perform the job. During the work just before it was finished, I get a call that "additional work" was required.. which will cost $650. Obviously I paid so they could close up the roof. From what I saw, it looked like a good job. I talked to one of the guys doing the work and said this will definitely fix the problem and to call them if there was a problem. Well, the first rain after the job was done it was leaking. I called back, and was told there may be some water trapped and it may not have been because of the current rain and to let them know if the it continues once it rains again. It rained and is still leaking. I played phone tag for about a month, and the same gentleman came out and said that I would probably have to have 1/4 of my roof replaced... Another $4,700. The guy that came out was super nice, I just wish the problem was diagnosed correctly. I still have a leak in my kitchen.Service: Roof repair

The Roof Gurus did a fantastic job on my roof. Two years ago I had another company coat my roof which was replaced in 2012. That company did a HORRIBLE job, I had to have them come back to unseal my skylight, but I wasn't aware of other problems. I had Roof Gurus assess my gutter for problems and they found problems with the roof caused by the other company. Roof gurus put a new roof on my garage, which is separate from my house. They showed up on time, we're dressed alike in clean uniforms, and worked without stopping until the roof was finished. They cleaned up everything when they finished, we're polite during the whole thing, and I think were exceptionally professional throughout. They were on time and when they left and had the project completed you did not know they were even here.What really impressed was the thoroughness if there work they actually removed the siding in the dormer the correctly install the step flashing. I had a leak on a flat roof over an addition. The existing roof had been replaced April2016, and I never heard back from my original roofer.I did my due diligence, and inquired to over 6 companies. Either my job was too small, or they didn't do flat roof repair/replacement, or they came out, but never gave me a quote, and some never returned my call.Danielle was my point of contact and scheduled Tom to come inspect my roof. I had a written quote with a12-year guarantee, the SAME day. Tom went over everything that was wrong with my roof, and explained why they couldn't "just patch it", as the rubber roofing I thought I had was just underlayment - basically worthless!He showed me several types of REAL rubber roofing material, and I was able to choose what I wanted. He told me he'd be back in 3 weeks and that it would be done in a day. And that is exactly what happened. I got a call the day before to notify me they were coming; Steve and Redman called when they left the shop and then again 5-minutes before they arrived. They were careful of my property; explained again what they were going to do and how. Had a leaky enclosed porch roof. When it rained water continually came in the house. Tom from Roof Gurus came out and said it was the siding above the porch roof and the roof. I asked him was he sure? He told me he guaranteed I wouldn’t have that water problem again. After giving me an astronomical price and waiting a month and a half, they came out. The siding was replaced and the porch roof. The 1st rain which was 5 days later the problem still persist, even worse. I took pics and text them to Tom the next day. He text back to ask what was my last name. I told him. From then on I text and continued to call. No response from this company at all. After all this I found it was the downspout that was clogged. I spent a lot of money for nothing with a company that has lousy customer service. Do better people. Answer the phone. Get back to your customers when they call. I had my Shingles and Roof done with Gurus roofing and my Shingles don't look too bad but when I hired them for a skylight repair in my bathroom I told them to repair all the wood because it was rotted and they only did some of it and cover it with a sealing rubber telling me it was to seal the window that wasn't true it was to cover the damage wood. I also was getting silver coating on my entire roof and got partial not silver but white cement I won't ever hired them again or recommend them to anyone I feel like I got ripe off be aware do your research before you let any roofer on your roof specially when you are looking for a professional work done to your home.

They were EXTREMELY professional, worked quickly and left the property clean once finished. Came out the first time replaced the roof still leaked, called and called no answer. Finally came out a second time and they did nothing had to go through someone else to get a hold of them. They came out a third time claim to do this and that the leak is ten times worse. Did not use this company. This was all over the course of a year almost garbage horrible service and they don't care about there customes or returning their calls. No one comes out to look at the work either.
