Some young kid with blonde curly hair and a small beard. He's a liability to you, friend. If this is how your company operates, with such reckless and careless employees, this is not.someone I want working on my homes.

Leeland's took over the maintenance on our slate roof and gutters about 10 years ago. They do consistently excellent work and are a pleasure to deal with on all levels. Donna Granger in their office is terrific and I have always found communicating with Leeland's easy and pleasant. Gabriel and Marquis handled our maintenance appointment yesterday and were prompt, informative, and did great work. I would not trust our roof work to another company.

Leeland’s is awesome. I had seen their positive reviews as well as signs for them all over my neighborhood, so they were the only company we pursued, trusting they’d do great work — and they did. We have a 100 year old slate roof that had some chipped, loose, and missing tiles, as well as some damaged and unattached gutters. They took care of all of it in 3 days and took extra care to leave the yard free of debris or anything dangerous to keep our dogs safe which was very thoughtful. They were also very flexible in letting us provide some of our own slate and snow guards. Gabriel and his team were thorough and courteous, and Donna was always pleasant to schedule with. There was a decent delay from the time we originally called in December, but they told me from the start that they were booking 3 months out, so I didn’t mind. Leeland’s Slate Roofing did a great job on repairing our 100+ year old slate roof and chimney. Donna (admin assistant) was professional, answered all our questions and was very informative. We were on a waitlist but it was 100% worth the wait. The roofers were polite, efficient and did quality work. We will be using Leeland’s for all our future roof maintenance and repairs.

We found Leeland's by accident but after one appointment we immediately canceled our current contract and called the office to have them take over maintenance on our slate roof. the team that came out was professional and courteous. They got the job done quickly and communicated with us the entire time. I had a leak in my roof after we got those bad storms, so I called Leeland's Slate Roofing to check it out. Nathaniel came out initially to inspect my roof and he found a tile was knocked out of place and was able to fix it. After the inspection of the roof, they sent me a very thorough report with photos and a proposal to fix the problem areas. Gabriel and his crew came out to complete the work and were phenomenal. We have a slate roof and have had a great deal of frustration with roofers. Many are unreliable or dishonest. Leeland Roofing was the exact opposite. Their office staff was reliable and were excellent at communicating. (They had to postpone the work because of weather and promptly called to let us know when they would be showing up.) Gabriel and Marquisse were on time, professional and friendly guys and thought I'm not a roofer, it all looks like first rate work to me. I will definitely go to Leeland Roofing next time I need work done.

If you have an old house with a slate roof, you need a specialist. Leeland's was not intimidated by my crazy rooflines and carefully replaced missing slate as they would have done 100 years ago. This past summer was my first experience with Leeland's Slate Roofing. My slate roof is original with the house, built in 1937 and Ive had some repairs from Labor Day Storm several years ago but none since. I was concerned about trees bordering my property which were hanging over the roof. I contacted this company and it was suggested I begin with a diagnostic of my roofs condition. Joe came out and took pictures of my slate roof and graded condition of each area. Yes the limb had broken through the slate but overall the slate was in fair to good condition with some slate that were either missing or broken. I was relieved to finally know the status of the roof and be able to plan for needed repairs. In talking to Joe I was pleasantly surprised to find out this company does so much more. I ended up having gutters hung, no one would bother risking damage to slate to hang gutters, so I have gone without gutters up until this year. I had repairs to damaged wood to a small extended roof and slate added. Cooper flashing added, repaired. Im having my chimney repointed in the spring. Much of what I did was not required but optional. The biggest reason I had so much additional work completed was the quality of craftsmanship. The integrity. The crew working on my home were very professional. They worked hard, showed up each morning on time and cleaned up each day any residue. Matt was the lead installer with others working under him. If I had any questions they were quick to respond. Any concerns I had were addressed in timely fashion. I honestly am so impressed with every person Ive had contact with from the receptionist to the workers. I finally have peace that my roof is structurally sound and the bonus of it looking fabulous. I highlyrecommend this company.

I met this young man … him not knowing me … didn’t. Know the group he was talking to owned businesses or multiple houses or companies… when I asked what he did he said slate roofing I was intrigued… then he proceeded with you can’t afford me , I’m $13 a slate you wouldn’t be able to have me bla bla bla I said you don’t know what I own or have … he said it doesn’t matter I don’t need the clientele I’m good .. I said your only good cuz of business building an that clearly wasn’t from you …

I write as someone who is perpetually disappointed by the quality of current construction techniques - whether that be framing, masonry, joinery or metalwork. Much of the old skills have been lost and replaced with poorer, shorter-life materials and a lack of skill. Leelands Slate Roofers repaired our approximately 90 year old slate roof and much of the copper flashing using proper techniques and quality materials to make the roof last another hundred years. Hire them for any new install or existing slate roof repair. They are 100% trustworthy, reliable and excellent at what they do.

Great work, fair price and good people. I have had slate roofs on several homes, including the one I just purchased. They are beautiful and delicate and will last forever...if properly maintained and repaired. Leyland is by far the best company I have used for this very specialized work. My current roof got some new skates, new vents and flashing and some other significant repairs. It is perfect now! Other companies have often done more harm than good, in 2 cases causing me to just take off the slate and replace it...a tragedy. I wish I had found Leyland Slate many years ago, and I look forward to using their artful services for years to come.

There’s a major deference between real copper and copper clad. Be sure to check all your copper with a magnet. I was an employee and have been published in magazine articles with Leeland Slate. I was fired for putting my foot down from them stealing from customers. If you were charged for 20oz copper. You may want to check if it’s real copper. I have work orders to prove this.
